The room was excellent and very spacious for our family of four; it even seemed like we had one of the largest available. We were fortunate enough to stumble upon a triathlon competition and even got to watch some of it, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 700-meter walk from Ville train station. Inside the room, we appreciated the complimentary welcome drinks, snacks, iced water, and tote bags—a thoughtful touch. The slippers provided were also very comfortable. The only minor point was that the elevator was a bit small, but it felt very sturdy, and it was great not having to climb stairs. The service was outstanding—very polite and attentive.

The hotel facilities are on par with what you'd expect from a Tokyo hotel, complete with smart toilets. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the front desk service was excellent. The only thing to note is its location next to the train station; the surrounding neighborhood isn't particularly safe, so it's best not to go out alone at night.
The hotel is a bit far from the sights and the city center - about 20 minutes walk. I took a single room with a discount. The room is clean, there is air conditioning. The bed is comfortable.
The bathroom has a bathtub with very high sides. The hangers in the closet are arranged in such a way that the closet door does not open properly, it is difficult to hang clothes on the hangers - your hands do not reach. The furniture is old, some things are broken. There is a safe, but it is very high, you have to stand on a chair to put something in it. The hallway-kitchen has everything you need: a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, etc. Unfortunately, there is no iron. The hotel has an elevator, good soundproofing.
The room is suitable for travelers for 1-2 nights. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel, because the price was low for July.
Last-minute booking for a staycation, and overall, it met my expectations. The room was very spacious, and not having a balcony was fine for a short stay.
The small kitchen was fully equipped with a microwave, crockery, kettle and all necessary details well taken care of.
I particularly liked the shower, which had strong water pressure and flow.
Breakfast offered a good variety of choices, and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite.
The only downside was the bed—it was too soft for someone with back pain. However, given the price, it was a great stay. Recommended if you don’t mind a softer bed.

The location is superb. While it's not right on the beach, it's immediately adjacent to Nice Central Train Station, which makes exploring nearby towns incredibly convenient. It really depends on your travel priorities; if your main focus is to enjoy Nice's beaches, then a beachfront hotel would likely be a better fit. However, since we only planned one day in Nice itself and used the train for excursions to neighboring cities on other days, this location perfectly suited our needs. The hotel is officially rated four-star. Although the room size and amenities might not quite live up to what one expects from a four-star hotel in China, when compared to similarly priced hotels in French tourist cities, it certainly justifies its four-star rating. Highly recommended!

The room is quite spacious and comes equipped with kitchen essentials like a microwave, induction hob, dishes, and cutlery. Optional room cleaning services are available for an extra fee, starting from 11 Euros. Should you need more toiletries or trash bags, they can be collected from the front desk. The location is extremely convenient for exploring; you can reach destinations like Cannes and Monaco by train after a mere 10-minute walk to the station. Access to the Old Town is also straightforward via train or tram. The balcony features excellent soundproofed windows, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep. I personally found this location more convenient than staying directly in the Old Town!

A very good place to rest upon reaching St Charles train station. The room has a mini kitchen but the utensils are quite dirty and overall the room is a little old and dirty. But it’s not too atrocious that it affects comfort at night. It is still a decent stay. The streets around the hotel can be quite dangerous at night. There were people shouting and making noises, very dark place so just take note. The best thing was the water dispenser at the reception, it has sparkling water!

They charge you 150€ for deposit which is quite weird. The staff refused to give me an extra towel to go to the pool. Poor service, rude staff. I don’t really think it’s a 4 star hotel. Not worth the price.

