I chose this yurt because I wanted to try something a little different, and I never expected such a warm welcome. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home, and it was clear that they genuinely wanted me to have a great stay. Even though we didn't speak the same language, it was never a problem with the help of a few translation apps and plenty of smiles, we were able to communicate and share some wonderful moments. I was even invited to enjoy a homemade traditional meal with the family, a simple yet heartfelt experience that will remain one of my favorite travel memories. The yurt itself is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Spending the night in such a unique setting was an unforgettable experience. In the morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, another thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. I even had the chance to try on a traditional outfit, take some photos, and enjoy a fun karaoke session during my stay. If you're looking for a genuine local experience rather than a standard hotel stay, I highly recommend this place. It offers a rare opportunity to experience true hospitality, and it's a memory I'll cherish for a long time. I couldn't be happier with my stay. If I have the chance to visit China again, I will definitely come back here without a second thought.

Let me give an objective review of my stay at the Meiyuan Light Luxury Hotel. The service was excellent. From the front desk staff to the breakfast auntie and the cleaners, every single employee was smiling and greeted me warmly, making me feel very welcome. This kind of service attitude is definitely what a hotel should offer. Most importantly, the hotel excels in hygiene and cleanliness, meeting even the highest standards. The room was clean and tidy overall, the bedding was dry and odorless, and the bathroom was equally clean, fresh, and free of any smells. I especially liked the TOTO toilet in the bathroom; it flushed automatically with strong power and a fast stream without splashing, which is a great feature. Additionally, the hotel offers free parking, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Sheyi Tea Culture hotel was an amazing stay, definitely a must stay if visiting Hohhot! Food & Drink 🫖 This hotel is also a tea house and it is a tea drinker’s dream! First the room a booked came with my own tea brewing equipment and a tea brewing table with an excellent view and comfortable seats! But that is just the beginning, as you head down to the main floor a fully stocked, beautiful tea house & cafe awaits you. Daily tea and even delicious milk tea is always available. Private table sets and outdoor seating is available too. The tea masters are skilled and attentive, which made all my tea drinking experiences fun and enjoyable! You can also purchase various tea and tea ware right in the tea house. Location 📍 This hotel is perfectly located close to the near by Ancient Street, with many close by temples and shrines to visit. A craft street is close by and available all day, while a famous local food street opens up for colourful night time snacking in the evening. Many close by restaurants offering authentic local cuisine, I recommend reading the hotel’s recommendations as they were always great. If you need even more tea experience, there is a nearby tea wholesale market and many high end tea house in the area as well. The Room 🛌 The room I stayed in had lots of space, was very clean and had everything you could need to feel comfortable. Daily bathroom necessities are provided. High quality bedding, robes and slippers are waiting for you. High end bathroom equipment is installed, with hot water always available. Premium television is set up and Wifi connection always had high speeds. A beautiful kettle and tea set can be used to make tea with daily water and a welcome tea package provided. Staff 👩⚕️ The staff were very king and helpful right from check in. Actually even before check in they were helping bring my luggage inside! They were patient with communication as I was a foreign visitor. They answered any and all questions I had. They recommended great tea and amazing restaurants! The staff were always available and always smiling! Such great people really made my stay a dream. This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in and I definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot! I will be back again for sure.

I highly recommend this hotel! The location is truly unbeatable, making it super convenient for getting taxis and visiting attractions. The room hygiene is top-notch; even the corners are dust-free, and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, including meats, vegetables, pastries, and drinks, so there's plenty to choose from. The biggest bonus, though, is the entire staff – they are warm and attentive, proactively helping to resolve any issues. My overall experience was fantastic. The price is reasonable, offering incredible value for money. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling!

Taking advantage of the May Day holiday, I spontaneously embarked on a trip without much planning, intending to decide things as I went along. My classmate's mother recommended this hotel. To find a 5-star guesthouse-level hotel at this price during May Day was truly exceptional value for money. The hotel environment is excellent; although some areas were undergoing renovation, it didn't detract from the overall guest experience. The front office manager was incredibly welcoming, asking about our travel plans and offering genuine advice, such as visiting Dazhao Temple in the evening and reminding us about the significant temperature difference between day and night, suggesting we dress warmly. On my second day, I had originally planned to go to Chilechuan and then the desert, but she advised me to visit the desert first and then Chilechuan if time permitted. I readily took her advice, and the trip turned out to be perfect. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic and highly recommended. I look forward to staying here again during the summer holidays!

I spent several nights at this hotel and can only highly recommend it. The location is fantastic, it was just steps away from the metro and numerous bus stops, making it incredibly easy to get around. It's also very close to the Dazhao Temple and the Five Pagodas, which was a real bonus for exploring the local heritage without wasting time in transit. I chose to book an apartment style hotel room, and it was such a great decision. After weeks of hopping between one-night hotel stays, I really needed a place to settle down, and this spacious, quiet apartment was exactly what I needed. It was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. The service was flawless. The staff were highly responsive over the phone, available day and night. A huge thank you to the team for taking the time to help me ship my packages, that kind of attention really meant a lot to me. Little touches made all the difference: fresh bottles of water were provided every day, and the trash was taken out daily as well. Honestly, everything was just perfect. Just a helpful tip : don't make my mistake! When you arrive, make sure to go to Building A. As you enter the main hall, it's on the left. there's a big sign clearly indicating it. Same goes for when you order on *******: be sure to specify Building A in your delivery address. Otherwise, your order will end up in the building next door (not far, but you'll have to switch elevators). In short, if I ever come back to the area, I will definitely stay here again. I really should have paid more attention to the negative reviews when I booked this hotel last minute, without doing proper research. What I liked was the large, spacious room and comfortable bedding, with various pillows provided. The window overlooked a grassland racetrack where people were riding horses. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive. However, I was very unhappy that the hot water wasn't hot enough, which was a real problem for someone like me who gets cold easily and couldn't take a proper shower. Another issue was the deposit refund, which wasn't processed promptly. I had to chase them for it 10 hours after checking out – I've never experienced that with a hotel before. The area around the hotel was quite lively and noisy in the evenings due to a performance, which attracted a lot of cars and people.

The hotel is about 4 kilometers away from the highway. The hotel is very convenient for parking and dining. There is a gas station more than 100 meters away from the hotel, so it is a good choice to take a break as a self-driving tour. In addition, hotel services and facilities are also good.
