Nearby places are within walking distance, and even the furthest spots are just a bit over 10 km away, so transportation is absolutely no problem! The guesthouse's design truly showcases meticulous craftsmanship at every turn. The massive, 4-meter-wide, floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the snow-capped mountains, transforming the view into a breathtaking, dynamic oil painting. Even the charming wooden cabins in the courtyard are so picturesque that every casual photo turns out stunning. The owner truly embraces the 'less is more' philosophy. There's no unnecessary clutter; instead, the focus is on creating a relaxed atmosphere that allows guests to fully appreciate the majestic snow mountains and enjoy a unique sense of tranquility. It's genuinely a top choice for a relaxing getaway! Finally, a special shout-out to the landlady – she's not only beautiful and kind-hearted but also has impeccable taste. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone – you won't regret it!

A Serene and Majestic Escape from the Bustle Weary of the bustling ancient town, choosing to stay at Yundu Scenic Guesthouse in Baisha was hands down the best decision of this entire trip. The guesthouse is nestled in a quiet village, offering an incredibly peaceful environment where the only sounds are the wind, birdsong, and the majestic call of the snow-capped mountains. The breathtaking phenomenon of 'Golden Mountain Sunrise' each morning was a daily highlight, a magnificent spectacle we could enjoy exclusively from our room or terrace. The rooms are simply designed yet comfortable, and the facilities are brand new. The complimentary breakfast was comforting and satisfying, and the small gym was perfect for basic workouts. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. I'd read reviews praising its 'peaceful environment, far from the hustle and bustle,' and it was exactly what I was looking for! If you're seeking tranquility while still wanting to experience the spectacular snow-capped mountain views, this place is absolutely ideal. It truly deserves all the high praise and excellent ratings. (A little insider tip: make sure to experience the evenings here! At the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I found a home nestled in the clouds. During my two-day stay, a light drizzle fell, but this allowed me to witness the most poetic side of the snow mountain—clouds like veils, swirling among the peaks. Every butler here wore a genuine smile; their warmth permeated from our first meeting to our farewell. The deepest感动 (gǎndòng, a feeling of being deeply moved) was hidden in the details: the bonfire flickering in the quiet valley at night, my child drifting off to sleep by its warm glow, and the butler quietly and gently bringing me a glass of lemon soda. We simply ordered two dishes at the restaurant, but the butler, like an old friend, shared the Dai-style pounded chicken feet and grilled fish she had bought from the local market. At that moment, it didn't feel like staying in a hotel, but rather like visiting a dear friend in a distant place.

I can only say: absolutely amazing! Right now, I'm sitting on the ground floor, sipping coffee and just soaking in the peace. Getting back to it, I came to Lijiang to unwind. Before arriving, I spent a long time choosing where to stay, searching for places with breathtaking views like the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise.' After sifting through countless options and weighing various reviews, I, with a mix of anticipation and a touch of fate, chose Mujianshan. Once I arrived, I immediately felt great about my choice. It's not too far from Baisha Ancient Town; a leisurely walk takes just over ten minutes. And since my main destination was Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a taxi ride there was under thirty minutes, even faster without traffic. The staff here, especially the ladies, are incredibly kind and attentive. They really go above and beyond, even anticipating your emotional needs – truly thoughtful and meticulous. The ambiance here is wonderful – very quiet and perfect for relaxation. They offer coffee, tea, and even wine. Even though it's been mostly cloudy these past two days, my overall experience has been fantastic. I definitely want to come back again, and when I do, I'll absolutely choose Mujianshan again. Next time, I'd love to just spend a whole day relaxing quietly at the guesthouse. I hope this helps anyone who's still deciding which guesthouse to book.
