Everything was perfect as usual, food was amazing, staff were amazing, room was exceptional, location is out of this world, we had another great stay at The Cavern, I first went to The Cavern in the late sixties as a kid, been going there on and off since then, we have been fortunate to get to go there twice this year, well worth the 12 hour flight from the UK, our favourite berg resort, already planning our next stay, well done Megan and Hilton, keep up the exceptional work.

The nanny services were amazing, the children's activities were great, the food was delicious, the hikes on offer exactly what we were looking for, the room was perfect. I can't think of a single complaint or suggestion. We loved our stay and will certainly be back as soon as possible.

During our honeymoon getaway, our initial visit left us utterly spellbound. The breathtaking views surpassed all expectations, truly taking us to another realm. The exceptional treatment we received made us feel like royalty, and the warmth of the hospitality extended to us was truly unforgettable. Days later, we still find ourselves lost in thoughts of this extraordinary place, its charm lingering in our minds.

What a beautiful place. Stunning scenery , great walking . 2 walks a day organised with delightful guides. Great rooms, super service and excellent food. Beautiful pool to relax in after a mornings exercise. Nothing negative to say, we loved it and will hopefully be back as soon as possible

The Cavern is an excellent place to stay. Beautiful setting in the mountains, lovely walks, good meals, Morning and afternoon teas - what more could you ask for. The perfect family hotel in the perfect setting.

Is it possible to fall in love with a hotel? Judging by the way I felt when I left this morning, I believe it is. The Cavern has truly captured my heart, and it's not hard to understand why: the immediate connection to the family story that imbued a sense of place and authenticity, meeting numerous staff members and hearing their stories, the splendid design, comfort, and the enchanting garden. The walks were superb, and the significance of connecting with like-minded guests should never be underestimated. The provision of all meals certainly contributed to the homely atmosphere, and both the meals and service were exceptional.

Fantastic stay in what must be one of the best resorts in the Drakensberg. So sorry that we took so long for our first visit. Excellent location and views, excellent gardens and outdoor areas, very good accommodation in a superior room, great food and very good service. Our only recommendations would be availability of trail maps and better signage for solo hikers and better satellite TV selection.

We had an exceptional stay at the Cavern as always, unfortunately it was only 2 nights, room was fantastic, food was out of this world, staff as friendly as always. We are already planning our next stay at the Cavern next year, I would definitely recommend The Cavern.

Our stay at the Cavern hotel was most pleasant. There is an aura of integrity and good service about the place. The staff was friendly, well trained and most helpful. The gardens were beautiful and the pool magnificent. The arranged walks in the mountains catered for all levels of fitness.
