Union Square Plaza Hotel Reviews

The location is just right at Union Square. The bus station to almost every attraction as well as bus 292 and BART to the airport.. The downside is that there are many homeless people all around the area. On the way to the hotel, you can not miss passing them. The whole downtown area smells like ********. However the jotel itself and the staff are great.The room came with electric fan not air conditioning .

It was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is only a short walk from the Bart station, hop on hop off buses and street cars. As a 1st time visitor to USA on a tight budget, this place is great. I have booked my room again for the night before I catch my flight home to Australia.

The hotel was clean staff was efficient the hotel looks like they are working on making it better like remolding. The windows I think should have a protective screen on the outside because if a family with young children had the room we were in (401) I was able to manually open the window and someone can easily fit their body outside and have a horrible accident.

I'm not booking here again. better choose a newer hotel around union square. the room has a foul smell and the carpet is dusty. I kept coughing and sneezing. this area is not safe for families a lot of homeless people roaming around the area.

Location was in midst of Union square and very close. Amenities are limited but commensurate to the charges.

This is a below average inn. The whole hotel smell really bad. I will not recommend unless your budget is tight. The location is good, near union square.

Rooms are old but clean. No air con and don't know how to turn off the heater. Excellent location.

For the price a good hotel however was in an area with a large homeless presence outside and there was also quite a lot of noise from outside

Hotel was conveniently located in union square area. Front desk staff are good and helpful. There must be a small pantry serving coffee. But missing

The elevator is broken which is a terrible condition to the hotel The service is good However phone does not work can’t even talk to concierge General room is clean , overall good for a night stay
