Excellent service! We arrived around 11 am and got a room before check-in time, no questions! Wonderful reception space with lounge and restaurant and a nice rooftop bar! The room was in the corner, nice, but a little noisy and cold.

A great choice and positioned I a good location

The bathroom was leaking electricity, and I felt an electric shock after taking a shower. At 1 a.m., the room suddenly lost power. I asked the front desk to repair it but failed, so I had to change rooms. I packed my luggage in the dark, but the front desk changed me to a very small room. I went downstairs to discuss whether I could change to the same room as before so that I didn’t have to change back the next day. As a result, the front desk’s service attitude was very poor, saying "Oh, my computer is also under repair" and refused to change it for me. As a result, I had to change rooms twice in two nights in that hotel! The point is that I had to pack my luggage in the dark when there was no electricity in the early morning! It’s outrageous!!!

The location is really good, the water and drinks in the minibar are enough to drink, but the parking fee is 35 euros a day, no matter how many hours you park. The breakfast is on the first ba*****t floor, which is not satisfactory.

Exceptional

Having stayed at Le Meridien for the second time within a 10-month period, allowing for some comparisons between the two visits. Upon arrival, I encountered some familiar faces from my last visit, with varying degrees of friendliness. This time, however, the staff seemed more prompt in addressing issues, such as missing room amenities. In terms of the room, not much has changed since my last visit. The switches and curtains remain the same. However, I must commend the room service, which consistently delivered meals with a smile, making my stay more enjoyable. The highlight of my stay was the final farewell today, with a doorman who was exceptionally friendly. Overall, Le Meridien offers a mixed experience: improved service, consistent rooms, but with lingering issues that detract from the overall stay.

The pros of this hotel are the location is quiet and less chaotic than the historical center hotels. You can walk to castello st Angelo. And take a cab to the historical center or Vatican. Concierge is helpful. There are some pricey and trendy restaurants nearby Michelin this and that. Some good non Italian restaurants like Japanese and Chinese restaurants nearby for those who need a break. Rooms are modern a relief from the quirky rooms in older places in the historic center. I had three rooms and one had a very small shower. Ac worked. One of the twin mattresses was sloping down in the center. Need to check them for sag. Also there was only one bathrobe in the room. When I asked for another one guest services said you have a robe in your room! Am I supposed to share? Maybe guest services does not know they give one for two people. For Gold Elite the rooms weren’t ready till 3pm. Good buffet breakfast. Convenience store carrefour nearby. The card keys tended to deactivate suddenly and had to get replacement. Wifi requires login each time even with enhanced wifi. Also had to reboot my laptop everytime to get the login page. Marriott should simplify the wifi process. A pump handsoap would make things easier than handling the tiny bar soap. This is a modern hotel if you don’t need to be in the center of the historical district. Just a few quirks.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Le Meridian Visconti in Rome! The hotel staff, from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the rooftop lounge, everyone was super helpful and friendly. The hotel is very comfortable and we found the hotel nice. Finally, it’s located in a great part of Rome near a castle and The Vatican (walking distance). Plus, there are several really good restaurants in the area and a killer gelato store. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend you give Le Meridian a shot if visiting Rome! We’d definitely come back!!

I cannot say enough how wonderful of a stay I have had a Le Meridian Visconti. I only wish I could extend. Excellent location to walk to major sites, but insulated enough so you don’t feel like it is overcrowded. As a solo traveler I felt nothing but safe in the area. Lovely restaurants nearby if you want to explore. Every associate I came into contact with was absolutely friendly and accommodating. Was truly grateful for their hospitality and is a big reason I do not want to move hotels. The only drawback is the shower is SMALL (blame the designer, not the associates). Grazie Mille!

Good location walkable to all of the big attractions. Great restaurants and shops close by. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Roof top bar a nice amenity. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The only negative is that the shower floor was very slippery.