GGuest UserThis hotel ” Hotel Indigo Cagnes-Sur-Mer ”'s exterior in real life looks like the picture on their website, yet the interior has a left a lot to be desired.
The location is a bit off from the main hustle & bustle in central Nice and it takes at least 15-20 by UBER to get to Nice city centre where the real touristy life is happening.
The hotel is very basic, the glass door leading to the balcony has finger prints, the bed is too soft, the air con is not cool enough for very hot days in Nice.
The lobby staff at our stay were functioning normally but you would not say they were outstanding, nothing too warm or welcoming. More like an upgraded youth hostel rather than what we expected as a 4* hotel.
The room has a balcony that overlooks the streets and is in a safe and quiet area. They have a bar and a restaurant but we were never tempted to try them. They also say they have shuttle bus to the nearby beach and also shuttle bus service to the airport, but they never mentioned that it requires 48 hours to book the airport shuttle not until we wanted to ride in it and then found we were told we just not eligible as we only stayed for one night and did not reach the 48 hour prior booking requirement.
And glad that we only stayed for one night because everything they could offer was just very basic.
One thing that staunchly stood out as poorly designed is the bathroom door. It is a brown glass door that is all see through, so there is absolutely zero privacy when one takes a shower. We asked if they could have another room with a proper door and they told us every bathroom door is of brown glass and therefore is transparent. They sounded very nonchalant as if we were too difficult, but when we asked for a solution, they then told us a lot of other guests had the same problem and the solution is to provide guests with a bedsheet for us to figure out how we could make a ' curtain ' out of it. So we realised that we were not the only ones to have voiced this crucial concern, then why hasn't anyone in the management bothered to do something to rectify this very bad situation? The answer is simple---merely shows how indifferent the whole management body is. They just can't be bothered and they don't care.
Hotel Indigo Cagnes-Sur-Mer provided us with a very mediocre room that yields mediocre comfort, it displays mediocre interior, and gives guests robotic service. Bad bathroom design is especially leaving a bad impression because other than the useless transparent brown glass, the bathtub has only erected a 1/2 glass shield that does not prevent water from splashing out, so taking a shower is not relaxing and afterwards you need to wipe the wet floor for the next user. The water pressure of the shower is weak, shower head only has two jet settings. The water drainage is very bad cos the water fails to drain off smoothly and it is gross to be standing in a pool of dirty soapy water as you shower. In this day & age it is surprising that this hotel can still get a 4* rating. All these very average if not substandard issues really do not do Nice, an exciting and pretty city, justice.
So this hotel does not live up to their claim as 4* and we will seek elsewhere when we visit enticing Nice again.
NNat 李凤临Cleaning ladies were demonstrating 53 days in front of the hotel when I arrived. The rotating door was covered with mud and confetti, while the black women danced to loud African beats. A complete shock! They continued during my stay…
The front desk was super helpful after I contacted their manager. My flight was delayed and I arrived a day late so they managed to modify my reservation without extra payment. My card didn’t work so I gave a cash deposit and they sent me an email when my suitcase that had been delayed arrived (so as not to wake me up).
The housekeeping was average- twice they didn’t restock the water. Once they forgot a cleaning chemical. Another time they didn’t restock the decaffeinated capsules. Also they could have been more generous with the toilet paper. It’s the very thin recycled one, that goes fast.
Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant spacious, with a garden overlooking the marina.
The room was large, modern and quiet, with an amazing view of the harbor, including both sunsets and sunrises! I even saw the incredible half an hour long fireworks for Bastille day right under my window!
The bed is big and comfortable, pillows a bit too soft, lighting is good but there are no toiletries (which was initially problematic due to the lost luggage).
Room service wasn’t available the only night that I wanted to order it - due to Bastille day celebrations.
The QR code don’t work on my phone so I had to call the reception to order. Also there was no alcoholic drinks listed, plus I had no fridge in the room, so I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy my holiday.
The hotel doesn’t have a spa, which is a shame. So I made a reservation online and got a massage in the Hammam spa a few minutes from the hotel)very expensive and not great). The closest one to the hotel was closed.
The pool is gorgeous but in another building which requires another elevator to be taken at the ground floor. A bit of a hassle…The gym is basic but good. Gets pretty busy and dirty at the end of the day.
There are many nice restaurants nearby and even a small Proxi shop. There is a bus stop 1min away, that goes to the Terrace du Port. And the taxi conveniently dropped me off right in front of the hotel.
The Mucem and Cosquer caves visible from the hotel, are a bit pleasant 25min walk away and the well worth the visit.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, and would come again if the above issues were resolved.
MMrs_TravelGreat hotel at a nice location. It is always a 15 mins walk to the city center. Parking was ok, though 32 euro a night which is at the higher end. Breakfast was 33 euro for a person, it was good but it didn’t worth its high price. We went for a brunch the other morning and it was perfect - the place is right next to the opera, amazing vibe. It is called Deïa Coffee & Kitchen. It is good service overall, thanks for having us.
GGuest UserThe location was not too far from the old port. The metro is easily accessible around the corner. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was ok but it is better to eat at a local bakery. If I am in Marseille again I would return here.

XXibanyalaodaiThe room is spacious, but the location is a bit messy. I dare not go out on the surrounding streets. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, and there is no temporary parking space in front of the hotel. Self-driving travel is not recommended. The parking lot recommended by the hotel is a bit far away and costs 30 euros a night.
IIrisTuI have to warn that this hotel is at the top of the mountain and the train only takes you to the bottom of the mountain so you need to either take taxi or bus to get to the Eze village. BUT, eze village is not the end of story. From eze village to the hotel you still need to climb and there are almost stairs not slope. The hotel has a dedicated staff to help you carry the luggage upstairs but that man might be too tired that day (we have two 25inch luggages) so his attitude was very impatient to us. Seeing him being so exhausted making us feeling sorry and his bad attitude add more to this sad feeling.
When we were checking in, we told the reception desk that we need to take the train the other day at 8am so please have the luggage staff to carry our luggage down to Eze village at 7am so we can take taxi at 7:15am and the train wold be 8am. That guy was late and didn’t even show up till we left (around 7:13am). Instead, the reception desk gentleman helped us to carry the luggage downstairs.
It was after the rain and we were in a hurry to catch the train so my 59 year old mom fell off the stairs and broke her fingers. Thanks god it was not a severe injury but as a daughter I am really regret to have chosen this hotel. It’s my mom’s first visit in Europe and I wanted to treat her with a a nice staycation at a 5 star hotel in Southern France but it turned out to be a regret.
The reception desk service was excellent and fits a 5-star standard. We received warm welcome from the reception desk lady who told us not to take it personally because the luggage staff might be too tired. Also, many thanks for the reception gentleman who stood out when the luggage guy was late, without the whom we could have missed the train (and the flight too)
We stayed in standard twin beds room. The room facilities and furnitures are shown as the picture attached. We didn’t take the welcome drink and try the Michelin restaurant as we were not in good mood.
GGuest UserThe service attitude was very good. I arrived at the hotel very late. They opened the door for me and checked me in in a timely manner. The room was very quiet, but I didn't find a hair dryer. However, everything else was very good. There was free water in the refrigerator and a small balcony. I will continue to book next time I come!
