Parque Santiago II

Lovely resort amazing pool and restaurants /cafes but very expensive. Staff in all departments very unhelpful. Have visited for 20 years and always found reception staff to be very unhelpful.No service with a smile in restaurants and cafes here

Well, not what I expected as it's a private residence with rentals being offered via *********** and other main sites , the photos and general write up sounds and looks good ! But on arrival it's a different story! The building had maintenance happening from 9am /10am daily until 4/pm in apartments and around the gated area, so non stop noise.... The pool rules are as follows: no floats, no balls, no jumping, no diving,no music, basically the pool police will shut you down for anything you do ! There is a charge for sun beds , bed mats and umbrella 5 euro per med and topper and 1.5 for the umbrella. Beds are plastic and so not support any weight, should be updated with new modern beds. You will not dry from the pool as the topper is plastic and retains the water, also gets hot is. Or covered fully with towel *********** does mention this but not the actual cost , the residents get them for free, so if you're renting an apartment from a resident ask them if they had bed passes ... At 4 pm daily , someone let's out their per parrot's ( 3 or 4 of them) you get 1 hr of them flying around and making noise 🤣.. some of the complex smells of dirty oil and cooking from the places to get food and apartments.. The pool bar area, good food, and friendly. Not cheap but if you don't want to make food a good option. The pool is gated in and there are shops and cafes in the complex but most are shut down and the area is very dated , it's full of surfing shops, expect general people to be walking around in this area. Check the small print with the rental company what you get included some have AC some don't, some are clean and some are not, overall in a nice apartment with beds included the complex would be much better but IMO if you have kids DO NOT BOOK HERE they can't be kids

Nothing at all wrong with the complex far from it, been coming years and it’s fine, however the pool bar has changed and it’s for the worse! Always had a happy hour until 6 and a late afternoon swim and a couple of beers at 1.50€ in the sun was a real joy for me. New “facelift” after pool renovation last year has seen the beer now €3.50 food is 2-3€ more than the seafront bars nearby and the barman cannot count as 1.25 € is change for a pint from 5€ too hot and can’t be arsed to argue over 0.25€ but suffice to say won’t be back!

Good size Apartments close to the beach . Had so msny local bars and restaurants in the area so never had to walk far . Supermarkets on site for food and drink . The pool was big and even had a pool bar next to it that sold food .

They took away the white bridge and the pool was salt water. You aren’t allowed to jump in the pool or play with balls or you would get told off. You have to pay for sun beds including a mattress to go on the sun bed and an umbrella. The water pressure from the shower wasn’t great, but it still got my hair clean. If you forget your key in the room you can’t open the door to get it only if the back door is unlocked. Pool bar staff were extremely lovely great food with live football. They had a range of food and drinks nothing i couldn’t asked for there. Overall it was not that bad, but worth the stay and cheep enough.

Great location for all areas of the resort, and well run. Very clean. Only down side is having to pay for sunbeds €3.50, cushions €1.50 and umbrellas, €1.50. This type of thing should be limited to beaches, not apartment complexes.

We are near the patch room number 513 noise then they are carrying out building work start at 8am. Sleeping is a nightmare. If you have a disability scooter there’s no where to charge it. The room taps are broken shower is plastic can hardly fit inside. The water was turned off without us knowing. Never again horrible place to stay in. Please look before you book. You also have to pay for 3.50 per day.

Stayed here many times before , lovely location pool area and gardens always clean and tidy. The apartment we had this time had to be the best we’ve ever had . Clean modern tastefully decorated , gad everything you could of asked for even its own Wi-Fi which was excellent. Booked with Holiday Lettings , the owner Darly Grundy , we would definitely book this apartment again , the only down side was the stairs but at least it kept you fit

This is a review of the Parque Santiago 2 as a complex and not specifically the room as it is all privately owned apartments. My wife and I stayed here for a week in March and our first impression was it was just ok. The complex is a bit dated tbh. There was ongoing building work being carried out though with the floor tiles in the block being replaced. This was a bit of a pain at times with workmen outside your front door but I understand this is necessary and hopefully a start to upgrade the full place. The biggest disappointment for us was the €5 charge each to use the sun loungers at the pool. As long as we’ve been going on holiday I’ve never been charged to lay at the pool. This annoyed us to the point that we wouldn’t return here. Big plus was the Harpers pool bar who serve food and drinks at a reasonable price and is very handy. The food was lovely and the staff were very nice and helpful every time. We had a great holiday and we will always return to Tenerife as it’s our favourite place in the world but we won’t be returning to the PS2 I wouldn’t think.
