If its peace and quite you want then this is not the place for you, especially at weekends and later in the afternoons. The beach is NOT private, it is a fenced off area where anyone can pay 20 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella, and if you don't book this in advance you will be stuck at the back. We went to the beach early one day, and sat on 2 unoccupied beds. I thought I would speak to a staff member to let her know where we were and where I should pay. She then had a melt down screaming and shouting "NO those beds are reserved!" We were kicked off of those beds and placed at the back of eight rows. (The beds we originally sat on were left unoccupied all day!). We the decided to spend the rest of our holiday around the pool area, which is free to guests but open to the public at a price. So inevitably it gets extremely noisy and busy once the locals come in. (usually around 2.30- 3.00 pm). When I booked I knew that it was a bit of a walk to restaurants / shops. But I expected there to be a pavement, which there was not for most of the walk, so you have to keep your wits about you with passing traffic, there is also lots of rubbish bags left out you have to avoid on the way. The room we was in was a bit on the small side and it had no balcony, so hanging your towels was a bit of a problem on a plus side the air con was included as was the safety deposit box. Hence the poor rating and not a terrible rating.
