"The both shift receptionists I met were super kind, friendly, and helpful.
Pro: location, elevator, fan in the room, hot shower.
You can ask the receptionist for hair dryer. Also, you can leave your luggage after check out and pick it up later, which is very convenient!
They have breakfast service from 8-10 am for 10€ but we didn't try, coz we woke up late.
One thing to note: you have to leave your key at the reception always when you leave. I didn't ask why but maybe for security reason, I didn't lose any stuff so I'm happy. There are safe lockbox in the room.

GGuest UserFantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer.
But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here.
What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella.
Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc.
But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry!
Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”.

GGuest UserJo&Joe Roma was just as I hoped it would be. We are an older family and I wanted to share with my adult kids the place as I thought it would be a great place for them to experience and without a doubt it was everything we wanted. I’m sure we will all be back.
Location excellent, breakfast yum, rooms very clean. Atmosphere awesome!
Staff were so helpful, friendly and supportive with any questions we had. They were even able to support my Coeliac disease with the breakfast in the morning. ❤️
The room was superb. I just wish we booked it for another night to enjoy more.

GGuest UserThe soundproofing and blackout curtains on the beds were excellent. The only minor issue was that they were a bit noisy when opened and closed, but the girls in the room were all very quiet, so I slept really well. The hostel often offers free dinners, which looked quite good.

CCesar RennerClose to everything! Has a few stairs, good spacious rooms very friendly and helpful staff! Try to avoid the ones that have window on to the street as the trams make a bit of noise, but I certainly will use it again! And trip is cheaper than booking and a lot more helpful if you have a problem

MMaria MDWe stayed as a family in a premium bungalow, it is very clean and well equipped. Im honestly really impressed how clean it is. All the linen, towels, duvet are spotless. There is a dishwasher, but we didnt have a dishwasher cleaning tablets, so we couldn’t use it. There is a bbq, we didnt use it either.
The pools amenities are fantastic and really clean. There are a few eateries, a shop, a laundry. Our location was far from the pool and playgrounds, the closer units might be challenging to stay in with kids, there is a lot happening and it is loud late in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed it and kids loved it. We didnt need the shuttle bus, so cant comment on it.
The only thing is that after a checkout I entered a shop to buy something and kept my credit card in my pocket, when I wanted to pay at a cashier, my card disappeared. I searched the small shop in case it fell out but no success. So I guess you have to be careful.

Kkat.tripsIt was a great stay here at Hotel Lodi. My partner and I are used to simple and modest places as we've been traveling across Europe so Hotel Lodi was everything we were looking for. The en suite was clean and came with good amenities like soap, body wash, and shampoo. And our room had a TV so we were able to relax and enjoy a show together every night. The Italian guy at the desk was super nice and funny. If you go there with a kind attitude, you'll surely receive the energy back. A few notes, I don't think there's an elevator there so this might not be great for people traveling with a ton of luggage. However my partner and I only had a large backpack each so it was good for us to make it up and down the stairs. Another fun thing to do get around town is the Lime Bikes all around the neighborhood. There were lots around Hotel Lodi it made the slightly inconvenient area of stay way more convenient.

However, the hot water pressure in the shower was unstable; sometimes no hot water came out at all, or it took an unusually long time for the hot water to start flowing. Because of this, I had to keep a tiny trickle of hot water running throughout my shower, which was a bit of a hassle to manage.

GGuest UserThe location is spot on! It’s not far to walk to anywhere from this hotel, there are many cafes and restaurants around so easy to find a lovely evening meal.
The breakfast was simple but I enjoy that. There was fruit, eggs, pastries, bread, coffee and juice laid out each morning.
The room is very basic and small. I understand that the pictures online and the rooms can vary, but this was very different to what we thought we had booked online. The balcony is very small and just a simple view of the nearby roofs. But the bed was extremely comfortable, I had a great nights sleep every night.
The reception staff were helpful with everything and gave us great advise about travelling around Rome.
This was a great place to stay if you’re only using to the room sleep.
