Omuro No Mori Gyokusui -Adult Only-
"The pillow is not good."
Yokikan
"It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners. When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!"

"everything was great"
Izu Kougen Hanare Yado Yoshizumi (Kids 12 and under not allowed)
"amazing service, food and experience overall. highly recommend"
Laforet Ito Onsen Yunoniwa
"The staff is very friendly. The thermal spring in the room is very clean and convenient. The room is clean and cozy. One can also experience Japanese Futon which is very interesting."
Hanafubuki Ryokan
"Nestled in quietness. The owners were also very friendly. Mostly foreigner customers."
Kameya-Rakan
"Location was convenient, very near the train/bus station. Concierge staff was able to converse in basic english which made it way easier for us and they were all very nice. The room was so spacious and the view from our room was amazing!!! It was actually peaceful to just sit and stare out of the window. The toilet was spacious enough too. We did not use the onsens avail in the hotel but they also had a family onsen room that was free for use for anyone as long as its available and it works just like a private onsen, but free! I absolutely loved our room and would definitely recommend & also hope to return someday 💕"
Kamenoi Hotel Izukogen
"Incredible hotel, stunning view, morden facilities, excellent dinner."
Akazawa Onsen Hotel
"The view is amazing once we arrive at the lobby for check in. Outdoor onsen is a bonus, amazing experience and we had a good night stay."

Hotel Himalaya Sea
"The environment is quite good, suitable for families."
Hotel Dankoen
"The location is not too close to the station, need a around 10-mins walk. The onsen is good. The staff are nice and helpful. Generally a very traditional Japanese hotel with tatami."
Hotel Ito Powell
"The room faces the sea and is very large. It has a double bed and a tatami. When I arrived on the first morning, I sat on the bed and watched the sunrise. I was very touched by the service. I enjoyed hot spring baths every day and lived a comfortable life. It is close to Ito Station and the route is convenient. There is a Yokoji Line in front of the hotel. Turn left and there is a McDonald's. Turn right. 7-11 and a large supermarket and duty-free shop"
Smart Stay ITO 301
"When I arrived, at 7 o'clock in the evening, the staff still helped open the apartment door, the service was very good, the surrounding supermarket seafood and Heniu were very good."
Abba Resorts Izu - Zagyosoh
"The room is very big and comfortable. The view is also very good. Everything is perfect. There are Chinese service and butlers. The station is free for pick-up. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are very good. Eat until you are full. The chef will come out to greet you. The hot spring water is a little too hot. The children can't get down. The service is also very good. There is welcome tea and dessert. Everything is very exquisite"
Akazawa Geihinkan
"The best quality of onsen water and spa"
Ito Ryokuyu
"The hotel facilities are a bit old and the hot spring pool is a bit small. The service is very thoughtful, and the price-performance ratio is average compared to other hot spring hotels, except for breakfast."
Toushinan Komeya
"The room received a low rating. The size, cleanliness, and neatness of the room were fine, but there was a constant noise of feet stepping on the floor. The kitchen was next door, so it was unclear whether the sound was from employees or from the room above. Also, light from the hallway filtered in through the shoji screen by the bed, preventing complete darkness when I went to bed and making my sleep shallow. I checked in in the evening, and the fluorescent lights were on, so I didn't realize it, but the room barely let in any sunlight. It wasn't until I realized that the room was designed to let in light from the hallway unless the fluorescent lights were turned on at 9 a.m. that it was pitch black. There was a bay window and another window, but the exterior was covered to prevent visibility from outside and to prevent the main building's external piping from being seen, which was why no light was allowed in. The open-air bath in the room was nice, but the insect repellent installation method needs to be reconsidered. The large public bath, both indoors and outdoors, was too hot to bathe in. I tried massaging the water, but it didn't help. The portion size for dinner seemed small, but I think that's because the rice dish you could choose to have cooked in was served in a rice bowl rather than in a rice container. On the other hand, breakfast was served in a rice container and you could have more rice, so I was full. It was my first time trying the Yonaki Soba noodles served at Dormy Inn, and it was delicious. Overall, it was a nice inn except for the room, but I would never stay in that room again."
Ito Yukitei
"Extremely clean, friendly staff, has 2 private hot spring rooms, needs reservations which was so peace and quiet, we really enjoyed it! Didn’t have time to try the public hot spring rooms as we only get to stay for 1 night, but really good hotel, highly recommended."
Wan Wan Paradise Izukogen
"The hotel where Japanese people bring their dogs for vacation is a bit old and the facilities are quite old"
Seizan Yamato
"Seizan Yamato offers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food is truly delicious, with every dish showcasing remarkable freshness and quality ingredients. Each bite feels thoughtfully prepared, highlighting both flavor and presentation. What elevates the experience even further is the outstanding service. The staff are attentive, warm, and professional, making you feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit."
Floral Hotel · Sakura-zaka Onsen (Izu Kogen Omuroyama)
"Located in a quiet villa area, it's about a 1300 JPY taxi ride from Izu Kogen. I didn't check the bus schedule, but I imagine there aren't many services, so it's more suitable for those traveling by car. The room I booked with a shower was quite convenient and spacious. However, as it's in a mountainous, forested area, you might occasionally encounter small insects."
LiVEMAX RESORT IZUKOGEN ANNEX
"We booked this Japanese-style tatami hotel for the night of the Atami Fireworks Festival. It's a bit out of the way, but very quiet. For those without a car, it's a long walk from Izu after the bus ride. Even though we arrived late, someone was waiting for us at the front desk; you just need to inform Ctrip customer service beforehand. The rooms don't have showers; you have to use the onsen (hot spring). It's a standard Japanese tatami design. The entire hotel is pet-friendly, so many people brought their dogs, which were adorable and I really liked the atmosphere. Breakfast was also Japanese-style, but it was cold, so I personally didn't enjoy it. The service was quite good."
TangWu
"Honestly a perfect stay! They offered us free pick up/drop off services from the train station. The breakfast was nourishing and filling and well priced. The offer a western or Chinese style breakfast! The hosts were really lovely and the house was beautiful and comfortable. The area was incredibly beautiful and such a nice surprise! Would be ideal to have an electric bicycle or a car as the area is very hilly! But we managed just on foot! Highly recommend!"
Tokyu Vacations Izukogen
"Great place, modern, large apartments, great onsen."
SKY-HILL HOTEL IZUKOUGEN
"The moment we arrived, we received gifts for the kids right away. The view from the room is amazing. They have a beautiful onsen and the breakfast is good."
Episode IZU
"Chill and quiet, beautiful scenery as well"
Tsuki No Usagi
"A hot spring inn with few online reviews but surprisingly delightful. I drove there; parking was available, and as soon as I arrived, the staff rushed out to greet me and help with my luggage. Each room is separated by a bamboo path, ensuring excellent privacy. Each room also has a private open-air hot spring bath, and the Japanese-style rooms are spacious with two floors. The food included with the two meals was plentiful, featuring seasonal goldeneye snapper and Ise eel, all of which were delicious. The most satisfying aspect was the view; soaking in the hot spring while overlooking the sea, and you can also watch the sunrise."
