This is my second time staying at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel, and I really love this place. First off, the hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro subway station, making it very convenient for visiting various attractions. Secondly, the hotel is directly connected to the Sunshine City shopping mall, which is super convenient for both shopping and dining. Thirdly, there's a performance stage in the mall with boy bands performing almost daily, allowing me to easily catch live shows. The hotel rooms are also very nice, and they provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water every day. The hotel also offers a direct airport shuttle bus. You can book your ticket in advance at the front desk, and it costs 1400 JPY per person, which is incredibly convenient. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Tokyo.

An extremely satisfying stay. Despite the room's compact size, a huge plus was its ability to comfortably accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. This is particularly valuable in Tokyo, where guests aged 15 and over are considered adults – many other hotels explicitly prohibit this, often requiring you to book an additional room.
The location is superb; there's a 7-Eleven conveniently located on the ground floor, and plenty of cafes and restaurants are right around the corner. Ikebukuro subway station and several major shopping malls are all within a 10-minute walk. You can also find Minami-Ikebukuro Park nearby, offering a delightful glimpse into the tranquil local life amidst the bustling city.

My most favourite accommodation in Japan! Not only clean, location is quiet and good( near to sunshine city prince hotel, direct Limousine bus from Narita airport
, worried free!). All the necessary items given ( facial cleaning oil, cleanser, toner, cream, hair oil). The room is spacious and comfortable , two pillows given, staffs are nice, breakfast ok. Recommend for solo travellers and family stay too.

This is my 2nd booking for my this Tokyo trip. My earlier booking was from another provider. The hotel is so amazing that I cancel my other hotel booking and extended here via Trip.com. This hotel is so amazing, its clean, many amenities you can pick from shampoo, body wash, serum and even some supplements from the front desk every day. They provide pyjamas as well.
After your daily sightseeing/shopping walks, you can come back to amazing onsen access. You take a bath and soak in the hot onsen to help woth sore legs and fatigue. There is a ladies only floor as well(which i stayed in my first booking). There is a FREE open bar daily from 5 to 8pm, and they randomly extend it to 9pm.
Last but not least, they staff is polite, helpful and overall amazing! Special callout to night shift Washida San when I was there. He was super helpful to get me moved from my first room booking to my 2nd one and help accommodate me on some of my requests.
I would definitely return again. Thank you to the wonderful hotel team!
P.S.- they have resident dog ”Au” (robot dog in pic) super cute and was responsive to me :)

Overall, the hotel is acceptable. I believe most guests choose it primarily for its excellent location in Ikebukuro. However, the cleanliness was only average; they don't provide a thorough cleaning for consecutive two-night stays, which is quite an issue. Additionally, the Narita Airport Limousine Bus service isn't very convenient, so keep that in mind. On the bright side, there are plenty of fantastic dining and entertainment options nearby. I highly recommend checking out the yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurants!

I found it rather difficult to locate the hotel. It is situated in a small alley where there are quite a few hotels nearby. There are washing machine and microwave oven in the room. I expected a Japanese style buffet breakfast which I had in another Tokyu Stay Hotel years ago, however, to my surprise, the breakfast was some microwaveable food.

The location of the hotel is good. fairly close to the train station about a 5mins walk. Its got a Denny's on the second floor for those coming from the states, and convenient store right next to the hotel entrance on the ground floor. walk outside the building you got everything you need right there or just a few blocks away. The room feels dark and dingy because lack of lighting. dedicated wifi for each room but connection isn't perfect. The hotel make you wait until check-in time, even though they have rooms cleaned up and ready. How do I know that? because they front desk guy ask me if I want to pay extra charge to check-in early. This might be a common Japan thing, just a few days ago I was in China traveling and the hotels there give you the room whenever its ready without any fees. A week before that, I was traveling in Vietnam and the hotels there do the same, early check-in no fees. So I might have been spoiled by that. Also, it seems like the check-in times and check-out times have been changed to favorite the hotels this year in Japan. Last year, the hotel check-out times were 11am and this year is mainly 10am with a few exceptions at some properties. That leaves a possible 5 hours (10am-3pm) for travelers stranded and need to find spots to kill time before they can get settled. The situation can get worse if the weather condition changes, and you know how tropical weather is like in much parts of Asia during those seasons. Therefore, please book hotels with that in mind.

Rooms is pretty basic, however the real luxury is the onsen facilities available for males up at lvl 11 and 12. Onsen facilities included a sauna, steam room, cold bath, and multiple spaces for its hot onsen, including the rooftop outdoor onsen which is beautiful if it rains or snows.

The hotel is conveniently located near the North Exit of Ikebukuro Station (West Exit). Make sure you take the right exit, and it's an easy walk from there. The front desk on the first floor provides complimentary tea bags and cosmetic samples. The rooms are relatively small, making it challenging to fully open a large suitcase. However, other facilities are well-equipped and very convenient. Breakfast is a typical Japanese style.

Let's talk about the location first. It's only a three-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. It's very easy to find on the roadside.
The hotel is newly opened. You can find the environment by looking at the pictures I posted.
It's very fresh and very comfortable.
You can order food, drinks and coffee when sitting outside at night.
There is a self-service machine on the first floor for check-in.
All supplies can be picked up in the lobby on the first floor.
The room is very big. What's special is that there is a steam room and a massage bathtub.
I booked a family of three and each person had a bed and slept very comfortably.

The whole room is not big, but it is separated into dry and wet areas, and there is no bathtub in the shower room, which saves a lot of space.
This time I came to Tokyo mainly to do a drrr pilgrimage, so I chose this place as my base. Moreover, the guy at the front desk can speak Chinese, so communication is not too tiring, and the price is also reasonable. Overall, it is quite good.
