Our stay at Fanbowan Hotel was truly outstanding!
The rooms were excellent—spacious, clean, and luxurious. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of high-quality options.
However, the service is the real highlight. Every staff member was wonderful, especially Oda at reception, who was incredibly helpful and made our stay so pleasant.
Small note for improvement: Finding the entrance for the first time after booking via Trip.com was a little tricky due to the lack of immediate signage.
Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended! 10/10!

Hotel is perfect for staying, it’s new, cozy, clean, nice, with beautiful view to the city, we really enjoyed our stay.
And they also managed to clean and dry all of our dirty clothes (from the whole week).
Breakfast is also very good and big.
We really recommend this place.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in China! Usually, my main concern is the quality of the room and its location—not the breakfast or food. But this hotel truly surprised me with both its price and amenities. The room was spacious, offering double panoramic views of the city and the river. The light, calming colors of the room made it even more relaxing. If I visit Zhangjiajie again, this will definitely be my first choice!

An amazing hidden gem of a hotel! I stay in many hotels every year and rarely leave reviews, but this one truly deserves a mention. Zhangjiajie isn't that big, so your exact location doesn't make a huge difference; there's no need to specifically look for hotels near the cable car or the 72-Peculiar Towers. Both the lobby and rooms offer beautiful river views. Downstairs, there are several well-known Zhangjiajie restaurants. The facilities are brand new, almost as if the hotel just opened a few days ago. The decor is tasteful and gives off a cozy, welcoming vibe. Breakfast is a set menu, exquisite and delicious. The service is proactive and warm; they met all our reasonable requests (we didn't try anything excessive!). All in all, it's a refined hidden gem and highly recommended!

The room was very comfortable and offered great value for money. I noticed many international guests during breakfast and throughout the afternoon, suggesting it's quite popular with foreign visitors. The lobby was beautiful and inviting. The en-suite bathroom was also excellent, and the bedding was spotless. The only minor inconvenience was that it was a little tricky to locate upon check-in.

The hotel is wonderful. The room is beautiful, spacious, clean and has a nice view of the river. The chinese breakfast is delicious and has lot’s of choice. But most of all we liked the friendly and helpful staff. With help from their translation device we could talk with them in English. They arranged a free pick-up and drop-off from and to the railwaystation and arranged a big car to bring our family of five persons to the national parcs. We appreciated very much the excellent laundry service. We can highly recommend this hotel.

The room was spotless; I'd even brought my own alcohol wipes to clean up, but quickly realized they were entirely superfluous. The room was spacious, and the bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable. Even the disposable slippers were excellent quality, a small detail that truly speaks volumes about the overall standards. Breakfast was freshly prepared and very generous, offering dishes like rice noodles, kudzu powder, and more. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming. She thoughtfully asked for our arrival time in advance to turn on the air conditioning, ensuring we'd arrive to a cool room. She also proactively helped us carry our luggage downstairs.
