Yokikan ★★★
"Thank u for everything! The hotel was wonderful. I have relaxed very much in onsen.the view was on the ocean. It was the great holiday in my life! I highly recommend it."
Kawana Hills ★★★
"The house was lovely, but the toilet wasn't great, and there was no electric kettle (I'm not good at using gas). However, the service was excellent, the view was beautiful, and the owners were very kind and helpful; they even offered to take me to the station, which was very touching."
Akazawa Onsen Hotel ★★★★
"Really good facility, I wasn’t able to use all as there are just too many things to do in 2 days! Very good onsen and spa experience, also great lounge for reading thousands of books."
Ito Kowakien ★★★★
"offer ito station pick up from 2-6pm and drop off by 10am. not comfortable to make bed in japanese style room"
Mori no Yu Izu Kogen Kira no Sato [Renewal Opening: December 22, 2025] ★★★★★
"This was my second stay, and the breakfast and dinner options haven't changed much from before – still excellent. The seating arrangement, however, was noticeably better this time. The staff were all very welcoming and enthusiastic. The environment is peaceful, making it perfect for a getaway. The hot springs are also great, especially the three private onsen rooms."
YU-FURI IZUKOGEN ★★★★
"This time I chose to stay in the annex. The decoration is a bit older, but the room is really big. There is a built-in kitchen where you can cook your own meals. However, the check-in time is limited, so remember to pay attention."
Floral Hotel · Sakura-zaka Onsen (Izu Kogen Omuroyama) ★★★★
"Our stay here exceeded all expectations – incredible value for money! The hotel has a charming ambiance and is super close to Mount Omuro. The on-site hot spring was a lifesaver after a long day of sightseeing, really helping to ease our fatigue. But what truly set this place apart was the exceptional service from the owner. They were incredibly responsive to all our requests, and their attention to detail was outstanding. For example, when it suddenly started pouring rain one morning and we couldn't easily get around, the owner proactively drove us to our destination. Then, when we checked out, they personally drove us to the train station. With beautiful scenery, convenient access, and such impeccable hospitality, it was a truly stress-free and heartwarming experience. Highly, highly recommend!"
Episode IZU ★★★
"It is a 5-minute drive from Fuhu Station. If you have luggage, you can ask the hotel boy to pick you up. The room is quite big. The boss and his wife were very friendly and gave me a lot of advice and help on my trip. Very good experience!"
Kameya-Rakan ★★★
"The hot spring on the sixth floor was very comfortable; remember to bring your own towel – don't ask me how I know! We booked a Japanese-style room, and the bed was a bit firm. The elderly gentleman at the front desk was very polite. There's a McDonald's within 500 meters, and the railway station is a five-minute walk. Good value for money, recommended."

"The hosts were super friendly and welcomed in front of the alley to the hostel. They were kind and answering messages quickly. The hostel is located near the JR station so it was convenient. The neighbourhood is a small town; and not many restaurants or tourist spots located so I enjoyed the quiet night. The restaurants that the hosts recommended were Chuka food restaurant; Taiwan style foods were super cheap and delicious. I was travelling to Ito city but I felt that staying at a hostel one station from Ito Station was an excellent choice. I was heard that people mostly book from Airbnb app, and I am the trip.com user. Hope a lot more people can see this and book this warm welcoming hostel."
Hotel Ito Powell
"The location is very good, 5 minutes walk from the station, opposite McDonald's and a local fruit shop. The concierge will wait for you at the door with a list, and speaks fluent English. I didn't order a meal, so I went to eat the barbecue that Usami Lonely Gourmet checked in. I booked a sea view room for less than 800, on the 3rd floor, on the same floor as the restaurant, and there was a smell of food in the corridor... The room is huge, with a mud room entrance, a simple kitchen in the corridor (the stove is sealed), a dressing table in the corridor, and a Japanese-style room. The balcony has no obstruction to the sea view, and I can imagine the prosperity of the bubble economy era. The facilities are now very broken 😂, but they are all clean and usable... At night, the sea breeze makes the aluminum alloy sliding door clang, and with the sound of the waves, the bathroom is patched with tape, and the wall is cracked. The public bath is on the basement floor, and the outdoor pool can see the sea view."
Hotel Himalaya Sea
"very clean satisfy"
Smart Stay ITO 301
"When I arrived, at 7 o'clock in the evening, the staff still helped open the apartment door, the service was very good, the surrounding supermarket seafood and Heniu were very good."
