"Nanyuan Hotel is basically my top choice when I return to Ningbo for ancestral worship. This old five-star hotel consistently maintains its high standards. This time, I purchased a fantastic deal from Ctrip: a 399-yuan package for a business floor room with breakfast, and I stayed for two nights. Upon arrival, the bespectacled front desk staff (I forgot her employee ID) upgraded me to a deluxe king room in the main building. Overall, Nanyuan's service is excellent. I personally feel that the breakfast quality has slightly declined, with fewer options than before, but I was very satisfied with the room itself. I could even call myself an 'old Nanyuan patron,' as it has been my preferred hotel every year since it opened when I come back to Ningbo."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, close to all the main attractions. Our room was spotless, the bedding was clean, and all the basic amenities were there. The river view from Sanjiangkou at night was absolutely beautiful. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. What really stood out was the cheerful young woman at the entrance to the breakfast restaurant ā her smile was so sweet! And the young man who helped us move our luggage when we switched rooms was very observant and proactive. Check-in and check-out were both efficient. The soundproofing was decent; we weren't significantly disturbed during the night. Overall, the experience met our expectations and offered good value for money. It's suitable for a short business trip or a family vacation. The shower pressure was amazing ā so refreshing! We later switched to a connecting room, which was perfect for traveling with elders and children. We'd definitely consider staying here again on our next visit."

GGuest UserThe hotel's facilities and environment are quite good, but the service severely falls short of the price. I didn't experience much service at all. There were more managers than service staff. As a consumer, I paid a premium for the service on Chinese New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, but there was absolutely no service to speak of. The management team outnumbered the servers; they just stood there giving orders instead of providing service. We had to pay a deposit for dinner and were given a strict dining time, yet after waiting for over an hour, not all the dishes had even arrived. The ice-cold egg tart made me wonder if it was a hotel specialty. A bunch of managers stood around pointing fingers, but not one of them noticed the service issues, leaving all customer complaints to a group of temporary staff. I came here to relax and enjoy the Spring Festival with my kids, not to find hotel problems and experience workplace politics.

GGuest UserStaying at the Sheraton Ninghai this time, I felt a sense of home from the moment I walked in, and I particularly want to commend the front desk service.
Brisa made an excellent first impression during check-in. She maintained a bright smile throughout, was very efficient, and not only completed the procedures quickly but also proactively introduced me to the hotel's facilities and breakfast times. The whole process was both efficient and friendly.
Yumiko demonstrated the front desk's attentiveness and thoughtfulness. When I inquired about nearby attractions in the lobby, she not only answered patiently but also provided a map, instantly giving me a sense of direction as a first-time visitor.
Daisy's service was equally impressive. During check-out, she meticulously reviewed the bill, proactively asked if I had driven and helped register my license plate, and didn't forget to remind me about the changing weather and to stay safe as I left.
The front desk, with their genuine smiles and professional service, truly made me feel right at home. The hardware facilities are on par with a high-quality new hotel, but what truly touched me was such a warm service team. Next time I'm in Ninghai, this will definitely still be my first choice!

GGuest UserI booked this hotel on Ctrip in advance for my May Day holiday trip to Hangzhou Bay, and it turned out to be excellent value for money. We checked in that afternoon. A month prior, I had arranged with the hotel to have all our rooms on the same floor, but upon check-in, some family members still ended up on a different floor than us. This might have been due to the high occupancy during the May Day holiday. The rooms aren't large, but they have everything you need. The only minor drawback was that some facilities were a bit broken, possibly because of the sudden high occupancy, but the hotel's engineering team promptly came to inspect and repair them. Overall, I'd still recommend this hotel. The breakfast was decent, and I commend the hotel for implementing staggered entry for the large crowds. All in all, I recommend staying here! It's very close to all the major attractions, and the staff's service attitude was absolutely fantastic ā kudos to them!

