Yokikan
"It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners. When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!"
Kameya-Rakan
"Convenient location to the Ito train station, nice tatami room with sea view The hotel staff are very friendly, helping me retrieve the belongings I've left behind after my room check out"
Mori no yu Kira No Sato 【Reopening on December 22, 2025】
"The room was spacious and the hot springs were great. They even offered free ramen as a late-night snack, which was a lifesaver since I couldn't find any open restaurants nearby in the evening. The only downside was the very limited shuttle service. I ended up having to drag my suitcase uphill to the hotel and then back down to the station the next morning, working up a sweat twice. I knew public transportation in Izu Kogen wasn't the best, but it was still a shame the shuttle wasn't more convenient."
Kamenoi Hotel Izukogen
"Hot spring is nice and the restaurant is good"
Izu Kougen Hanare Yado Yoshizumi (Kids 12 and under not allowed)
"The staff is very friendly and they try to accommodate our food diet request. Room is big and spacious and both osen is very comfortable."
Akazawa Onsen Hotel
"The downside was that my 5 PM dinner reservation was inexplicably changed to 7 PM. The hot springs were very comfortable though. The transportation was genuinely inconvenient. Oddly enough, I bumped into a celebrity, but unfortunately, I didn't recognize who it was. 😂😂😂"
Ito Kowakien
"I stayed at this hotel for one night from March 14th to 15th, 2026. I initially chose this hotel because its price was more attractive compared to other hot spring inns in Ito City. After check-in, I selected a yukata (light cotton robe) and toiletries before heading to my room. Complimentary hot coffee, tea, sparkling wine, and steamed buns were available next to the yukata, but unfortunately, the buns were sold out when I checked in, so I didn't get a chance to try them. The room was spacious and clean, and Japanese sweets were served on the table, which I enjoyed. The hot spring bath water flows directly from the hot spring, so I could enjoy soaking for most of my stay. I usually soaked twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. There are three different types of baths available: a warm water bath, a hot water bath, and an open-air bath. There's also a hot spring bath at the entrance where you can drink the water directly. Considering the hot spring, the room, the location, and the service, I would stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity to return to Ito City."
Hotel yoshino
"Excellent experience 👍 The staff, mostly elderly gentlemen and ladies, were incredibly gentle and polite, always greeting me when I came and went. There was a Chinese introduction available, and while I pointed out a few typos to the staff hoping for future corrections, it wasn't a major issue. The typical Japanese bedding was very clean. They even wiped down my suitcase upon entry, which was a nice touch. It was a really great experience, and I'd definitely choose this place again if I come back. I heard from the izakaya owner that their meals are also good, so I might try them next time."
Seizan Yamato
"Our first experience staying at a traditional hotel was a success! The room with its own outdoor hot spring exceeded expectations. Dinner and breakfast were amazing and varied. The staff was polite and friendly."

"The hosts were super friendly and welcomed in front of the alley to the hostel. They were kind and answering messages quickly. The hostel is located near the JR station so it was convenient. The neighbourhood is a small town; and not many restaurants or tourist spots located so I enjoyed the quiet night. The restaurants that the hosts recommended were Chuka food restaurant; Taiwan style foods were super cheap and delicious. I was travelling to Ito city but I felt that staying at a hostel one station from Ito Station was an excellent choice. I was heard that people mostly book from Airbnb app, and I am the trip.com user. Hope a lot more people can see this and book this warm welcoming hostel."
Hotel Ito Powell
"Perfect for a short stay."
Beach Commune Simploose (Adult Only)
"Great hotel with a great view and onsen"
Smart Stay ITO 301
"When I arrived, at 7 o'clock in the evening, the staff still helped open the apartment door, the service was very good, the surrounding supermarket seafood and Heniu were very good."
Abba Resorts Izu - Zagyosoh
"The hotel is located in a remote area. There seems to be nothing to consume around it except for the natural scenery. You can ask the hotel car to pick you up at the station when entering and leaving the hotel! The room is a bit old, maybe it was built a long time ago, but the environment and hot spring facilities are still very clean and comfortable! Worth experiencing!"
Kawana Hotel
"The room type and price are wrong"
Ito Ryokuyu
"If they can reserve the dinner for late arrival will be better"
Akazawa Geihinkan
"The best quality of onsen water and spa"
Ito Onsen Otonashi No Moiri Ryokufuen
"Very good and satisfying experience! The room was clean and the waiter was very professional!"
Ito Villa-TOKI-
"The reason why I chose Ito Villa is that it is clean, the environment is tidy, and the rooms are clean. There are cars from the hotel to the subway station twice a day. The service is good and I like it."
Toushinan Komeya
"From the moment I entered the room, I could often hear something like the sound of a noisy train, and especially when I was resting in bed, it echoed on the wall above me, making it difficult to rest at all. In the end, it turned out to be the sound from the sliding door of the private dining room, and it had been going on from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and from 7:00 AM. It was a very disappointing stay. Tired and taking a bath? I didn't even go there. The food menu looks delicious, but the chef who decides the taste was probably absent? The only thing that was delicious was a small piece of mentaiko. I liked the Kyoritsu inn in Hakodate, but the quality of the accommodation varies."
TangWu
"This B&B is amazing, absolutely covered in beautiful plants and flowers – it's my dream home! Even though it was overcast when I visited, it was still incredibly beautiful. The owners are Chinese and were so enthusiastic about recommending nearby attractions and giving tips on the best routes to save time and distance. They offer a pick-up and drop-off service from the station, just make sure to let them know in advance. After checking in, you can also ask the owner about breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Since they need to prepare ingredients beforehand, it's essential to let them know if you'd like to eat there. The food was not only delicious but also very filling. Breakfast felt like a full course meal! During my stay, it was also the season for bamboo shoot buns, which were fantastic. I definitely want to go back again!"
Izu One Club
"A very, very good experience. The front desk lady was very nice and welcoming, and was especially nice to us. The shuttle was also very convenient, and the driver was punctual. The hotel has a microwave, but no food service, so remember to bring your own food when you return home in the evening and leave in the morning. Overall, it was a very good experience. If you visit, be sure to contact the front desk in advance to arrange a shuttle. They can send a car to pick you up at Izu Kogen Station for 1,000 yen per trip. I personally think it's very affordable."
Villa FUN Kawana
"Its a nice place to stay with good view. Only point to note that bathroom is shared bath so if you cant accept it then reconsider before you book."
Episode IZU
"It was a wonderful time at this hotel, I spent 4 nights and the room was prepared in the best possible way. The owners of the hotel are wonderful people. they helped me with all the questions. The hotel provides a free shuttle service upon check-in and check-out. and one evening we found ourselves at the station late at night and the hotel owner was nearby and kindly offered to take us to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel by location for tourists without a car. There is also a wonderful private Onsen here - it's a pleasure to relax there every evening! I will be glad to come back here again. 😊"
