My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights for valentines. We very much enjoyed our stay overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms were very clean and had all the amenities we needed. When leaving we were able to leave our luggage for just £1 a suitcase which was very convenient. For the price I thought the food was good quality, however if you are looking for more of a cooked breakfast this isn’t the place. The location was very accessible and we were able to walk to everywhere easily. However it did get very noisy from about 5 in the morning.

Lovely overnight stay at Queens for a concert in the city. Location is ideal (attached to the train station). Excellent, friendly staff. Did online check in before arrival which made it quick and simple to collect key card from the reception. The room was spacious and clean with everything you’d need. Limited noise from outside even though the hotel is slap bang in the city centre. Would stay again.

The location is great because the hotel located in city centre. The room was comfortable and the toilet and shower area was clean. The reception staff was lovely and welcoming. There is a functioning lift but I was staying on the first floor so I mainly use the stairs. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and will surely coming back whenever I come to Leeds.
Place is very near to the Bus station which is the most important thing. Very polite and nice staff, accomodating and there is always someone in the desk when you need something. The place is clean, a bit old but still comfortable to sleep with. My kid is so happy, though it rained all throughout out visit. The only downside is no kettle for hot water when we want a hot drink. But our stay is still a pleasant experience for us.

The hotel is brand new, and the room is incredibly spacious with no unpleasant odors. The smart climate control kept the temperature very comfortable. The bed was soft and the window was large, which really helped me shake off the fatigue from staying in some super old hotels in France. I definitely want to come back again! pool was good, rules properly enforced
location was good, not a noisy area
concierge were really helpful with our luggage situation and let us know that we could check in early if we were members of IHG
Fab hotel, great location from train station.
Lots of places to eat and drink outside and by the
canal. Great room, very clean, comfy bed, lovely views, quiet. Love the Sky Lounge, staff are really helpful and friendly, my favourite hotel in Leeds.

One drawback of this hotel is that there is no free Wi-Fi. However, the room is a good size and very clean. There was no hairdryer provided, but overall, the room was comfortable and well maintained.
Nice enough hotel, room was spacious and well equipped. But it was a little bit old and grubby in the bathroom, not terrible but not brilliant. The old building is lovely but the extensions are pretty ghastly.

We arrived by train so it was crucial that it was literally a few minutes walk from the railway station and it was in the city centre which was ideal for us.
Gino D'Acampo restaurant was good quality at reasonable price.
Room was spacious and quiet. It had a safe, large TV, tea/coffee, refrigerator, walk in shower (no climbing over a bath)
Minimal contact with staff but where we did interact they were pleasant, polite and helpful.

GGuest UserAll of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly during my stay which added to the experience. The hotel is truly lovely and the setting is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and the views from the rooms and bar were amazing but it’s the high level of customer service that makes me want to return and recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Wakefield.
GGuest UserI was very happy with the service and the hotel my room was large and spacious. The hotel staff were prompt professional and very nice. I liked the location and I was nearby. I think breakfast could have had a better selection I was just a little grumpy because there were no hashie Bs. Overall a 8/10 I really enjoyed my stay
GGuest UserThis was mine & my daughter’s second visit to the hotel, the first time was excellent on all counts. This time sadly the breakfast wasn’t very good, the sausages, eggs & hash browns were luke warm & tasted like they had been sat there for quite a while, so we ended up leaving that food. Also, sadly, the two coffee machines were out of order so we just had to have instant coffee.
Our room was lovely & spacious though & the reception staff were nice & friendly. The hotel is in a good location for walking into the city centre.
GGuest UserGood hotel with (paid) parking. Clean and maintained well rooms. Small coolers/fridges are also available on request. Good cheap alternative to hotels more central to the neighbouring cities
LLadyMarahGreat location, very quiet peaceful area beautiful room and very clean I lived it . But my stay would have been better if everything had gone smoothly I Just had a problem with the hotel asking for a deposit and not accepting cash for it , I do understand policies are different but after a 12hour flight plus 3 hour train ride all I needed was to get my room and rest but I had to sit for over 20 plus minutes trying to figure out what to do with my situation.I suggest they should be more accommodating and attentive to different situations and customers circumstances rather than just saying we don’t accept this and not willing to find a solution to help. Later on after about 30 minutes or so a very nice friendly manager came to my rescue and found a solution .which could have been done in the first place than having a customer wait for long because someone else is not willing to budge and understand a situation and find a solution.
TTara salisburyI booked as I wanted a hotel near leeds first direct arena fantastic location for this purpose was a 5min walk away and I'm a slow walker due to a bad knee. I booked a twin room the beds were bigger than a standard single bed very comfy and dont get me started on the pillows they were just perfect! The staff on each shift were lovely and welcoming, I got a great surprise as didnt realise the room included a complementary breakfast, it was buffet style so wasn't really expecting much from it I couldn't have been more wrong it was lovely and plenty of variety even down to a machine to make your own waffles!
I will definitely book there again on my next visit to leeds
GGuest UserNice place. The room was a decent size. Reception very good. The bar area was very, very busy and very, very understaffed. They were complaining about people paying in cash as they were running out of change. There are still a lot of people who only use cash, myself included. The breakfast was quite good but disappointed that you didn't have any butter, just margarine, which I feel tastes disgusting. I think for the prices paid that you could stretch to a bit f butter.
RRealerTheGreatMy 3rd time here. Always the best budget place to stay! Easy access to motorways, huge amount of parking spots! And not to mention, easy access to the service station next to it with Starbucks, McDonald’s, KFC.
Will come again!
