"This quaint Tibetan-style hotel is located just inside Barkhor Street. It is very convenient to the Jokhang Temple and the Potala Palace. There are also many delicious shops nearby. The proprietress is very welcoming. I originally booked another hotel, but because it couldn't accommodate people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, I changed to this Babao Hotel, and I was very satisfied with the result."

"The computer is very good. There is a dryer for me to experience, but honestly, the dryer is useless, and it doesn't work for a long time. , The faucet in the bath has to be pulled to the end to be hot and cold, brothers don't be roasted. , The only uncomfortable point is that the air conditioner does not turn on, the door is still quite hot inside, and then check out at one point and check in at three. There is a disposable razor in the public area, although I will not use it."

The Shambhala Palace (Xiangbala Gong) is a hotel convenient to the Jokhang Temple, the most important and sacred temple in Tibetan Buddhism. At this Lhasa hotel's top roof restaurant, guests can enjoy the view of the Potala Palace from the distance. Those loving to socialize can head to the on-site bar.

"I am very satisfied with the hotel I chose. I like to experience such a pure Tibetan-style room. There is a spare quilt in the room, which can cover two beds. It is not heavy. I like the circle of seats next to the bed when I enter. It is very comfortable to sit. The ones on the table There is water in the copper vessel, and the whole energy field feels very comfortable. The only thing that bothers me is mosquitoes. I get up every night to fight mosquitoes. The service attitude is also very good. I will choose to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

When I first arrived in Lhasa, I stayed at Jicai, primarily because of its cleanliness and its proximity to the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. My experience after checking in was excellent. After my trip to Nyingchi and Mêdog, I booked Jicai again. If you experience altitude sickness, the lobby provides an oxygen concentrator, and the rooms even have diffused oxygen supply. I had wanted to try breakfast in Lhasa, so on my last day, I bought the hotel's breakfast and discovered their noodles (fen) are really good. I regretted not booking a room with breakfast included. If you're still debating whether to book breakfast, my advice is to go for it if you like sour and spicy noodles, because their breakfast noodles are delicious. Delicious, delicious! Front desk service was good, and honestly, Jicai offers great value for money. Highly recommended.

The room is so big Clean and hygienic The front desk service is very polite There are souvenirs available for purchase in the lobby. The price is reasonable and cheaper than at the airport. It's just a bit far from Baguo Street. You have to take a taxi. Everything else is satisfactory.

Hampton by Hilton Lhasa Economic Development Zone

The newly opened Hampton by Hilton in the Lhasa Economic Development Zone is incredibly new, with freshly opened room cards. I chose it because it was new, but I encountered a number of issues, which I'd like to share with you. First, the receptionist was very interesting and diligently asked about my room requirements. I requested a quieter room on a higher floor, but to my surprise, I received a room on a higher floor facing the laundry facilities. The room also had a strong odor, like a moldy refrigerator. Lhasa, as dry as it is, shouldn't have such a smell. I suspect it was the odor of laundry. Since the receptionist didn't know the room well, why bother asking for guest requirements? Our group of three had the same three-bedroom room, but two had a pull-out sofa bed, while one had a standard single sofa. Booking systems in other cities clearly indicate that these are two different room types, and there's a price difference. Another point: this was my second trip to Tibet, and I've stayed in over a dozen hotels, large and small, but this was the first one I encountered that actually required a QR code to pay for oxygen. I think Hampton's approach isn't very good, and in high-altitude areas where oxygen is a necessity, this is highly questionable.

Many people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

InterContinental Lhasa Paradise

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I absolutely have to. We booked three rooms for a two-night stay. First, I'd like to thank the InterContinental for upgrading one of our rooms to an executive room. However, this is, without a doubt, the worst InterContinental I've ever stayed at. Firstly, on our check-in day, we informed the front desk that we had an elderly guest who needed an oxygen concentrator. That machine rattled and clanked all night, making it impossible to sleep. The next day, when we asked if we could get a different oxygen tank, the butler actually told us that the hotel had no other equipment, essentially implying, 'Just deal with it.' On top of that, on the first night, there were people arguing loudly in the hallway, and not once did any hotel staff intervene. Secondly, on the second day, around 9:15 AM, I specifically called the front desk to ask for a light cleaning of the room. The front desk even asked if we wanted the sheets changed, and we said no. Yet, when we returned to the hotel around 6 PM, the room hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk again and had to urge them three times before a staff member finally came knocking on our door, sluggishly. Upon entering, they complained, saying we had told them not to clean the room. I'd like to ask when and where the staff member ever saw anyone from our room, and who said not to clean the room? Is this how five-star hotel staff are trained – to complain to guests and get scolded by the front desk? Is this the InterContinental's service standard? On the second day, during checkout, I went to the front desk to ask for a bag to put some small items in. The front desk initially said, 'Go get it yourself from the concierge.' I just want to know, it's at least 60 meters from the front desk to the concierge; are guests supposed to go retrieve it themselves? I asked if it could be delivered to the front desk, and the staff said it would take a long time, and I should wait in my room. The result? I never got the bag even by checkout time. I ended up carrying a metal box out the main entrance, and the front desk staff didn't even offer an apology. I just want to ask, does this kind of service meet your standards? Which five-star hotel provides service like this? I really shouldn't try to save money next time. I'll stick to Shangri-La, honestly.

Stayed at this hotel in Lhasa for 4 nights and was very satisfied. There is a parking lot, the room has medical oxygen, humidifier, air conditioning, and the height of the sink. I think it is very good and will not be stained everywhere. Open the room air convection, very satisfied, the bedding is also very good, sleep well. Lhasa is easy to be high, the bedding is very important, there is free mouthwash at the front desk, body lotion, etc. Tibet is dry and these are used. You can also wash clothes for free. Li Najia at the front desk has a good service attitude. Before leaving for one night, I found that the hotel still has a free night's night. We ate dumplings and cola. It was very comfortable to eat desserts in Lhasa. Overall, I can feel that the hotel is very thoughtful for the guests, the details are in place, after all, the plateau is different from other cities. If you have the opportunity to go to Lhasa twice, you will definitely come to live here.

🌟In this hotel, every corner reveals carefully arranged details. The room is spacious and bright, and the furniture is warm and comfortable; the bathroom supplies are of high quality, making people feel warm. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful. They answered our questions professionally and meticulously and provided us with a lot of practical travel suggestions. In addition, the hotel has a superior geographical location, convenient surrounding transportation, and many famous tourist attractions and commercial areas are nearby. Here, we felt the warmth of home and the caring care, which left a deep impression. Highly recommended to all travelers!

This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel's location is fantastic, not too far from the Potala Palace, and the area is quiet, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. What really impressed me was the service. The front desk attendant was all smiles throughout, not only processing our check-in quickly but also recommending local specialty restaurants. Every detail showed thoughtfulness. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
