There is a parrot in the B&B that stays on the proprietress's head all day long. It's so cute. The B&B is very close to the beach, just a short walk away. It is best to go there at dusk when there are fewer people and the scenery is beautiful, with many people surfing. A few minutes' drive from the B&B is ”Golden Beach and Silver Land”, a niche beach, which is a good place to watch the sunrise. You can ask the boss to book a boat ticket to Dazhou Island, which is very beautiful. There is no shortage of beaches in Wanning, but for beaches with fewer people and more beautiful scenery, it is recommended to go to Xinqun Bay. If you are lucky enough to come to Xinqun Bay, it is recommended that you stay in this humane B&B for a few nights. It will definitely be worth the trip.

The room is OK, the disposable items are very good. The bathroom door was slippery and asked the housekeeper to take a floor mat. The electric car rental at the homestay is 50 yuan a day, and there is a traffic jam nearby. It is convenient to ride a small motorcycle. The homestay takes a small road (not very good) to the southern end of Shimei Bay in ten minutes. There are few people and the sand is very fine. It is suitable for children to dig sand, but it is not suitable for people who want to pick up shells. There is sand on the entire beach here, and there are no stones and coral stones. We rode to the sea view pavilion to pick up shells, not far away, and then rode all the way to the Shenzhou Peninsula. Eat to China Resources Jiuli, vanilla duck, dregs vinegar hot pot.

Ideal location if you want to go surfing and you can rent boards and wetsuits through the hotel directly. Room was clean and comfortable, the staff super friendly and responsive. Downside is the noise from the town until 2am, but thats not the hotels fault and affects all of them in the region. I even read of people who couldn't sleep from the noise on the island aplartment 2.5km away. The music is really extremely loud and fireworks happen aswell. But as said, not the hotels fault. Would come again for surfing and theres lot of food options and convenience stores around aswell.

An absolutely wonderful and unforgettable stay. The six-bed room is very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with an en-suite shower. Everything is designed to make getting around easy: electric scooters are available at a very reasonable price, and an electric scooter is even provided free of charge for short trips, which is a real bonus. The free transfers between the train station and the hostel (both ways) are a real plus and make arrival and departure very simple. But what truly sets this place apart is the manager: exceptionally kind, always available, attentive, and ready to help in any situation, even generously offering food. If I ever return to Hainan, this will be the only place I stay without hesitation. The location is also ideal for exploring the island: Sanya and Haikou are less than an hour away by train. A huge thank you to the manager for his warm welcome and remarkable hospitality.

A random youth hostel in Wanning! The atmosphere is very good, there are many friends who can sing for free with microphones at night, I met a lot of friends here, and they will organize werewolf killing at night, so there are 20 or 30 stray cats in his house, you can pet the cats at will, and there is also a big dog named Maomao. The dormitory environment is also warm, and you can also sign up for paddle board surfing here

The vibe at Surfers Garden is chill and cool but a little bit too much. My room had no towels, no toilet paper. Cabinet to store my things in the shared room couldn’t lock. The room itself can’t lock from the outside as well and too often when I was looking for someone at the reception there were no one … When you finally catch someone to give you a towel, be aware that it’s a disposable towel. So better bring your own. In the morning, don’t hope to get a coffee at their bar before 9am or 10am. The whole place looks a bit messy and the reception space looks unfinished. Staff is friendly tho. The guesthouse is surrounded by many little shops and local restaurants. You can reach the Ri Yue Wan beach where you will find bar/coffee, clubs, shops, surfing clubs etc. in 15 min walking or 5min by e-bike. Ri Yue Wan beach area is definitely the place to be to enjoy a good “beach/surfer” vibe sipping a cocktail in front of the beach. At night, this place turn into a music festival area where everyone display live show music and DJ and expect fireworks on the beach almost every 15min. If you are looking for surfing club in this area, I would recommend to check Shaka surf club. Good service, good price, and so far the most professional to me at Ri Yue Wan.
