We had a fantastic time skiing. The location of the hotel is second to none. The instructors at the ski school in the hotel were exceptional (Marion and Pascal). The young GO staff are friendly, energetic and helpful. The kids club is brilliant. The rooms are comfortable. The bathroom had a broken towel hanger, which was left on the side by the room cleaners. The boot room was a sauna. Really uncomfortable for all guests getting ready to ski or on their return. It was so hot that coats, helmets and gloves had to be put on once outside. As a vegan, the food was very disappointing, hence an average review. There are so many options, but so few are vegan. The food labelling is unclear what includes dairy and what doesn't. Really bad if you're lactose intolerant. For example both sweet and regular showed dairy, but regular had no dairy... so we were told. For tea, as a vegan, there is only fruit available. Compared to limitless options that aren't. Only fruit, even the vegetable soup wasn't vegan. Given the hotel is all inclusive, this is very disappointing. The F and B manager only started making an effort with additional options half way through our trip, but this took lots of prompts and questions. The reception desk staff are helpful but I'm lost for words that when I changed my payment card details, having gone through all the processes with them, the old card was still charged, incurring additional charges for me. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The swimming pool, sauna and sun deck is great. The hotel is spacious and the library area is a good escape from the fun and noise. Our transfer wasn't until the afternoon. We were disappointed that more efforts were not made by the staff to confirm a later departure. This is a huge hotel and we went during an off peak time. At the time to check out the cleaners weren't even in our area. It felt like it was easier for the hotel to be unhelpful than helpful on this point. This was certainly the sentiment from the reception desk.
