Riebeek Valley Hotel

Fantastic time I had, lovey atmosphere, beautiful view we had, amazing menu, lots of options to choose from, room setup I loved, fluffy pillows what an exciting we had, I will be going back for my next family outing just to relax and have good time

I went to this hotel in January with my wife and it was fantastic – the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were great. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. The gardens were immaculate. However, there is room for improvement, especially in the rooms.

We just took a trip and ended up at Reebek valley resort to our surprise it was amazing. We had some much fun just adulting with out the kids. Now and then we need time out and just go wherever the wind blows you. You will be surprised how many amazing place we have in South Africa

Beautiful gardens but rooms are Old and tired and need a lot of work. Breakfast service was non existent unless you went looking for someone and we didn’t have our rooms cleaned once over 3 nights. Very poor and do not recommend.

Great place indeed! I enjoyed myself more than I thought I would. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I always had someone willing to assist me with anything. It was a very beautiful place with the best view. We were lucky to taste their delicious food. My friends and I really had the time of our lives. The vibe is just awesome, can’t wait to visit again!

The advertised hotel, as in the pictures online and 4 star rating, is NOT the hotel you get in real life! The hotel has been downgraded to two stars. The garden is overgrown and poorly tended to, the rooms (or at least the ones myself and my family stayed in) were grubby and outdated. The carpets were disgusting - old, dirty and full of stains. The showers in both rooms looked like they haven't had a good scrub in ages, the grouting which was once white, was black, there were hairs on the wall in my shower, and the floor of the shower was really grimey. The aircon was not working and due to the many mosquitoes we couldn't have the windows open, so the room was incredibly stuffy and hot. There was no soap provided for the bathroom, and the walls general space was dirty, marked and full of cobwebs and one or two spiders. It was very sad as you can tell it was once a beautiful, well maintained and loved hotel with stunning manicured gardens. The staff however, were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average but not terrible (definitely not as advertised!!) and the inner sheets on the bed were clean. I never write reviews and it takes a lot to get me to write something negative, but I feel that it is totally unfair to advertise as 4 star with clearly very old pictures, but once you get there to see that it looks nothing like that. We were so looking forward to a beautiful stay here for our last night of holiday and were really disappointed by the lack of care taken in looking after this once lovely old hotel.

Good hotel love everything about it, food, employees, service hood, the view is so good, the rooms are big and welcoming staff especially in the reception it a good experience and I will remember the day always me being there, had lot of things

it was not a planned trip we were traveling and we needed a place to rest and as I was giggling I found this awesome hotel me and my partner we were tired and I asked for room service immediately they arranged something quick, we were so happy with their efforts

Lovely place, food was amazing and the staff too. The kids loved it too. It's family friendly and amezing environment.. No too far from other restaurants and shops... There. Facility is clean and room service staff very Attentive and welcoming.
