Esta nuevo , son mini apartamentos muy útiles y cómodos , limpios y bonitos . Al rededor tiene unos bares pero nada de producto local y necesitas coche si te alojas allí .

Just returned from a really relaxing break at the JS PortoColom Suites. We were allocated room 319, a nice room with balcony and sea view of the bay. Room was decorated nicely, the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was immaculately clean. Staff were all friendly. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were great. Outdoor pool had a nice snack and bar area, cocktails were amazing, lots of sun beds and seating. The restaurant was really nice, good selection of hot and cold food, the fresh bread was excellent. The hot food could have been served hotter to our liking. We definitely hope to return later in the year.

Nice hotel, each room has a bedroom and a living room, two TVs, quite spacious in total. The bathroom is also spacious, contains a well working shower (immediately hot water available). There is a well working Wi-Fi available and two silent working air-conditions (for each room). The style is modern and cool, nothing to complain (all refurbished). Room cleaning was done quickly and well, appreciated. The only minus: a coffee machine in the room was missing. The fridge was not properly working but was done after my complain. The dining room is nice designed. The breakfast is good, also dinner (I got half-board). I have to admit that all dishes were seasoned well which is rare in Buffet Cuisine. Some of the dishes were cold, but do not expect high standards at a Buffet. The show cooking was always great. At breakfast, you had a terrible coffee machine (except the Espresso was made out of fresh coffee beans). In addition, the juices were made out of extraction. Compared to this you got plenty of various milk sorts, the pancakes were the best I ever had and all other dishes were excellent, too. For both buffets: not such a big choice each time, but higher quality of the ingredients to other buffets I had in the past at other places. The table clothes were always nicely done and high quality (at dinnertime table napkins). The pool area was reachable thru a Tunnel system in the backyard of the hotel. The staff was always absolutely friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at this hotel to celebrate our engagement. The hotel is beautiful and clean with friendly staff. The pool is clean and immaculate, loved having a Pina Colada and a swim. Our room was clean and spacious, we had clean towels every day. Asked down at reception to borrow some wine glasses for the room, lovely to have a cold bottle of wine in the fridge to drink on balcony. Would advise to book a sea view room as we didn’t do this and was overlooking a road, although this didn’t hinder our experience. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area- more than I thought there would be! Fantastic Italian right next door to hotel- highly recommend! Also nice restaurants towards marina right on the waterfront. And if you head the other way towards Cala Marçal beach there are also lots of restaurants and gift shops. Beautiful beach it took my breath away when we first saw it. Sunbeds on beach are €17 for the day which include a lock box. Breakfast at the hotel was nice, we had freshly made omelettes most mornings. Lots of meats/cheeses/pastries to choose from. Beautiful dining room. Paula at reception was really helpful when we asked about caves drach bus route- we were going to just get bus and get tickets there but Paula advised to book beforehand- so glad she did as all tickets were booked that day! We went a few days later, definitely worth a visit and then have lunch in Portocristo afterwards a beautiful fishing port. We also got the bus to palma which is a longer journey but good day out. Also amazing local cafe up the road called Cafe Forn which does excellent coffee and tapas very cheap too. Highly recommend this hotel we are already looking at coming back as the area is just beautiful.

This is a very good hotel with some thoughtful touches and wonderful staff. As others have stated Paula on reception and Moses in the restaurant deserve a special mention from us. All the other staff we interacted with are just as efficient and hardworking - but the personalities of these two just stood out. We had a lovely room at the front with a sea view - which was just as well, as, unfortunately, we had a few rainy days so at least we had a nice room to sit in and a T.V. each! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and we couldn’t fault anything in that respect. We were there more or less as it opened for the season and the first few days the restaurant was comfortable and civilised but became a bit more chaotic as the days went by. We found the food on the first few days to be okay but not outstanding. However, it just got better and better over the next week until the tables were groaning with food by the time we left and there was too much choice! I have to agree with one or two other reviewers though that the labelling and temperature of the food were a bit hit or miss. The chefs were all very jolly and friendly as well. It is a fairly low key hotel which is exactly what we had hoped for. The only slight negative aspect for us was that we weren’t expecting quite so many 'little darlings' running around the restaurant at mealtimes screaming and touching food that they weren’t taking to eat. With it being a quiet hotel and resort we hadn’t really anticipated this in the early season, especially outside of the school holiday dates. Come on parents… I know they’re probably tired and bored but please try and keep them under control. We loved the overall 'traditional' feel of the village - still mainly full of fishing boats and pastel coloured houses without too many high rise hotels and noisy music bars. Lots of lovely walks round the rocky coastline when the rain stopped. We ventured out on the bus to nearby Felanitx and I must just mention how courteous the locals in both Portocolom and Felanitx were to us. Both ways the locals stood up and offered us a seat at the bus stop, and both ways the locals gestured for us to go ahead of them on the bus even though we’d arrived at the bus stop after them. What a heartwarming and pleasant surprise these days. Perhaps my partner’s snoring had made me look more haggard than I thought! To summarise if you want non stop entertainment and lots of loud bars etc. then neither the hotel nor the resort are for you (especially in the shoulder season) but if you like a clean extremely well run hotel in charming quiet scenic surroundings, with low key facilities to while away an hour or two, then you’ll love it just like we did. We would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel and would like to thank all the staff at the JS Portocolom Suites for looking after us.

Very clean and smart hotel, staff were brilliant. Food was good, plenty of choice . Rooms were nice , but should have tea and coffee facilities in the rooms being 4 * great otherwise, more of an adult oriented hotel.

Really lovely hotel, Paula on reception was so helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, very clean with comfortable beds. The only grip I would have, there is no kettle etc in the room. You can hire one from reception, but we decided to take our travel kettle, 2 cups, spoon, tea and coffee with us. There is a fridge in the room where we could keep the milk we bought, so all sorted for our early morning cuppa! The restaurant provides a good choice of food and if you fancy a glass of bubbly with your breakfast check out the fruit section, it made quite a pleasant change. The pool area was also very good, especially for children and the gym and indoor pool at the far end is well worth a visit.
