Initially this hotel seems placed on the noisy main road with the dining room open to it. But the rooms are at a distance in the forest. Thus complete silence. The pool was very good and the food excellent. My room had a shower that worked but needed some attention to the head. Having put an expresso machine in the bedroom it seemed odd to only get one capsule when was staying three nights. Staff so helpful. Sarapiqui is an ordinary Costa Rican town away from the main tourist route and thus an experience in itself. White water rafting excellent.

Front desk and bar Restaurant service was great. the housekeeping not so good. Never the right towels or other supplies. No hot watert most of the time. Restaurant was excellent. Pleasant setting for rooms away from the street. Saw plenty of birds from my deck. This place is long in the tooth.

We had a group of 12 visiting C.R. for a week. The hotel did a fantastic job pre-arrival with clear communication and very quick email responses. When we arrived, everything was exactly as planned. Throughout the visit the staff at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. We had every breakfast there and 3 dinners. The food is great and reasonably priced. When you arrive, the hotel does look a little surprising- the pictures look as if it is in a nature preserve, however, the hotel is actually right on the main street in town. This ended up being perfect. We could easily walk to the grocery and amazing bakery - but the hotel grounds really do seem like you are in a preserve. We had a beautiful owl right outside our patio the entire trip. The monkey's came by everyday and you didn't hear any sounds of "town". The rooms were good size with a large shower and air conditioning. There is a TV in the room but we never watched it- there was too much going on outside to stay in the room!! If you are looking for a well priced, comfortable, convenient and interesting hotel- this is your place!

This hotel is rustic really but very quiet and serves the purpose.
The restaurant has good food and friendly staff !!

Best hotel to stay if you want peace and quiet. Superior rooms have a small patio looking out into jungle. Lovely and serene. Easy access to main street shopping. Great restaurant with outstanding staff. Laundry service is great and very reasonable.

Lindísimo lugar!!! nos dejó muy impresionados. Muy amplia las habitaciones y muy buena la comida. El servicio es excelente! Súper recomendado. Todos se preocuparon por hacernos sentir muy cómodos. Las habitaciones internas nos trasladan positivamente.

Hôtel très bien situé on est dans la ville mais les chambres sont dans "la keugle* cocktail d accueil, petit dej très bien et en prime les aras s invitent au petit déjeuner dans l arbre d en face.
