The hotel is charming, the location’s proximity to other attractions is good and the staff is welcoming. Decatur Street unfortunately is especially dirty, lots of homelessness the minute you step out the main entrance and it is very loud if you get a room facing the quarter; so Decatur, a parking lot, the train line, Mississippi and Natchez, you’re guaranteed little to no sleep. After my first night I insisted to be moved to a courtyard facing room. It was very quiet. Just ensure your room has blackout shades. Mine had a white paper shade, with a very bright light right outside it. So good luck. Overall a good value for the money but I personally would not stay here again.
