I recently booked a room at this hotel for my parents, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their experience. From the moment they arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my parents were comfortable and well taken care of. The service was truly outstanding. The room was booked for one night and included breakfast the following morning, which my parents thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel also has a restaurant where guests can purchase extra meals at any time, which was very convenient. The availability of a car park made their stay even more hassle-free. My parents were very satisfied with every aspect of their visit, and I’m grateful to the hotel crew for making their stay so enjoyable. Thank you for your exceptional service! It’s quite a vibey place. The stuff was really friendly and helpful. It’s a good place to spend a couple of nights if you’re in Colombo. The breakfast was quite good with several choices available.

The hotel location was great, many shops at the surrounding area. However, the room, bed sheet and pillow case were a bit smelly. The floor was also quite dirty and sticky. We needed to wipe it with wet tissue to make it feel better. The heater and hair dryer were not working well. We requested for iron but was not sent to the room. The toilet was also not so clean. The best thing about the room is its thick blanket and fluffy bed. Its aircond was great too.

Good for one night in Colombo. They let us check in after delayed flight and organised a tuktuk the next day to bus station

The stayed at Lavinia Bay Beach Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly designed, offering a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view from the balcony with a sea view, which provided a perfect spot for relaxation. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, with fresh ingredients and excellent presentation.But the pool has to be renovated and maintained.

I stayed there for a night and extended the stay for one more night. There's a kettle, water, glasses and cups, coffee and tea, a fridge, bottles of shampoo/conditioner and lotion. You can have breakfast on the sixth floor, and there's a great café called Grind nearby. Two supermarkets - Spar and another one - within 5-10 minutes on foot. The towels had tone cream spots on them, and they don't seem to clean every day (on the second day, i called to ask for some water and toiletries, but only got water). Besides, i heard the noise of the vacuum cleaner in the hall at 9:30 pm - i requested a quiet room and was trying to fall asleep, so that was disappointing.

We visited as a family of 7, including 2 kids. Chandana, the host, was very accommodating to our needs and went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. The place had a backpacker retreat type setting with Boho themes. The place is clean and well kept but appears to be a bit old, so expect the usual quirks of older homes. Parking is available for small cars only. Larger vehicles would need to park at the top of the cul-de-sac by the arterial lane. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Berjaya Hotel is a grand entrance. Feels like premium hotel and is best for the people who want to explore the beach. The view from the hotel was very serene, waking up to the sight of beach is amazing. The train passes by every few minutes which might be a nuance if you like absolute quiet environments. There are restraunts and bars nearby on the beach which is a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It was strange to find a lack of amenities in the room like toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. I had a walk a couple of kilometres to find a shop to buy slippers before I could take a shower and relax after a long flight. The staff was very helpful during the checkin and checkout process helping me carry my luggage even at 4am in the morning. The complimentary breakfast was also delightfully diverse with a mix of Desi, Continental and Srilankan dishes. Overall I enjoyed my stay. I hope the hotel management can add to the amenities so the international travellers can have a more comfortable stay.

Location was good, in the heart of the city. Rooms are average and hotel did not provide shower cap, soap and shampoo. Else everything was ok. Recommend only for short stay. The only thing i like about hotel was friendly staff and plenty of food restaurants nearby area. Else everything was average.
