This property offers exceptional value and is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the area. The cleanliness is good, and the staff truly go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Overall, it's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Traveling with our 8-year-old daughter, we were provided with a triple room. Its location is exceptionally convenient, with a dedicated walkway connecting directly to Okayama Station. The room itself was very spacious. We would have loved to try the breakfast, but as we had an early train to Takamatsu the next morning, we couldn't book it. From the smooth check-in process, it was clear this was a well-established, high-star hotel that truly prides itself on its standards.
Nice hotel with a very cosy room. Clean and deep very well. Just in the west side of the station and can reach without a minute of walk! Will definitely come back again next time to Okayama!
A typical Dormy Inn with good spa, evening noodle ice cream and in particular good service. When I checked out, the front desk staff went to outside of the hotel to try to get me a taxi.
Is right at the tourist spot but not within walking distance to the station ( less than ¥500 by taxi ).
If you like Dormy Inn, this one would not disappoint you. Also the spa clam to be able to heal a lot of diseases. Hope is right.
Overall, a great stay. The room was quite spacious; I could comfortably lay out my 24-inch suitcase. Toiletries were provided, including small samples of DHC cleansing oil, toner, and moisturizer. The location isn't super close to the station, but it's an easy walk to JR Okayama Station. Breakfast was also very good. The overall flavors were on the milder side, but you could add soy sauce to taste. Compared to several other hotels I've stayed at, this one offered a wider selection of desserts. The cream puffs were absolutely delicious! And the grilled sausages were excellent, with a crispy skin and plenty of juice.
We are a family travelling with 3 kids so we drive a car, and factored in luggage space.
1) Vessel hotel has hands-down one of the best beds ever! We checked and realised it was a Simmons mattress so the beds really offered us deep & restful sleep!! Love this!
2) The carpark was right outside the hotel so it was super convenient not having to walk up & down diff storeys to take things from car. We returned to hotel ard 10pm on 1 night & there were no more parking lots! We’d have to park at a multi-storey building that was 12mins walk away, which wld have been v convenient.
3) The breakfast was yummy. We went in summer & enjoyed the Barazushi (Okayama special during festivals) & the rice was sweet, salty, flavourful, and delicious with prawn, eggs, eel, lotus roots (see pic). Really yummy! Try it
4) Hotel staff were very helpful! We asked for an extra luggage stand so we wldnt need to bend too low & they brought it immediately.
5) There’s a big supermarket just across the road with cheap groceries that we stocked up on for our road trip.
6) If you intend to drive, this is a highly recommend hotel in Kurashiki!! Wld stay here again! It was great!
Right near the historic canal area with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around, this hotel has a great location. The room was very clean and WiFi worked great.
The only weird thing to me was breakfast, which were pre-packaged sandwiches (tasted great by the way!). Outside of breakfast hours you weren't allowed to get coffee from the machine, you had to use boiled water and instant coffee instead in your room, a missed chance for something so benign.
The hotel is located just out of the Okayama station. Super great hotel with excellent service, super easy to access the airport limousine! Highly recommended!
The hotel staff is friendly, and it is unexpected to have such a hotel in this area. The hotel does not have many facilities, but it provides microwaves, coffee, etc., so it is not a problem for guests to stay for a short time.
The staff was kind and polite.
The food was delicious for dinner and breakfast.
We had a summer festival event, and there was also a candy corner where we could get incense fireworks and candy!
I was able to spend very comfortable and relaxing.

Amazing
BBee-bee-goNew beautiful hotel very close to the station (5 min walk) in a great location in the middle of restaurant and downtown area. The rooms are tiny so it’ll be just a place to sleep as you can hardly open a large suitcase, but the hotel has a nice lounge on the top floor. The room is super clean and has a fridge as well as a small electric kettle to make tea. This room had a full bathroom with a large bathtub but we preferred going to the big bathroom upstairs. When I stayed at a smaller room on another day, it only had a shower so it seems to differ by type of room. The breakfast set needs to be purchased separately but we thought it was worth it. The hot dish alternates between Western and Japanese style on a daily basis, and the buffet had all kinds of dishes including a very yummy Japanese style curry. Also, the lounge had a great terrace with an amazing view of the surrounding hills. In overall, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay to the extent we ended up extending our stay for a few days.

SSiren500It's hard to describe...
1. The facilities are old. In addition to the two sockets on the table, there is one at the door of the toilet, and the main point is that you forget to take it away. They sell everything under the concept of environmental protection, water is 100, various vending machines, and toothbrushes and toothpaste are taken downstairs.
2. The bathroom bar is definitely cleaner than in China, maybe because it's old. Anyway, the table and bedspread look a bit uncomfortable. I ordered a big bed, and the bedspread made my butt itch after using it for a while
3. It's far away from Okayama, 20 minutes walk, mainly because the road is bumpy all the way there, it's really not friendly to pull a big suitcase. From the hotel to the nearby dining place is basically equivalent to walking back to the station. Even the convenience store is less than 10 minutes away, which is definitely not the distance to buy water in slippers and coats.
4. I spent a long time looking for the name when I checked in, and I met a wave of business meeting guests. Who said Japan is quiet?
If it's a good place, it includes breakfast, and the variety is quite rich. Early in the morning, curry rice, French bread and coffee...

JJennifer DianeGreat location, next to train station and ferry terminals. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. I stayed in a cabin, and it was fine for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. The common area has a microwave, fridge, kettles, a selection of teas that you can make in a pot, bottled water and complementary treats. The hotel offered a free voucher for a nearby onsen, which looked lovely, but I did not visit it. The hotel also stored my luggage after checkout while I visited Naoshima. It's a little pricey for a cabin, but I was very happy with my stay.
Nnick.ngPrice: Single rooms are cheap, even lower than some capsule hotels.
Room: Except for the small size of the room, everything else was good.
Location: Conveniently located, 5 minutes’ walk from JR Kurashiki Station
TTiffany Ann BooneThis is all about the location, not the faciity. It is walking distance from the castle and for that reason alone it is worth staying here. However, do not expect anything other than your average aged hotel. It does have washing machines but you will be in a tussle to try and secure one for yourself because you will be competing with dozens of people. Staff is friendly and they have ammenties out, to take as you need. All in all a great value for the area.

MMINNAMIt is near the Kurasaki Bikan Historical Quarter, so it is good for exploring the Bikan Historical Quarter, but it is a bit far from Kurasaki Station, so it takes about 15 minutes on foot.
It is old, but well-maintained, and the breakfast is delicious, although it does not have many varieties.
It is a decent hotel for a one-day stay.
