Absolutely loved it! The 4.8 rating is well-deserved; this is hands down the best capsule hotel I've ever stayed in. The bunk beds are designed to create individual private rooms facing opposite directions, each with a safe, offering excellent privacy and security. Don't miss the massage chairs in the common area on your floor. Downstairs, there's a hot spring bath ♨️, and if you arrive late, you can book a private bath at the front desk – it's incredibly refreshing to enjoy it alone! After your soak, there's even ice cream available, which is fantastic! In the mornings, they offer free breakfast, and in the evenings, complimentary instant noodles. The location is superb, right in Chinatown, across from the Kuan-ti Temple, with countless delicious food options nearby. The front desk service is impeccable; all the staff are super nice. I'd love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!

Guest UserIf you're attending a concert, this is undoubtedly the best choice. It's right next to K-Arena, a mere 1-minute walk away. Anpanman Children's Museum is also very close. There's a Lawson convenience store nearby that closes at 11 PM. It's a bit of a distance to Yokohama Station, about a 15-20 minute walk, or around 1500 JPY by taxi. There's a bus to Haneda Airport right outside, but it has limited operating hours. However, since it's the first stop, you don't need to book tickets in advance; you can just buy them on the spot. The shower is in the bathtub. Breakfast was decent, nothing special.

ww10oThe room window even offered a stunning view of a fiery sunset! The room details were excellent, compact yet refined, and the space was just right – not cramped at all, which is quite good for Japan. The hotel's amenities and services were great, with an endless selection of bath salts and delicious coffee. It's located right above the station, which is incredibly convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again!

Anonymous UserIf you’re looking for a hotel near K-Arena, this one is absolutely worth considering.
The location is excellent, situated in a business district with plenty of restaurants available during the daytime. There’s a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient, although it closes at 11:00 PM. After around 9:00 PM, it can be a bit difficult to find late-night food nearby. However, the vending machines offer options like takoyaki and pork teriyaki rice, which are helpful for a quick late-night meal.
The room is spacious enough for two people and offers a great view. The bathroom is large and separated from the toilet, which makes it more comfortable to use.
Amenities are available at the lobby for guests to pick up, and they provide everything you might need—cleansing oil, face wash, cotton buds, conditioner, shaving cream, shaving kits, and more. Pajamas are also provided in the room, and they are very comfortable.
One of the highlights is the onsen located on the lobby floor, open until 1:00 AM. It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of meetings or events.
There is also a laundry area with washing and drying machines at a very affordable price. However, the dryer may not fully dry clothes even after 90 minutes, so keep that in mind.
The lobby area is suitable for working late into the night. Wi-Fi is strong, and complimentary coffee and hot tea are available 24/7.
The TV is excellent—Sharp 4K with good sound quality—perfect for watching your own Netflix content.
Overall, a great stay, especially for business travelers or anyone attending events at K-Arena.

When I came to Yokohama during my trip to Japan, I chose a hotel near Minatomirai. The check-in experience was good, and it's not far from the station. There's a convenience store downstairs, and water dispensers and ironing facilities in the hallway. The breakfast was filling and delicious. It's a great place to stay while traveling. Getting to Chinatown or Yokohama Station is also quite convenient.

Guest UserThe hotel is very close to Shin-Yokohama Station, making it a great choice if you're taking the Shinkansen to Kyoto or Osaka. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the Japanese-style set breakfast is a unique touch.

Guest UserFirst off, the hotel's location is superb. It's a five-minute walk from JR Kannai Station, thirty seconds from a subway station, and about eight minutes from Bashamichi Station, making it incredibly convenient whether you're exploring Yokohama or heading into Tokyo. For shopping, there are two or three convenience stores nearby, and a shopping street just across the road, so buying anything is a breeze. Car rental is also very convenient, with a Toyota Rent a Car service point within a five-minute walk, and plenty of affordable parking lots around.
As for cleanliness and facilities, it's pretty standard for a business hotel. They still clean every three days, and you have to leave your trash bin outside your door before you go out, which is a minor inconvenience.
The most inconvenient aspect of the service is that you have to go to the front desk to get towels and bath towels yourself, which leads to a significant difference in service quality. One older gentleman provided excellent service; he always asked how many I needed and packed the towels nicely in a bag. However, the younger staff I encountered lacked this awareness. They seemed a bit impatient with foreign guests and didn't bag the towels, making me carry them by hand. This is definitely an area that needs significant improvement.

My stay at Comfort Hotel Yokohama Kannai was enjoyable overall. Parking costs 1,600 yen per day. The front desk team was welcoming, attentive, and professional, making check-in quick and easy. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied—I loved the creamy scrambled eggs with toast and broccoli, and the grilled mackerel with rice was outstanding. Granola with fresh milk was a nice addition. The double room was clean and comfortable, although the bed felt a bit tight. It would be more convenient if complimentary bottled water were available.

Guest UserA little hard to find for the first time despite being close but that has more to do with negotiating the ups and downs and roundabouts of Yokohama. It was just what I needed for a night.

NixaWhat a great little find! Perfect price, perfect stay. The room is definitely teeny tiny BUT… the staff are friendly and helpful, there’s lots of toiletries to choose from on arrival, bakery items for purchase 24/7, sanitiser available on every floor, comfy bed, dressing gown and slippers…good breakfast buffet (though no hot selection for vegetarians other than soup). Bus and train within walking distance. Close to marina and a couple of great izakaya. Overall, just terrific.
