"I'm very particular about hotel cleanliness, and BoYing was absolutely spotless. The room's thoughtful design instantly lifted my mood. The hotel's food was also abundant and delicious; my kids and parents ate until they were stuffed! Most importantly, I have to commend the hotel's front desk and the shuttle bus security guard. Every time we left, the security guard treated us like family, showing meticulous care, never minding getting dirty or tired, and was always very polite. The front desk ladies were always reachable to solve any issues and enthusiastically helped the elderly and children whenever there were inconveniences. This hotel deserves high praise for its environment, gourmet food, and overall humanistic atmosphere. I'll definitely book here again if I have the chance."

"Our stay was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and lovely. We had a gorgeous view of mountains from a panoramic window ⛰️ there is everything you need in the room. The food is delicious 🍱 and the breakfast is included!
The owner was extremely sweet and helpful! It was our first stay in China and the experience was delightful ❤️ she gave us really good recommendations, helped with any booking we needed and even escorted to the singing cave herself. She literally did everything she could for us ❤️
Also, location is super convenient if you want to go to the singing cave (must see! It’s magical) . It’s about 7 minutes walk! The city centre is 20 minutes away by car 🚘"

BBLACK.WThe room design is simple and cozy, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The mattress is just the right firmness, which significantly improved my sleep quality! The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, the hot water supply is stable, and the toiletries are of good quality. The Wi-Fi is fast, and the transportation is convenient. There's also a parking lot, and restaurants are right downstairs. The rooftop view is amazing for photos! It's just a few minutes' walk to West Street. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it!!! Great value for money!!

HHuijiadetuanziThe room was spacious, and the hotel's location near Ten-Mile Gallery is super convenient for getting around. It's right on the main street, so you'll want to keep the door closed at night to block out the noise. The in-room facilities are quite new, and the toiletries provided are decent. However, some of the common areas, like the 'Yangshuo Eye' attraction, the swimming pool, and the kids' play area, are a bit dated and could use some renovation and cleaning. The staff were all very friendly, always greeting me and wishing me goodnight. The complimentary nightly dessert was a lovely and delicious touch, showing they genuinely care about their guests. They offer electric scooter rentals, but I'd suggest they tweak their wording a bit. When I rented one, the staff member said, 'This can only go 30km, it's 30 yuan, and you have to ride it back.' While their attitude was perfectly fine and not accusatory, a slightly softer approach would make guests feel even more comfortable.

Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and all the basic amenities were thoughtfully provided.
One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable.
She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place.
If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱
A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby.
Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings.
Overall, this spot is a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and character. Highly recommended for laid-back travelers, art lovers, and cat fans alike!

At night, the lights reflected in the water transform it into a starlit pool, perfect for photos and a lively atmosphere. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful; upon check-in, fresh fruit and welcome tea were immediately provided, and they were always available when called.
The guest rooms feature smart home technology throughout, allowing you to control appliances with your voice. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can enjoy stunning views of the peaks and the sunset glow right from your bed. The ground-floor mountain forest leisure area is surrounded by greenery, a peaceful spot to enjoy tea, read a book, and observe the natural scenery, spending a leisurely afternoon.
The rooftop cafe offers expansive views, perfect for enjoying coffee while overlooking the Yulong River's landscapes. In the morning, the buffet breakfast offers a wide selection of both meat and vegetarian options, as well as Chinese and Western dishes. It's also close to several attractions, and it's quiet at night. The service was thoughtful and excellent. We had a lot of rain these past two days, and many people were washing clothes, so the washing machines were overwhelmed. The staff even helped wash and dry our clothes, and they were placed outside our door by the time we woke up in the morning. Breakfast was decent too, with freshly made signature Guilin rice noodles and wontons. If you're exploring the area, this hotel is definitely worth recommending.

GGuest UserSugarhouse Yangshuo is a true gem. Pls keep up the good work and don't lose the standards. Beautiful place, so scenic and private. Beautiful pool with view of Li river. Good breakfast and amenities. Facility is well kept. Staff are so accommodating, helpful and nice. Realised many are students! Lucy, Yuki. Cindy, Sarah and the drivers as well as staff at the restaurants are all fantastic. The daily check ins via wechat are thoughtful. Shower pressure and temp are great! Love seeing the bunny and pair of ducks around the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. They patiently answered all our questions and helped us save a lot of time. There's a beautiful rooftop viewing deck on the eighth floor, which is especially stunning for photos in the evening. The breakfast is abundant and served until 11 AM, which is a blessing for late sleepers like us. The hotel also has many facilities for entertainment, such as a kids' play area, Ludo, and Gobang. It's really enjoyable to stay in and play a board game when you don't feel like going out. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

LLvxingfashaoyouxiongbaobaoGuilin Shangri-La, I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love it!! Is Guilin Shangri-La old? No! While it's a bit older, every single facility is incredibly well-maintained! And the food? Even better!
Perhaps my experience is limited, but my 6-year-old and I have traveled to 129 cities, and the variety and taste of the food in Guilin Shangri-La's Horizon Club (executive lounge) are super, super, super abundant!!
The breakfast is also fantastic, and the Chinese food at Shang Palace is too!!! We stayed here for three days and ate our way through the entire Shangri-La from top to bottom!!
The spa, gym, and pool are all super, super excellent!
Big shout-out and praise to Ivan Yang from F&B, Linda Zhang from the Health Club, and Daisy Chen from the Horizon Club!! They were all absolutely, absolutely wonderful!!!
