"I stayed at this hotel when I had an exam at a nearby venue. I forgot something I needed and consulted the hotel staff. Even though it was the middle of the night, the front desk staff member went out of his way to help me, and thanks to him, I was able to safely make it to the exam venue the next morning. "I stayed with Wakoshi Tobu last year (long stay with friends) and 2 nights stay solo this time. My favorite hotel in Japan as I can rest very well in their very comfy bed and pillows (4 for solo), big bathroom and bathtub, and purifier and sofa in room. Front desk staff are always friendly and welcoming and housekeeping is perfect. I transited from Shizuoka to Wakoshi Tobu to Seibo hospital (for wounds check yesterday before flying home today) due to a serious fall in Mochimune Shizuoka seaside park. Wakoshi Tobu is the perfect location with an attached mall, for the hospital visit and Haneda airport."

"It's almost directly connected to the station, and there's a convenience store next door. There's a large public bath. They even have late-night soba noodles. I can see why it's so popular. However, perhaps because it's so popular, or perhaps because there are no other hotels, there are a lot of customers. When I went to the public bath quite late at night, it was so crowded that there were no spaces available for washing. They didn't anticipate something like that, and it's probably something you've never experienced at any other hotel, so I guess the hotel didn't anticipate it either. It was a surreal situation, with everyone lined up naked in the changing room. The bathtub was big, but not that big, so it almost ended up being a family bath with strangers. The bed springs are a bit too soft, it's starting to hurt my back."

"It is a beautiful hotel located near the train station and a shopping mall, making it convenient to find food and supplies. On the first night, the air conditioner in my room had a musty odor, so I asked to change rooms; the staff provided excellent service and quickly arranged a new one. However, the carpet in the room had significant stains—it would be great if the hotel could clean them—but it was still tolerable, and since I had a lot of luggage, I decided not to move rooms again. On the third night, we returned to our room and found it hadn't been cleaned. We immediately notified the hotel staff; they promptly removed the trash and did their best to assist us. We had previously requested that the room be cleaned daily after 11:00 AM."

"This hotel was a fantastic find! The large public bath on the second floor was super convenient, making it unnecessary to shower in the room and keeping the room dry. A 14.8 sqm room was perfectly adequate for one person. All rooms face south, so the futons get sun exposure daily, and you can open the windows for ventilation, which is a big plus. The mini-fridge has an on/off switch, so you can turn it off to reduce noise and energy consumption if you don't need it. The room was brand new and odor-free. If you don't leave your room before 10 AM, they won't clean it that day, but you can leave your trash bin outside your door for staff to empty. No water is provided in the room, but there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven within 10 meters downstairs. On the first floor, you can self-service toiletries, tea bags, and ice cream bars. Electric bicycles are available for rent at the entrance. Getting to Tokyo and Shinjuku is easy, but make sure to take the rapid or limited express trains on the subway, as the local trains that stop at every station can be a bit of a drag. For 390, the room rate includes breakfast and two hot spring baths a day. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Omiya Station. The east exit has Takashimaya, while the west exit has Sogo and 0101 (with a large Montbell on the first floor where you can get tax refunds). There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Windsor Racket is about 10 meters to the left in front of the hotel, though they don't have many new arrivals. Inside the station, you'll find Lumine and Lumine 2, which includes Beams. Isomaru Suisan is just 50 meters outside the west exit of the station. Omiya is also a Shinkansen station, making it very convenient to go north to Karuizawa. It only took about an hour from the hotel to the Karuizawa Outlet. The station itself is huge and often sells delicious and reasonably priced local strawberries, tomatoes, and apples. There's also a branch of the famous Sembikiya strawberry cream sandwich shop inside the station. The hotel's breakfast was incredibly rich and satisfying, mainly Japanese-style with plenty of soups and dishes. The value for money is exceptional. They also offer unlimited free takeaway coffee every day. I feel like this is the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed at in Japan. Staying for a full week costs about the same as one night in the city. It's an absolute steal!"

"foreigners beware.  the bald headed guy with glasses at the reception is a terrible host. he declined to offer to show us to our rooms and help us with our luggage.  he also did not help with the luggage when we asked for help with our luggage out when we checked out. when we checked out he was also not friendly to help with taqbin. luckily familymart was kind enough to help us with our taqbin luggage"

"I booked this hotel in order to go to My Neighbor Totoro Forest, which was unexpectedly good. Breakfast is really worth the price. It costs more than 2,900 yen for a separate order. "After visiting Sendai, we stopped in Omiya on our way to Echigo-Yuzawa. This hotel is located on the west exit of Omiya Station. It's incredibly clean and conveniently located. The room was spacious enough for two adults and one child. The night view was fantastic, offering a great city skyline. We appreciated the self-service check-in and check-out, and the free luggage storage using a key card. The surrounding area was also great for exploring."
