VON Hotel Wanhé, Shenzhen Nanshan The MixC

The room was decent, even though it was on the first floor. However, as a first-time guest, I received an upgrade to a premium twin room. A big shout-out to the front desk staff; they were incredibly polite and accommodating. The highlight of my stay was definitely the spacious shower and strong water pressure, making for an incredibly comfortable bathing experience. Coupled with the comfortable smart toilet, my main concerns for a pleasant stay – showering and using the restroom – were both perfectly met. To be honest, the hotel was a bit pricey. However, in Shenzhen, which isn't a cheap city to begin with, this hotel was a carefully chosen option that offered great value for money. That said, I really hope I don't get a first-floor room next time, even if it's an upgrade! The provided toothbrush, mouthwash, and toothpaste were all of good quality, and the disposable slippers were thick and sturdy. These thoughtful touches left a good impression and somewhat justified the price. There was some dust in certain areas of the room, so cleanliness could use a bit more attention to detail. I didn't take any photos (apologies for the lack of visuals), but I needed to upload one for points.

The location is super convenient, right by the subway station. The accommodation environment was very quiet, and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The kitchenette and washer-dryer combo are perfect for couples and families on longer stays. Plus, the in-room movie experience was excellent!

Both the housekeeping staff and the front desk personnel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only minor downside was that the coffee in the common area was a bit too sweet.

We booked a windowless room, which was a decent size. The in-room washer and dryer were a huge plus. There was also a kids' play area, and our baby had a blast there. The service was excellent; we even left an item behind, and they kindly allowed us to return and pick it up. The breakfast selection was very varied, but honestly, it wasn't very tasty. Even the coffee and milk were instant, powdered varieties.

Back from Guangzhou, I decided to stay at Von Hotel again. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the hotel facilities were very convenient, truly making it feel like a home away from home this time. It's super easy to get food delivery and do online grocery shopping in the area. Even if you're short on time, you can order souvenirs online and have them delivered directly to the hotel. The convenience is just unbeatable!

I rarely go out of my way to leave a positive review for a hotel, but this one truly deserves it. We checked in quite late, and the front desk upgraded our room. What's more, they didn't even ask us to leave a review; this positive feedback is purely based on our excellent overall experience. The hotel also features an outdoor relaxation area and a gym. Moreover, having a trash can right on the desk in the room was a very thoughtful touch. It's also very accommodating for business travelers, with a dedicated workspace and an ergonomic office chair. Overall, it's genuinely impressive.
