The room was nice with a beautiful view of the town and over the river with a comfortable bed and all amenities you could want including a washing machine and drying room. Staff were nice and I had a few conversations with the younger guy who told me he was new to the hotel only working there for the last week or so, with impressive English and a charming attitude he made a very good impression and made us feel at home and it felt like all our needs were met. if you’re thinking of booking a place to stay in Fenghuang I would recommend this place in a heartbeat

Tv did not work in my room, was moved to another one for a night while they fixed it. However tv didn’t work there either. Wifi is poor as well. The service was great tho. I was gifted tea for the inconveniences and the room was cleaned with fresh water and towels daily. In my experience, I thought the hot water was broken, turns out it just needs 10 minutes before it gets warm, same with the sink. View from the hotell is superb. And the breakfast you get, noodles with coffee, tea, fruits and bread was an excellent start to any day. I would recommend the place, but not for extended periods of time, you should also lower your expectations a bit from what is showed on the site.

The guesthouse is located on a commercial street right next to the ancient town. Be aware that the street is quite narrow for vehicles, making it tricky to pass other cars. Upon arrival, the owner thoughtfully led us to parking on an electric scooter and then brought the driver back to the guesthouse, which was very convenient. The highlight for us was the guesthouse's balcony, offering direct, unbeatable views of the ancient town! Even when the bars in the old town were lively at night, the guesthouse remained remarkably quiet with the doors and windows closed, ensuring our rest was completely undisturbed. There are plenty of great food options nearby, and you can step directly into the ancient town from the building. Overall, it was a decent stay. However, a significant drawback was the lack of hot water for showers in the evening. It seemed hot water might not be supplied late at night, as our entire family ended up taking cold showers.

We stayed 2 nights. The hosts are very friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient, and the style is traditional. I really like the decoration of the room with traditional charm. It was walking distance from the cable car station to go to Tianmen Mountain 天门山. Many good restaurants are also around by walking distance. What i didn't like was the noise in the morning on the street and the plane as the airport is not far.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the view is breathtaking. We could see the waterfall from our room which was the highlight of our trip. The room was very clean, they even gifted us a bottle of wine for our honeymoon, as well as allowing us late checkout. Special thanks to Xiaomeng for the great hospitality!

Our experience was amazing! The location of the hotel is perfect…just 2 minutes away from the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car and the hotel provided us with absolutely everything we needed. We had an issue with our Didi app, and the staff were all incredibly dedicated to helping us solve it (and we did!). I have to mention that 小倩同志 (Xiaoqian) made our experience even better. We added each other on WeChat, and she constantly checked in with us to offer help and recommend facilities. She even saved a portion of bean soup for us in advance, and after our long trip, she informed us about the free foot bath service. 🥹❤️ I’m so happy we chose this hotel. Great location, amazing staff, extremely clean, good food, and excellent facilities. Thank you! We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

This hotel was really amazing. It was easy to get to using didi from the airport (around 15rmb) and to get from there all around town. But most importantly it's a short walking distance from the cable car up Tianmenshan, which allowed us to get there super early and still sleep well on the comfortable beds. The view was really nice, the internet quick and everything was clean and well organized. Even though we got a smoking room (we don't smoke) nothing smelled like cigarettes so they even managed to keep that clean. Would really recommend and come back to.

If you're confused or dont know where to dtay, BOOK THIS!! 😍 Rooms: There were 5 of us friends and we had a family room and executive/superior room. Both were clean incuding the other hotel areas. Service: Best part for us was service! 😍 The reception staff especially Guo and May and the hotel owner were all so helpful, responsive and helped us plan our itinerary. Location: Cannot recommend this hotel enough, we had a great time! Location was so close to Baofeng lake and the east gate to national park. Half hour to 72 Towers and train station. Amneties: breakfast had limited options for vegetarian but we knew that and it was not a massive deal for us. We used the laundary room which was pretty easy and they have plenty of umbrellas for rainy days. 10/10 would highly recommend

Highly recommend this hotel to stay if you are going to Tianmen Mountain, short 10-15mins distance. Room is very modern and high tech, you can control the room lights and curtains via AI voice assistant or from the screen panels manually. Hotel also provide a one time free pickup or dropoff service to/from airport or zhangjiajie west railway station, just let the hotel know 1 day in advance and they will arrange for you.

Honestly it is a hidden gem!!!! I absolutely loved it! The attention and service were amazing. Everyone always caring and smiling…. Didn’t want to leave. They make sure to accommodate your needs. The rooms are clean, super cute and the balcony with the pool view is so relaxing….. excellent location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and close to the river to take amazing pictures…..
