When we arrived Lena’s foot was bothering her. They asked what was going on, then recommended a few spots that would suit her better and suggested which activities to avoid. That one response changed the mood of the whole day. And the hotel being so close to the water meant retirement travel didn’t cost us unnecessary energy getting anywhere. GGuest UserThis is a popular hotel, so I stayed here the night before leaving Coron. Overall, it was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was good. I was really flustered when my boat to El Nido was suddenly canceled, but the reception staff helped me find a solution. I think the biggest strength of this hotel is its staff, who are always eager to actively assist guests with any request and greet them with a smile. I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe Underwater Garden Resort has a unique location on the Baquit Island only 10 minutes boat trip to Coron .Foots in the water! Boatshuttle in hotelrate includet. Very quiet at night and dayover only some boats passing at a good distance. The restaurant is OK with place for improvement. Fishh-Sinigang and grilled fish are delicious. The personell is very gentle, kiind and attentive. They are trying to improve and learn everyday. Thank you for you hospitality!

GGuest UserWe stayed in the King’s Prime View room (or something along those lines), and we honestly had a spectacular experience. The views were stunning — I’m sharing some photos because they really speak for themselves. The room was perfect: clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The pools are great, super accessible, well-oriented for sun throughout the day, and overall very relaxing. The hotel is about 10–15 minutes away from the center. The on-site restaurant isn’t the best, of course, but the food is decent enough for dinner and does the job. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

GGuest UserI stayed there 5 nights. The front staff was very kind and friendly. The restaurant was good. I like the atmosphere. I could ask to keep my beer on their fridge as I didn't have it at my room. Speaking of my room, it was specious but a bit difficult to reach because I need to climb many stairs. However, if I need a hair dryer, I could ask the staff through ” what's up”, which was really convenient for me. Thank you Camila and one another ready.

VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.

LLeiahWe stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and it was worth the money. The room was spacious and clean. Hot and cold shower was available. The staffs were very kind and accommodating to our needs. I was able to work for 1 night with their internet even if it was just around 8mbps but there will be times the internet will be out. If you get the other side of the hotel, you will get an amazing view of the mountain. Only downside of our stay was that my husband got diarrhea on the last day of our stay, it could be from the boat tours or may be from the hotel buffet since I was not able to eat some of the meals there while my husband did. But overall, the hotel stay was great! Hopefully Palawan solves this ongoing “diarrheic outbreak”. We were able to visit Puerto Princesa and El Nido before but never had the experience getting sick.

GGuest UserA gem surrounded by jungle and sea. There's a charming village nearby where you can buy small things like popcorn, coconuts, and bananas. The hotel has a small beach and two pools. It's definitely worth getting a room with a sea view; falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves is wonderful. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful with any questions. Special thanks to the administrator, Len! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the first night, and everything was delicious. On the second night, we tried a local cafe nearby, which is a must-visit – everything there is tasty! If you walk from the hotel towards the river, the cafe is on the right (see photo). Keep in mind that the hotel is far from Coron town, so transfers won't be cheap. There's nothing else around (which was a plus for us). You can also visit the lovely Lakdayan Beach. Downsides: 1. One day, people from a cancelled flight were accommodated at the hotel. The staff couldn't cope, and people were smoking by the pool with no one saying anything. We waited an hour for breakfast the next day. 2. The breakfast menu could use more variety.

MmischiefSai AestravThe Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café. The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go. The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan. You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use. I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa. There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance. The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location. The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map. So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.
