Hello This facility has hot spring facilities because it is by appointment only. Therefore, you need to apply in advance when you use it (refer to the front desk when you check in) . The usage time for each room is 1 hour exclusively for each room. At the same time, please note that the hotel rooms with room numbers (107) (106) (105)(103) need to use the public bathing area because they do not have a separate shower room. In principle, only showers are provided. If you need to use the hot spring, please Confirm with the staff according to the instructions above.

"The hotel is located in a picturesque place. The staff is helpful and pleasant. There are no shops nearby, but we were warned about this. They met us at the station and took us to the station! We recommend it to everyone who also cares about aesthetic pleasure!"

"I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely loved the Hachiman-no Wayo-shiki room type at KIRA-NO-SATO! Upon reaching the floor of our room, we had to take off our shoes and put them in a shoe cabinet, then walk barefoot to the room. If you're heading to the public bathhouse or just exploring the hotel, you can wear the geta (wooden clogs) provided by the shoe cabinet. The floors were incredibly clean; walking barefoot was very comfortable and not dirty at all. The room itself was spotless and spacious, not feeling old-fashioned in the slightest. In fact, it looked quite new. The shower room's design reminded me of a sauna, but it was very comfortable and clean. We didn't use the public bath. Instead, we showered in our room each time before grabbing the key for a private onsen. The 'Stone Craftsman' bath, made of stone, was a bit small; it felt a little cramped for two people. 'Bamboo Immortal' was made of wood (or perhaps bamboo, judging by the name?) and offered more space. 'Rock Seat' was more like a small swimming pool, the largest of the three private onsens, very spacious for two, and had the best overhead cover. The hotel front desk offered complimentary drinks, including sodas, coffee, and tea. The public bath area provided milk and coffee milk in the mornings, and lactic acid drinks and ice cream in the evenings. The building next to the front desk offered various refreshments at different times, such as green tea, local sweet potatoes, soba noodles, and oden. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle bus service to Izu-Kogen Station, though it stops running after 5:30 PM. After that, you'd have to walk. The walk from the station to the hotel is uphill with a significant incline, which can be tiring if you have luggage or many bags. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and polite! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Izu~"

"Service: 1. The Japanese gentleman running the place is incredibly welcoming. Besides Japanese, he also speaks English and a little Chinese. 2. My Japanese is only N3 level, so the owner was very patient, speaking slowly to make sure I understood. 3. The hotel offers free pick-up and drop-off service from the station. Since there's only one convenience store and supermarket between Izu Kogen and Jōgasaki Coast, the owner also organizes trips for guests who need to buy daily necessities. 4. If you want to visit tourist spots, you can also tell the owner, and he'll help drive you if he's available. Environment: The room was very clean, and even on a cloudy day, there was no damp smell. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied."

Additional features at this ryokan include complimentary wireless internet access, concierge services, and a vending machine. Take advantage of the ryokan's room service (during limited hours). "We were very satisfied with both the room and the service. I highly recommend booking a package that includes both breakfast and dinner to experience the full Japanese service. For families or couples, after checking in, you can use the in-room phone (dial 8) to reserve a 50-minute private family bath session with the front desk. (You might be able to get the key a bit earlier depending on availability.) The cost is about 1680 JPY, which is quite reasonable. Prices for additional drinks, meals, and SPA services are also within a sensible range. One thing to note is that the hotel is located halfway up a hill, so I don't recommend walking there if you have large luggage. You can contact the hotel in advance to inquire about shuttle bus options or take a taxi from Ito Station. If you absolutely must walk, do not follow Google Maps' route from Minami-Ito Station, as this path involves climbing stairs and going over a hill."

"Dog-friendly, and that's probably the most important characteristic. I've seen reviews from dog owners who weren't happy with something here and there. Hello, you can relax with your pet for a very reasonable price! Although if you want royal service, then yes, you need a different hotel. It's about 10 times more expensive. This one is quite basic. The exterior is worse than the interior. The hotel is several buildings connected by various passages, and in some places the exterior walls look a bit rundown, to put it mildly. But inside, it's clearly been completely renovated. All the walls are covered in drawings of dogs, which I was constantly captivated by. There are various public areas where you can sit, read, walk, and play with your dogs. Of course, there are hot springs. Not up to the standard of elite onsen, but an excellent plunge pool (there's a mini pool with cold water), clean changing rooms with everything you need (bring your own towels from your room), and yukatas at reception. I only met a couple of women there, so I relaxed perfectly without any hassle. The room is larger than standard economy rooms, with space for a pet. And there are plenty of essentials like bowls, diapers, and brushes. There's a kitchenette in the room. A balcony. A standard bathroom in the room. The location is good if you're driving. Volcan Omuro is nearby (a 30-minute walk) and the capybara zoo, or you can walk down to the coast. There are buses, but they don't run very frequently and stop about a 7-10-minute walk from the hotel. There are few pedestrian areas here; you walk along the road. And the constant changes in elevation are quite a workout. I'm a fan of hiking and exercise, so I wasn't particularly bothered by these walks, and even then, walking alongside the road with cars wasn't exactly a joy. But if you have your own transportation, this is an ideal option. It's quiet and peaceful, with soft music playing in the hallways... Oh yes, the hotel itself has a small shop with some supplies (including pet supplies, including some wonderful dog figurines), but if you need more groceries, the nearest shops aren't too close: either on the way to Futo Station (near the park) or closer to IzuKogen Station. There's a stunning cherry blossom street on the way to the latter. The tax is paid upon check-out."

"I came back in October and kept forgetting to leave a review. It's a very beautiful hot spring hotel with elegant decor. It's located on a small hill in Izu. The owners, a husband and wife, were very nice and we chatted a lot. They also have afternoon tea, a bar, and a private hot spring bath. The only downside is that it gets a bit dark on the way back to the hotel at night, but the owners provide flashlights and recommend nearby restaurants. They also offer pick-up service from the station if you're coming back in the evening. The Okinawan cuisine near the hotel is delicious!"
