"Complaint about the cleanliness of my room at B&B Hotel I would like to make a complaint regarding the cleanliness and housekeeping standards of my room at your B&B Hotel. After the room had supposedly been cleaned, I noticed that the bed linen had not been changed. There were still visible stains on the bed sheet, and I also found several hairs on the bed. This gave me the clear impression that the bedding had not been replaced before my stay, which is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene. From what I could see, the only cleaning that had been done was vacuuming the floor, cleaning the sink, and wiping the table. However, the most important part of preparing the room for a new guest – providing clean, freshly changed bed linen – was not done. I have attached photos showing the stains on the bed sheet and the hairs left on the bedding. These clearly demonstrate the poor standard of cleanliness in the room. I am very disappointed with this experience, as it does not meet the level of cleanliness and hygiene that guests should reasonably expect from a hotel. I would appreciate an explanation as to why the bed linen was not changed and would like this matter to be investigated and resolved appropriately. I look forward to your response."

"Good location, was able to check bags in a little earlier than 3pm with helped us out LOADS! Room was nice, had air con which was fantastic as was a very hot day. Only thing I can fault is that it was a family room (which we needed) but the beds was quiet high my youngest is 3 & he fell out the bed in the night & hurt himself. Could do with those side rails that you can slip under the mattress to stop the kids from falling out. Partfrom that couldn’t really fault them. Oh also, it’s was LOVELY AND QUIET the whole time we was there, which made the trip as when you’ve had a busy day out and about the last thing you want is to be able to hear everybody else. But there was NO EXTERNAL NOISE!"

With vibrant sea views, elegant accommodation and plenty to do and see, the Best Western The Hatfield Hotel is a great place to stay while soaking the beautiful atmosphere of the seaside town of Lowestoft. You will be warmly greeted at the hotel, where staff are known for their cheerful, helpful attitude.

"The hotel was overall very good value and certainly worth the stay due to its excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and convenient location. However, the main drawback is the parking situation. Parking is limited, with only a small number of spaces available across the road and on the nearby one-way street. This can create unnecessary stress when trying to leave a vehicle safely and securely. While this may not be a concern for all guests, for some it can be a significant issue, particularly when staying for several days. The parking area is also used by non-residents who visit the hotel for drinks or meals, meaning spaces are often occupied by patrons rather than hotel guests. As a result, residents may find themselves repeatedly checking for available spaces when visitors leave, rather than being able to park properly and confidently upon arrival. This uncertainty can detract from an otherwise very positive hotel experience."

It is set in the heart of rural Newmarket; just 1.4 miles from Newmarket racecourse and 2.3 miles from The National Stud. The stunning collection of bedrooms include a self-contained Townhouse and The Kings Suite; which features an antique four poster bed and Edward VIIs original bath and taps. The elegant bedrooms retain their character and charm and all come equipped with free Wi-Fi; flat screen TV; and en-suite bathroom. Guests can experience extraordinary fine dining in Georgian splendour. Free parking. A Classic British Hotel / CB. Stay inspired.

"Experience a charming stay @Jockey club rooms, Newmarket (near Cambridge, UK) A truly traditional and sophisticated stay at the Jockey Club Rooms. Our deluxe room overlooked the beautifully kept gardens, and the interiors — especially the Colefax & Fowler fabrics — felt timeless and elegant. The bathroom was enormous, almost larger than the bedroom, and the whole property is filled with classic equestrian art and heritage charm. We enjoyed champagne in the private members’ bar, a rare privilege for overnight guests, and breakfast was exceptional — from eggs Benedict to eggs Royal, kippers, pancakes and more, all served in a grand dining room. Easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. The atmosphere is old‑world English tradition at surprisingly accessible prices, with free parking and a perfect High Street location. Ideal for visiting Cambridge or Suffolk — and we loved being able to stroll to Thai Kitchen for dinner. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, history, and understated luxury - all for the price of a room in the Premier inn!"

"We stayed at hotel whilst having work done in our house. We like the hotel as can take the dog with us. The room we had is in a courtyard, so ground level. A good size room for 2 and a dog. We didnt use too many of hotel facilities as we were trying keep cost down. We have used restaurant and bar before. Enjoyed food. See below for roast dinner had on previous visit. Afternoon tea was really nice. Good patjing facilities but there is some major roadworks near by. We declined to have any housekeeping and got 2 free drinks. Nice grounds and would imagine lovely in summer. Air con now in rooms. A little update of bathroom wouldn't hurt. Seal to show mouldy. Taps, plugs worn. Also cant make out picture content in room 32. Needs to be reviewed!!"

"Arrived late at night & was greeted pleasantly. Walked into my room & very basic, but that’s fine for what I paid. However as I was trying to sleep, all I could hear from the person next door in the bath & noises weren’t very pleasant. After failing to sleep, I then ordered a taxi to stay with a friend locally. When I handed the keys back, the staff asked me why I was leaving in the early hours & I explained my experience & said that they would contact me re a potential refund, but still haven’t heard from them to date. I wouldn’t fault cleansers or reception staff but my room needs a much needed upgrade & would recommend management to spend a night in a room, so they can experience it for themselves & realise that they are loosing business due to its present state."

I was greeted by a lovely young lady who made me very welcome. I was struggling with my luggage so she helped me up to the room, it was a great help. The facilities here are amazing, made use of the pool, spa & sauna. Had a relaxing drink in the bar. Haven't eaten here as I am visiting family & been eating with them but the food does smell amazing. My room is a single but is perfect the bed is more queen size than single & very comfy.

A very foggy cold night after a busy day it was nice to be welcomed by a friendly and informative receptionist. One nights stay room with small balcony overlooking the golf course and an incredible heater. Water pressure in shower is low but water hot The rooms feel they would benefit from being updated a few ******* . *TV remote didn't turn TV off had to get up and pop hand behind set and turn off at socket. **The hair on the bath definitely not mine! **No obvious hairdryer. ***Room Service called twice extn not answered went via reception transferred to the bar salmon cream cheese on brown ordered arrived quickly unfortunately on white bread. Pink G&T delicious. Breakfast. Warm welcome and explanation offered from team. Great variety and the hot food was hot. **** The team brief at the bar perhaps could have been carried out elsewhere. I really enjoyed my stay at the premiere inn. I was hesitant at first but it was only one of a few places in bury that offered twin beds. Location was great, backed on to the Abby gardens, and a short walk into town.  Checkin was fine, you could do it yourself digitally or a real Person could help!! The staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about products and procedures, ie dinner, there were lots of desks and choices.  We hadn’t planned to eat there but the menu looks extensive and had some great new healthy options. Do we had dinner and happy hour wines.  Breakfast was immense too.  Shower was hot, pillows were plump, room was clean.  I did wonder why we did t have a fridge or bottled water but it was no biggy.  Overall I’d stay again.