Abba Resorts Izu - Zagyosoh
"Except for one Japanese waiter with bad attitude, the rest are good"
Toushinan Komeya
"Two days and one night stay, Japanese-style room with two beds in the main building, with a semi-open-air bath, dinner and breakfast included, for two people. The hotel is a little hard to find. If you are using a car navigation system, make sure you look for the sign for the guest parking lot, "Ito-shi Sakuragaoka 2-chome 4-13," or the sign on the electric pole from Minami-Ito Station. When you arrive at the parking lot, someone will be there to guide you to your parking space. While you are there, a waitress will come and help you with your luggage, but since the hotel is on a hill, it can be a bit daunting to have heavy luggage carried for you. The hotel is located in a residential area, so the entrance is It is not visible from the parking lot, and its appearance is more like a traditional Japanese inn than a hotel, and it has a dignified atmosphere. After entering, we took off our shoes and went up to a Japanese-style room with a cypress counter. We checked in and enjoyed matcha tea and sweets, and took a break. The room was on the second floor and we were moved by elevator, but we had to go down a few stairs to get to the main building. The room was quite spacious for two people, and the waitress explained that there was a disaster kit to take out in case of a disaster. There was also emergency water in the toilet. We also went to the large public bath, which was open and spacious. After bathing, we were given a drink. We ate what was on hand. The drinks were different in the evening and in the morning. They would call us when the meal was ready. The menu for the private dining room changes monthly, but we were able to choose one of five dishes as a token of appreciation, and one of three dishes for the meal. We had both hot and cold dishes, and there was a fair amount of food, so we were full and delicious. They offered us some midnight noodles in the evening, but we were too full so we gave up. The hot spring in our room was a little warm, so we were able to stay in for a long time. It was quiet, probably because it was surrounded by trees, and we could occasionally hear the sound of trains in the distance. Breakfast was served in the same place, starting at 8:00, but they made an effort to accommodate (we wanted to leave earlier). The freshly cooked rice was delicious, and we could choose as many as we wanted from four side dishes, and we were told we could have seconds. There was grilled fish, but it was really tasty when heated on a charcoal grill. On our way back, we checked out at the front desk and had our luggage carried to the parking lot. It was a rare Japanese-style inn, with staff in kimonos these days. Recommended for those who want to relax and enjoy high-quality service and hot springs."
Kawana Hotel
"Good service Great view Large room Good facilities Clean room "
Ito Ryokuyu
"The room was very nice, and the drinks in the refrigerator were free. The service was very good, and I received a small gift at the end. It was a very good stay. I went to Izu and Hakone. The location of this hotel is also good."
Southern Cross Resort
"I stayed here while on a golf trip. Located on high ground near Mt. Komuro, from the window of my room you can see Mt. Fuji in the distance, with the golf course stretching out below. I stayed in a twin room for single use. As you'd expect from a resort, the room was spacious and relaxing. There was also a hot spring, and although I had pain in my joints the day before, I soaked in the hot spring, and the pain was gone the next day, which I thought was the effect of the hot spring. I didn't have meals because the timing wasn't right. It was a room only with hot springs, and I think it's a reasonable price for this area."
Hotel yoshino
"Followed the navigation for about ten minutes to get there. You take off your shoes at the entrance and change into slippers before entering. Check-in was smooth with instructions in Chinese. We quickly confirmed the dinner and breakfast times and locations. We chose to have it in our room, and they called beforehand to confirm if we were ready. After eating, we just put the dishes back in the box and left it outside the door. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The portions were also very generous. They offer luggage storage. We went to the hot springs both in the evening and in the morning – so relaxing! Of course, we paid the hot spring tax when checking out. Highly recommend."
Hoshino Resorts Kai Anjin
"A little expensive but they do provide food amenities and service. The onsen was good. The meals were pretty good too, and was beautifully presented and well curated."
Luxury Wa Hotel Kaze No Kaori
"I've been interested in this inn for a while, and finally got the chance to stay. It's nice to have this many rooms. It's not noisy and you can relax. There are ocean views from all areas, from the terrace to the room. Wonderful. I was also happy to be able to drink sparkling wine lol. However, it is definitely a private open-air bath. You can enjoy the spectacular view and the spring water is of good quality. But it's a shame that there is only one. There is no large public bath, so the other one needs to be a little more appealing. The open-air bath in the room was nice, though. It was a bit disappointing. Overall, the staff were kind and polite, the food was delicious, and I enjoyed the karaoke and all-you-can-drink options. Thank you for your help."
Kamenoi Hotel Izukogen
"Near to Jogasaki Coast"
TangWu
"How do I describe my first impression of Tangoya? When we arrived, the owner picked us up at Izu Kogen Station and immediately took us to Mount Omuro to start our sightseeing. They even took our luggage back to the hotel, allowing us to enjoy a wonderfully relaxed afternoon at Mount Omuro and the Izu Animal Park. Stepping into Tangoya for the first time, I was immediately drawn to the building itself – so cozy, clean, and tidy. The furniture and design details truly showed the thoughtfulness of the hosts. Everywhere you looked was spotless. In the evening, during the blue hour, seeing the lights in our room gave us such a warm feeling, even being in a foreign country. Tangoya definitely played a huge part in our wonderful Izu experience. We had a great night's rest, and the breakfast we ordered for the next day also reflected the owner's careful planning. When it was time to leave, they even took our luggage to Jogasaki Kaigan Station, making our onward journey incredibly smooth. (Eating dinner in Tokyo tonight, we're flying home tomorrow. Wishing the owners all the best and a happy life. We hope to visit again someday!)"
Isola Izukogen
"It's about half an hour's walk from Izu-Kogen Station, which is quite inconvenient if you don't have a car. The hotel is quite comfortable, and it's a 20-minute walk from the bus station and convenience store of Mount Omuro. The room I booked did not have an independent bathroom. I had to go to the hot spring area on the first floor to shower. There are two hot spring pools on the first floor."
Joyinn
"The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was very nice and spoke English and understood a little Chinese. There was a shuttle service available."
