It is a truly special place. But it is not a 5 star as claimed, its just a 4 star and just for minor things that cheapen the experience. One thing that irked me is that they have a coffee machine in the room but one has to go downstairs and buy pods for $1.50 each. This is cheap, small TV, channel guide is not accurate or changed. Having a price list for said breakfast items as simple as oatmeal is also ludicrous and takes away from what should be exceptional for 5 stars the ambiance is wonderful as you feel as if you are staying in an art museum. Will stay again but do not expect a 5 star hotel. exceptional for

Really love this hotel. Amazing staff, location is good and quiet. Not far to get anywhere. Definitely a go-to spot near San José.

The room is very big, and the various statues and art paintings in the hotel lobby are very enjoyable. The hotel is clean and has complete facilities. The service is also very good. Even if you live on the first floor, the overall humidity will be heavier. The security of the hotel is still very good. It is in Xincheng and the transportation is convenient.

Very, very, very bad. I have never stayed in such a bad hotel. The customer said it was not worthy of his star rating at all. It was very, very bad. I wanted to check out on the same day. I rented it for three nights in total. I couldn't stay at all, but I just checked out. The last night's rent is non-refundable, and the second night's rent is non-refundable. The collection of Costa Rican art is impressive. Excellent attention. Excellent breakfast.

Beautiful hotel and amazing service. We had to leave at 3:30am to get to the airport. They made sure to organize our taxi and made a fresh pot of coffee and muffins for us.

Very artistic. Room was clean but missing some towels in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Not all staff were fluent in English but was not terrible. They do offer a shuttle but I would have skipped it if I knew Uber was available in the area ahead of the booking. Overrall, enjoyed my stay and they had free breakfast which was average.

We love the ambience of this hotel starting with the big tree at the front entrance and then all the jawdropping artwork throughout the hotel. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance to choose from. Buffet breakfast is included with the stay and is quite tasty. PriceSmart Santa Ana is nearby. The parking garage is under the hotel and very secure.

We appreciated the secure parking facility. The staff (I had first hand experience in the first 15 minutes with 2 front desk staff, 1 restaurant staff and a gentleman who helped us with our luggage. All were genuinely committed to making us feel welcome while assisting me with my Espanol.

Lovely property. Stayed 1 night for cancelled flight. Wish I had stayed here originally. In walking distance to restaurants, stores, gym. Nice walkable safe street.

The property was beautiful and loved the art! My room had a weird smell to it even though everything was neat and clean. I took a sanitizing wipe and wiped an area to confirm so i think it might have just been a smell from the AC unit or something. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Food was ok there, but better restaurants are near by within a 5 min walk. Overall i would recommend.

Comfortable, in a safe convenient location, beautifully decorated with interestng art pieces. Great food and service.

I would highly recommend this hotel, with the beautiful artwork that resembles an art gallery, the attentive and professional staff, the cleanliness and safety of the grounds, the quality rooms and very comfortable beds and the lovely breakfast. The neighboring restaurants are also excellent, the Tapas and the Andioma about a block away. We would definitely stay with them again!
