The B&B is located in the northwest of Dukezong City, about ten minutes' walk from the north gate. It is very quiet at night. The key is that there is a yard for parking, which is very convenient for self-driving.

Located at the north gate of the ancient city, about a 15-minute walk, the room was average except for the soundproofing. The housekeeper had to send a WeChat message to the owner, who said they only opened the room for cleaning after receiving the guest's permission. They only emptied the trash can and replaced the toilet paper, leaving the rest of the paper on the table and floor untouched, and the bed unmade. Shangri-La's nights in August are quite dry, so when we went out during the day, we suggested the housekeeper open the windows for ventilation and add another table to the room. The landlady was very aloof and wouldn't even greet us when we met her on the street, acting as if she didn't know us. Stay in a B&B if you can afford a hotel.

However, it would have been nice if the toilet had a separate door. It's a bit of a walk from the old town, but there are supermarkets and pharmacies nearby, which is convenient.
