Writing a review from the UK: Would definitely recommend staying here. Don’t hesitate to book! This hotel was INCREDIBLE. The view from the room (see pics) was amazing. The food at the restaurant is authentic Chinese food and SO TASTY, and has vegetarian and vegan options and they will change the spice level according to your taste. Winnie was extremely helpful and her English was excellent. All the staff were young and very helpful! Traveller tip: this hotel is by the west gate and the hotel will plan an itinerary for you if you need them to. If you have a tour booked this will usually start at the east gate. Using didi is very cheap to/from this hotel so the distance from the city isn’t an issue just an hour trip. The hotel itself makes the distance worth it and the beds were ultra comfy!

Very nice place. Good pool. Nice park. Very friendly staff. especially liked work of the manager Winnie. Help us to visit park Avatar and yellow Dragon cave. Next year visited this place again.

When you come to this place you shuld stay in this hotel. Only 10 min Walk to the west Gate (this Gate has no trafic at all) The hotel took us all over. Again.. Perfect

Absolutely amazing stay. Felt like we were staying with a family but with super modern and well furnished hotel rooms. The dogs were fantastic company. Nothing was beyond the calling. Food was amazing throughout - customized to our needs. Cannot go wrong with this property. Nice hike right next to the property along the river - the dogs will guide u on it. Amazing stay.

Best hotel from my experience Very very warm hospitality, all staffs are great. All of them have best service minds. The location is very closed to Zhangjiajia west gate, enter from this gate, you could safe lots of time from queues

This hidden jewel is a unique example for customer service. We, as a couple from Germany, but living in Shanghai, did this Zhangjiajie trip by our own. Without the support from the hotel staff, the trip to the parks and sightseeing points would not have been possible for us. They booked all the itinerary and tickets for us in advance. Hotel is cozy and nice

The scenery is beautiful and the location is super convenient, very close to the West Gate. There are not many tour groups entering through this gate, so you don't have to queue. The meals are farm-style dishes and taste good. The store will provide you with tour routes, and the service is thoughtful and considerate.

It takes about an hour to get to the hostel near the west gate entrance of Zhangjiajie Forest Park from the high-speed rail station. This hostel has a unique geographical location and occupies a large area. There are mountains and forests on all sides, the air is fresh, the scenery is beautiful, and the facilities are very modern. This time we rented a suite, which was big enough for three people to share. The hotel is fully equipped with restaurants, swimming pools, public spaces, etc. It is rare to be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the primeval forest and have an intimate accommodation experience. What is surprising is that this hostel is managed by only a few young people. They are polite, always available, and provide considerate service. Their attitude towards people is more mature than that of many people in their twenties or thirties. There were also two waitresses in the hostel who spoke fluent English, were gentle and very friendly. One of them often accompanied the boy in a golf cart to take us to the entrance of the scenic area and dinner in town. Later I learned that the two girls were recent university graduates majoring in English, and the butler was a local Tujia person. His warm hospitality was worthy of praise. The hostel has two restaurants, one large and one small. The small one provides breakfast, and the large restaurant is where we can go for dinner. The waitress was a young Tujia woman, wearing a round-brimmed hat. She was smiling and friendly, and offered us fragrant local berry tea. We ordered several dishes including fat fish, fried mugwort cakes, stir-fried pork with vegetables, shredded potatoes, etc., which were very delicious. Especially the fried mugwort cake, which is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a refreshing mugwort flavor, and is very distinctive. The hostel’s breakfast consists of simple pastries, steamed buns, scallion noodle soup with different toppings, milk, and boiled eggs. The ingredients are fresh and each dish has a fresh and original flavor. After breakfast, the young supervisor will drive us to the west gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in a golf cart. His colleagues arranged and explained the full-day itinerary for us in advance. Entering the park from the west is because it is closest to the hostel and most tourists enter from the east. During the May Day Golden Week, it is suitable to avoid the crowds. As a result, our trip went very smoothly and we didn't have to wait long for the ride or the tour. It was already 8 o'clock in the evening when we returned to the hostel. The last dining time at the hostel’s large restaurant had passed, but luckily our young supervisor once again took us to the town to prevent us from going hungry and recommended a local restaurant. After dinner, we were surprised to see the young manager already waiting in front of the store to take us back to the hostel. This enthusiasm is touching! In addition, the resort originally had two dogs with rough life stories, the pastoral dog Zhaocai and the Border Collie Duoduo. They had been injured by traps before, and many of them were lame. When I learned about them from the Internet, I was eager to get to know them. Unexpectedly, Duoduo got lost three days before we checked in. The male butler loved Duoduo very much and said that he couldn't sleep well at night because Duoduo was lost. Zhaocai is also very humane and friendly to us. As long as the guests call loudly, it will run over from its resting place. I hope that next time I come to Zhangjiajie, I can see Duoduo and Zhaocai waiting for us in the hotel.

Very close to Ximen, the location is very good, the store picked us up to Ximen every day. The room is clean and the window view is particularly beautiful. The store owner is very nice, basically meeting any needs, and occasionally giving us some fruit to eat. There is also a small mountain road near the accommodation to explore. You can use their washing machine for free. The hotel is generally well maintained and the facilities are a little old.

The sanitation and facilities are very good. The air is fresh. It feels like escaping from the city. The hotel is close to the West Gate. We left the scenic area late, and there was no Didi. We didn't order food in advance, so there was no dinner on the first night. Fortunately, the lady had instant noodles and snacks, and helped us prepare bowls and chopsticks. Thank you very much.

Location: 1.5 kilometers from the west gate of the forest park, they provide car pick-up and drop-off throughout the trip! It's so convenient! Environment: Leisurely and clean, delicious breakfast! The room has a good view and environment! Maomao and Wangcai are so friendly. After climbing the mountain, they come back to relax and sit for a while! Service👍👍👍: Absolute core competitiveness! You can feel that everyone is doing good for everyone from the bottom of their hearts. The tour route they arranged for us is really amazing. There was no queue when we went up the Bailong Elevator. The B&B is located near the west gate of the forest park. The owner can pick you up and drop you off at the west gate of the scenic spot. There were few people during the days I went there, so it was very convenient. The food in the B&B is also delicious!!! The noodles for breakfast are amazing. My friend, who doesn't eat breakfast on a regular basis, has a big bowl of noodles every morning. The B&B environment is very good, suitable for relaxing and going to class. If you don't go to the scenic spot, it's also very comfortable to sit in the B&B and be in a daze all day. There are two dogs, the German Shepherd is called Duoduo, who has a lot of thoughts, no wonder he is called Duoduo, very friendly, eats eggs and meat, but doesn't eat steamed buns and sweet potatoes (feeds but doesn't eat). The hotel is in a good location, just a few minutes' drive from Ximen. The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic. I also saw the meteor shower during my stay in the hotel, which is really memorable. The layout of the hotel facilities may be more reasonable.
