Blossom House Shanghai On The Bund

We have a wonderful stay in Blossom The Bund for 4 nights, my parents like this place very much and they provided a lot of hotel activities and their breakfast tastes superb! Super clean and the well hospitality! You can see the 东方明珠 and other Shanghai iconic building from the window! Definitely will stay here again!

First of all, I want to commend all the staff at Blossom House Shanghai. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always very willing to help with a smile. This was unfortunately not the experience I had in other hotels in China. The staff from the doorman at the entrance to the reception staff, the cleaning ahyis to the tour guide who took us around, everyone was always professional and helpful. I had several parcels arrive and the hotel took care of them and even sent them to my room with a smile. When I pass one of the cleaning staff on the way to my room they would welcome me back and ask if I've eaten. Proper Chinese hospitality. The room we had was huge and well thought out. Especially loved the automated toilet. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious, smooth and soft. The first couple of nights our room was very hot (the AC didn't seem to function, or rather was sending out heat instead of cool air) - upon informing the reception, they rectified it as soon as they could and upgraded us to a room with a balcony so we could get some fresh air in. Top marks for listening to your guests. Our family also enjoyed the little extras they included for hotel guests, like free walking tours, traditional craft workshops, a free makeup and photoshoot, and the nightly sweet soups. We didn't have enough time to join all their activities but what we did experience made our shanghai trip richer. Location of Blossom House was also top notch. 5 mins to the bund, 5 mins to Yuyuan and the metro, which was one stop away from nanjing donglu. It was easy to grab didis as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in shanghai. Please send a note of thanks to all your staff over the past days. Great location near the subway and must see attractions like the Yu Garden and City God temple! The rooms are spacious and big! Get a room with a bathtub and you will not regret It! The only downside was that at the time of our stay the sky bar was closed for renovation. Apart from that everything was perfect! I only wish I had stayed more than 2 nights!

Great hotel! Recommended for families and couples. Staff are extremely helpful and patient. The daily sightseeing activities were interesting and enjoyable. George and Lily were amazing! Max and Domi were very efficient in helping with our room reservation 😀

Great hotel in great location! Worth taking a room with balcony and Yuyuan Garden. Rich breakfast. Near by Yuyuan Garden subway station — extremely convenient to get Lujiazui or Xintiandi, not to mention the Bund and Yuyuan Garden. Highly recommended!
