Oak Meadow Delight Bed & Breakfast

The Oak Meadow Delight B&B met and exceeded our expectations for a one night stay while passing through Ottumwa, IA. The house is beautifully decorated and appointed both inside and out, our Lake View room very comfortable, the morning breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts very friendly and accommodating. Should I ever again find myself roaming through Iowa, I would not hesitate to stay at the Oak Meadow, and would probably make it for two nights in order to double the experience.

Beautiful B &B and tasty breakfast in a lovely room. Bed and room temperature were great, nice host and hostess. Although we were busy with other activitiesand did not visit the gardens, they were beautiful as posted. I would highly recommend a stay here. Good and prompt communication with owner.

As a veteran B&B traveler, I can honestly say that Oak Meadow Delight was the best of the best places I've stayed. The breakfasts were exquisite, the home was lovely and spotless, the atmosphere was peaceful with a country-chic vibe, and the gardens were divine. The hosts were warm, inviting, informative about local attractions, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, including accommodating food sensitivities in a very delicious way. We will absolutely be returning just to spend more time with the lovely Boyer family, both the two- and four-legged ones!

It had been many years since I had been back to my home town of Ottumwa and we stayed at Oak Meadow while visiting family. To say we were very pleased with the experience would be an understatement. Tracy was very sweet, accommodating and made sure our stay was exceptional. The property was beautiful both inside and outdoors. The atmosphere and ambiance was calm, peaceful and just overall relaxing. When we return, we will be sure to stay at Oak Meadow again!

Our stay was amazing. We felt so pampered. The breakfast was so good, and more than we expected. Tracy was so attentive. We really enjoyed our stay. Our trip was a last minute quick stop for a benefit fundraiser. We would definitely itely choose to stay here again.

Great hospitality at this bnb! Easy to book. Tracy, texted me to see what I'd like for breakfast (and was very accommodating). Marvin's omelette was delicious! Room with private bath was beautiful and relaxing. The 24 hour coffee bar was so handy and well stocked. Lots of windows to look out onto lovely landscape. I look forward to returning.

We loved staying at Oak Meadow Delight. Tracy greeted us at the door to explain how things worked and to show us around. The location is just off the highway in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything you would want to do in Ottumwa. So you get the feeling of home, but comfort of knowing you are just minutes away from food, shops and the Bridge View Center. Also, the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Cooked to order and brought out to you in the dining area. Could not recommend this place enough!

Tracy and Marvin shared their beautiful home and gardens with us. The “lodge” room (decorated like a fishing lodge) was spacious and the bed- very comfortable. It was well stocked with towels, magazines, water, refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was home cooked and kept us full until dinner. Marvin’s Garden was lovely- sitting by the large koi pond was very relaxing. Tracy could not have been a better hostess.

Absolutely would not hesitate to stay at Oak Meadow Delight B&B anytime we're in Ottumwa. Respectfulness and kindness always given. Great way to start day with its breakfast and I have dietary restrictions accommodated well.
