I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews, but I found this place to be a real gem. It's a bit far from the city center, but if you have a car, it's absolutely no problem. Parking is A$25 per night in the standard underground car park. You definitely need a car when visiting Western Australia. The hotel infrastructure is excellent; this setup would easily qualify as a five-star hotel back home. During the Southern Hemisphere summer, the indoor pool was closed, but the outdoor pool is accessible directly with your room key. You can ask the staff for directions. The beach is right downstairs, and you can spend a whole day there, just like the locals do. The ocean-view room was stunning; waking up to the sea view was amazing. The room was spacious and very clean upon check-in. However, the hotel is quite large, and the housekeeping on the second day was a bit slow; our room hadn't been cleaned by 4 PM when we returned, so we just grabbed fresh towels and skipped the cleaning. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. This area is a lively hub. Every summer, Western Australia hosts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night markets, and Scarborough is where the Thursday night market takes place. The area around the hotel becomes incredibly vibrant, feeling like all of Perth has descended upon it. Downstairs, there are various restaurants, including a Thursday Special Steak deal, offering a 30% discount. A 300g steak for A$30-40 is an amazing and delightful deal. There's a Coles supermarket within a 5-minute walk, where everything is cheaper – anyone who's traveled to Australia will understand. Everything was so relaxing; I hope to come back soon.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The included continental breakfast was good. The location across from the beach was great and also easy to walk around the main part of town. Lots of choices of places to eat within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

This hotel is an absolute must-stay for a Perth getaway. The estate-like layout and staying in a villa right next to the green space is incredibly pleasant. Plus, you might even see kangaroos hopping around in front of your room! The villa area also comes with a kitchen, so you can cook whatever you like. 😂

This motel has a very retro style – or rather, it's just plain old. It feels like a 50s or 60s building, and the facilities everywhere show their age: First, let's talk about the less-than-satisfactory aspects: · Outdated hardware: The lighting is dim, and the most unbelievable thing is that they're still using window air conditioners. · Poor soundproofing: The guests next door checked out and left at 5 AM the next morning, and I could hear their car starting clearly. Light sleepers should definitely beware. · Basic toiletries: While shampoo and shower gel are provided, their quality leaves much to be desired. You need to bring your own toothbrush and cup, which can be a bit awkward if you forget. But there are also some highlights: · The shower water pressure is strong and hot, which is perfect for washing away the fatigue after a long journey. · Family-friendly bed layout: 1 large bed + 1 single bed, just right for three adults and one child. · Microwave is very practical: In the morning, I heated up the previous day's #1 ranked pie and baguette from Mount Barker and enjoyed breakfast in the room, which was quite pleasant. · Good location: About a 20-minute drive from Bald Head and only 1.8km from town, making it convenient for visiting attractions and finding food. Summary: If you're just looking for a cheap place to stay overnight and don't have high expectations for the facilities, this place is barely acceptable. However, if you're a light sleeper or prioritize comfort, I recommend looking elsewhere. It's okay for a casual overnight stay, but don't expect a comfortable experience.

The hotel's location is excellent. Busselton Jetty is just a short walk from the entrance, making it super convenient for train rides, fishing, swimming, diving, and watching the sunset. There's also a Woolworths a few hundred meters away, which is handy for stocking up on essentials. The hotel breakfast is very generous. Highly recommended!

Nice location at the heart of Exmouth. I drove so everywhere was accessible, markets and cafes in 10 minutes walking distance. Easy pick up point for tours. I stayed in a dormitory, great receptionist to put me within the females (as it was not a selection here). Kitchen and communal facilities very basic, doesn’t have salt and pepper. Next to bar and party area, every Friday live DJ until 12am. I could hear the beats from my room.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops in a bustling area of Perth. It's just a ten-minute walk to the Bell Tower and Elizabeth Quay. While there are some homeless people in the vicinity, the hotel maintains good security. After 9 PM, you need your room key to access both the lobby and the elevators.

AAnonymous UserThe environment and facilities are excellent. We even received complimentary handmade chocolates upon check-in. As for the price, I managed to snag a 3-night consecutive stay package during a Ctrip promotion, which worked out to saving ¥1,000 per day! There's a large free parking lot, and it's about a 6-minute walk back to the hotel.

GGuest UserThe location is in the city - easy to find, however on the weekends the city centre is all but closed. The hotel did not reply to my emails before arriving with questions and requests for my stay. They provide filtered water in the restaurant which is great, however housekeeping never removed the bottles when they cleaned. They also changed my towels each day - despite the sign saying to leave them on the hook if you didn't want them changed. The bed was extremely soft and not comfortable and the pillows were lumpy and too big. Overall it was ok, clean enough and easy to find but I wouldn't return.

CCathy W.The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. The room felt new and clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The lighting was a bit dim, but overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel also offers luggage storage. The hotel's location is very close to The Perth Mint, and there's a Red CAT bus stop just a 1-2 minute walk away, making it very convenient to get to the CBD. Just a heads up, the pick-up and drop-off stops are different.

SShona3675Place is old, and somewhat outdated, and u do hear the traffic from the freeway. But, for the cost for the night, which was $120, overall, it was good value for money. When I first arrived, as it was after hours, I dealt with the caretaker, who was friendly, and also helped me get into my room, cos I was having trouble with the door lock, which was my fault! I didn't use the kitchen facilities, except the fridge, but kitchen was equipped with enough items to be able to cook a meal easily. Bathroom was good, with shower over bath, (and big size bath too), so with not having a bath at home, I soaked for ages! I was informed before arrival, that only mini soap and toilet paper was provided, so I knew to bring body wash, hair conditioner, and other toiletries. Bed was comfy, and bedroom is quite large. TV maybe a little small, but the room had a couple of cupboards, and some hangers for clothes. Place was fairly clean, keeping in mind that it is an older property. Check out was easy, and I was met by a friendly receptionist behind the desk. I would definately stay again, if the price was as good, I'd just bring some earplugs for sleep, cos of traffic noise, which is no fault of the apartments of course!

SspjWe arrived at the hotel at 7 PM. It's a bit far from town, but the lawns were full of kangaroos, which was cool. The front desk staff finished checking us in just as they were closing, so we made it just in time! A heads-up: the Lake View rooms and Forest Cabins have similar room numbers, so double-check you're headed to the right one. The hotel has its own hiking trail, the Beedelup Loop Walk, which includes a 'through tree' section that's 1.2km one-way. We even saw people swimming in the lake during breakfast – the scenery is absolutely stunning.

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are very well-maintained, some even looking brand new. I read online that parking was $65, but that's actually just for the area in front of the hotel lobby. I asked a bellboy and found out there's a free parking lot not far behind the hotel, which was great! They also have a heated pool, but I was too tired to try it on my first day. The bed was incredibly comfortable! 😊

Jjimmykwok06Good location. Room is clean tidy and spacious. Just one minor point to criticise- tried to call front desk at about 11:30 pm on the first night (as could not locate the hair-dryer inside the room)…called 3 times and nobody picked up the call …😔😔