MmzwuThe hotel is not far from Hanling Old Street, and it's a pleasant stroll there. I arrived around 12:00, but the room wasn't ready yet, so I left my luggage and went out for a bite to eat. At 14:00, they called to say the room still wasn't ready, so they kindly upgraded us to a family suite, which was a nice surprise! š The hot springs were incredibly clean, and there were many pools, which I really liked. In the evening, they offered complimentary 'goodnight milk,' and there were welcome fruits in the room upon arrival. While the hotel facilities are indeed a bit dated, the service is excellent. I raised a minor issue, and before checking out, the front office manager proactively called me and even gave us a souvenir. The exceptional service definitely made up for the older facilities. I would choose to stay here again next time I visit Ningbo.

GGuest UserEvery time I visit Dongqian Lake, I used to stay at the Park Hyatt, but this time I tried the Cordis and absolutely fell in love with it! The surrounding area and the hotel's own scenery are stunning. It's a short walk to the lake, and although you need a shuttle to get to and from the main building, it arrives so quickly that it's no inconvenience at all. Our concierge, Winnie, was incredibly quick to respond and resolve any issues, and even upgraded our room type. The breakfast was a little underwhelming, but I will definitely be back to this hotel.

On cloudy days, the mountains are shrouded in mist, like living in a fairyland. On sunny days, the bamboo forests are vibrant green and distant mountains stretch endlessly, a feast for the eyes. Taking deep breaths in the mountains truly cleanses your lungs and relaxes you, leaving the city's hustle and bustle far behind. The balcony is your private viewing platform; enjoying fruit and sun while gazing at the mountain view is so delightful you won't want to leave. The infinity pool offers stunning photo opportunities, perfect for travel shots.

The private hot spring in the room is incredibly comfortable. Soaking in the spring while admiring the mountain view washes away all fatigue. The JBL speaker delivers great sound, enhancing the atmosphere. Breakfast is rich and delicious, with both local flavors and Western options available. Eating breakfast while overlooking the valley is incredibly therapeutic. The hotel shuttle is always on call, and service at every point is super thoughtful, ensuring a worry-free experience.

QQingshuixianshengWhile there are many luxury resorts around the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, very few genuinely entice my family and me to return repeatedly. However, the picturesque Park Hyatt Ningbo, nestled by mountains and water, is definitely one of them. Although the hotel has been open for fourteen years, and the room decor and hardware facilities honestly show their age a bit, the biggest advantage of being built early is its exceptionally prime location. In other words, it occupies the best, most central spot in the Dongqian Lake area, truly standing out from the crowd. In fact, when staying at a resort like this, there's little need to venture out in search of beautiful scenery or delicious food (unless you're staying for more than three nights). The shimmering blue waters and verdant mountains here offer a new view with every step and every moment. As you stroll, you'll encounter ancient structures and historical sites (like the Tea House), a visual blend of Chinese and Western aesthetics (such as the Red Restaurant), Black Pearl-rated Chinese delicacies (Qianhu Fish Port), and Park Hyatt's top-tier Western cuisine (Yue Xuan). Add to that the newly opened petting zoo (with peacocks, miniature pigs, black swans, lambs, deer, and rabbits) and an organic farm (with various fruits and vegetables), and guests can easily lose themselves in enjoyment without ever leaving the property. Of course, what truly satisfies my family and me most is the hotel's professional, warm, attentive, and thoughtful service. A special thank you to the hotel management and service team who provided such careful care and attention during our stay. This includes some staff whose names I know and many more whose names I don't (or didn't remember), such as Director of Rooms Brown, Front Office Manager Catherine, Director of Food & Beverage Lily, Yue Xuan Restaurant Manager Vivian, and Pastry Chef Leo. It is precisely their dedicated efforts that create such memorable Park Hyatt experiences for guests. Park Hyatt Ningbo, we must come again!

MMarissaKWe love love love the Hilton! This was our second visit. The breakfast buffet is delicious, the room is big and comfortable, and the views are lovely. Our two boys love the pools and the play areas. Many members of the staff speak English and are very helpful and sweet. Unfortunately the outdoor water park was out of service, which is unfortunate, because we were looking forward to it. We still had a lot of fun at the other play areas though, and will be back.
