Licheng Hotel Yi (Xi’an Bell and Drum Tower Xiaozhai Datang Everbright City)

The location was great. Easy to get to all attractions. Friendly staff. It was clean but not super clean. It was very good for our short two-night stay.

The rooms are spacious, with robot Xiao Du handling the room controls. It also features full-height mirrors, which we appreciated. The staff is thoughtful and kind. We arrived late at night, and he didn’t keep us waiting long to check in. They also paid attention to our request to arrange shower curtains in the rooms, as the bathroom, shown in their photos and other guests’ reviews, has a glass door/wall that can be seen through from the room. They provided magnet souvenirs in exchange for reviews, which didn’t bother us at all because everything at this hotel was great.

Good : location was great, just 5 min walk from subway, 20 min ride from the Great goose pagoda. The breakfast was great too, good variety. The room has a smart system but it's a bit confusive. The bed is big and comfortable. The heating system is good.The staff of the hotel was professional and kind. Bad : Even with the modern smart system, the room is a bit outdated. It was dark, and the window didnt provide enough daily light. The glass between the room and the toilet was transparent and doesnt give you any privacy. Unfortunately, even though we asked for a non smoking room, we got a smoking one so we were a bit dissapointed because it had a smell of cigarettes.
