✨ An absolutely amazing stay, I have to rave about it! This guesthouse I chose in Jiuhua Mountain was a real hidden gem. From check-in to dining, the entire experience was incredibly pleasant. • The owner and staff were warm and attentive. Whether it was pre-trip inquiries, a pick-up before check-in, or asking for local sightseeing recommendations after arriving, they answered every question with immense patience. It felt just like visiting a friend's home, so comfortable. The biggest surprise was the homemade food! The pickled vegetable and pork intestine, stir-fried dried bamboo shoots, and tomato and egg soup – every dish hit the spot, tasting exactly like home cooking. The portions were generous, and the flavors were fresh. Even my friend who doesn't like offal praised how clean and flavorful the intestines were. Enjoying such a delicious, hot meal after praying was pure bliss! • The room also completely exceeded expectations. It was clean and tidy overall, with very new facilities. The bedding was soft and incredibly comfortable to sleep in. The 'Zizai' (meaning 'at ease') sign on the door added a lovely touch, and I had a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The small courtyard was elegantly designed and very relaxing. Sitting there in my free time, feeling the breeze and sipping tea, was incredibly rejuvenating.

Clean and hygienic, there is a yutuan in the room, you can see the big Buddha from the balcony of the room. The boss is a converting Jushi. When he checked in, he accidentally saw him meditating and chanting. The whole family eats vegetarian food. The lobby of the hotel is full of scriptures, you can learn to refer to. The boss is enthusiastic and can help you plan your path or discuss Buddhism together. There are courtyards at the front and back, and there is a small playground in front of children to play.

The three-bedroom room is spacious, the house is new, and it even has a balcony. The location is very close to Dayuan Cultural Park. The landlady is very welcoming and will give you suggestions on a day trip itinerary for Jiuhua Mountain, and she also provides maps. The surrounding area is full of newly built houses and various guesthouses, and it's about a 12-minute walk to the Jiuhua Mountain Visitor Center. After comparing two other places I ate at nearby, I personally think this landlady's cooking is better; the stinky mandarin fish and salt and pepper Solomon's seal are quite good. (If I had to point out a drawback: 1. The designer was too whimsical during the renovation of the washbasin and didn't consider its practicality. It's installed too high, making it easy for water to splash out. The color looks good in the photos, but it doesn't look clean in reality. 2. Many hotels in Anhui have very high-end toilets; the automatic flushing has the advantage of strong flushing power, but the downside is that the flushing is loud, which can disturb other people's sleep at night. This isn't an isolated case at this place.)

From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

The hotel is on the edge of the Jiuhuashan Tourist Service Center. It is very convenient to enter and exit. It takes seven or eight minutes to walk. The hotel is garden-style, the lobby public area is very good, the front desk service is very good, the check-in is very fast, because the weather is cold, the hotel also opened the heating of the room in advance, although the hotel is a bit old, but the maintenance is not bad, the facilities are well maintained, the room is large, the linen is comfortable, the network speed is very good, The breakfast is rich in variety and the food is very good. If you drive, you can park the car at the hotel and go up the mountain to worship Buddha. The overall price is good.

Location: Walking distance from the gate entrance for free and easy travellers like us. Not far from all the main attractions in the town area. one of the cable car stations is just 2 minutes away and the bus to the other cable car station (to TianTai temple) is 5-10 minutes walk away. The hotel also has a small restaurant. convenient if you just want to stay at the hotel at night. The hotel next door offers great lunch and dinner buffet. We loved the spread. Only thing that you need to take note is the hotel is located slight higher up the hill, need to walk up/down staircases to get there.

The overall design of this hotel is particularly online, not the same decoration, the details are very careful. The room was clean, tidy and warm, and it was comfortable and at ease. The boss is super warm and thoughtful, not only the service is intimate, but also patiently shared with us a lot of practical play guides, avoiding the pit and worry-free, really too much points. The location is even better. It takes three minutes to walk to the ticket sales and bus points. It is particularly convenient to travel. It saves a lot of trouble to go up and down the mountain. The overall stay is comfortable and practical. Whether it is the environment, service or location, it is impeccable. I really don't step on thunder when I come to Jiuhuashan. I really recommend it to everyone. I will choose here next time!

The hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted . Room is clean and functional . Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage. He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 . So many restaurants too!!!!!!!! He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop . The accommodation was great, and if you're driving, parking is incredibly convenient. We arrived by high-speed train, and the hotel arranged a pick-up for us directly from the scenic area's entrance. On our departure day, we could leave our luggage at the front desk. Later, after we came down from the mountain, a simple call to the hotel was enough, and they sent staff to deliver our luggage to us. Highly recommended.

The boss drove to the ticket office to pick me up. The boss and his family were very friendly. They also brought me a thin blanket at my request. The service was excellent. The room was as shown in the picture. Objectively speaking, it was in line with its price. After all, it was not expensive. It was clean and tidy. The only problem was that the shower door in the bathroom was not closed tightly and the water leaked outside. The water temperature was sometimes hot and sometimes cold.
