Hotels in Chengdong Economic Development Area, Xining

On this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats). I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

After a trip around the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, we arrived in Xining and stayed here for two nights. Parking was convenient, and the hotel lobby felt like a trendy coffee shop – a really nice atmosphere. The front desk staff were very friendly and check-in was super fast. Both the soft and hard facilities of the hotel were excellent; our room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast spread was extensive, and there's a large shopping mall right across the street. The location is superb! Highly recommend!

Breakfast includes yak yogurt and ga mian pian (local noodles). It's super convenient for visiting Ta'er Monastery and Qinghai Lake. Located on a main thoroughfare in Chengdong District, parking is free and ample. Upon check-in, they offer hot ginger tea to help with altitude sickness. The bedding is soft and the soundproofing is excellent. It's a top choice for a rest stop on a road trip.

The breakfast is authentic and delicious, making it my top choice when visiting Xining. The front desk staff are warm and efficient, handling check-in quickly. They patiently explained about the oxygen supply and breakfast arrangements, responded promptly to requests, and were gentle and considerate. The front desk was also efficient with check-in and check-out, proactively informing us about hotel amenities. Their professional service made my business trip very hassle-free.

Friends with limited budgets highly recommend this! The location is super convenient, 2 minutes walk to the bus station, surrounded by food and convenience stores. Although the room is small, it is clean and tidy, the hot water is very powerful, and there is free high-speed Wi-Fi. The front desk service is warm and actively provides travel guides. The price is full, the student party and the poor travel party close their eyes

While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, everything in the room is fully functional. They have parking, which is convenient for those driving. The breakfast is simple but decent. The staff on the floors and at the front desk are enthusiastic, proactive, and happy to help. Overall, it's a good choice for a short stay.
