Review of Cinnamon Red Hotel, Colombo I stayed at Cinnamon Red Hotel in Colombo from 14th to 18th August, and overall, it was a wonderful experience that combined comfort, convenience, and modern design. Location The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to get around the city. Many attractions, shops, and cultural landmarks are just a short drive away, which made exploring stress-free. Rooms & Comfort The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with a stylish, modern touch. The bed was very comfortable, and the large windows offered an excellent view of the city skyline. It was a relaxing space to return to after a day out. Service The staff were welcoming, efficient, and attentive. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled smoothly, and any requests were quickly taken care of with professionalism. Overall Experience Cinnamon Red is a stylish and modern hotel that offers excellent value. It delivers the quality and comfort of a premium stay while keeping things relaxed and accessible. I would definitely recommend it to both business and leisure travelers looking for a convenient base in Colombo.

I had a wonderful stay at Amari Colombo Sri Lanka. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, with modern amenities that made everything convenient. The location was excellent, close to everything we needed. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Facilities such as the pool and dining options were fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the food. Overall, a perfect experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Colombo.

Great stay overall! I booked a bunk bed and was really impressed with the setup. The room was clean and comfortable, and the extra facilities available. The room had a locker, and there was an iron available, The shared kitchen area was well-equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, and the rest area was a nice spot to relax. The Wi-Fi was strong, and the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. The staff – they were supportive & friendly. Everything was well-maintained and the environment felt safe and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We had a day to kill before our late night flight home, so booked a room and used the hotel facilities. The rooftop pool and jacuzzis are excellent. Decent range of food and drinks you can order up there. Also had a choice of many restaurants on site for our dinner. The room itself was lovely and met our needs in terms of having somewhere to freshen up before the airport. Note that the room has a window but it’s completely frosted, so you get natural light but no visibility. It didn’t bother us but might be an issue if you were staying longer. I don’t like that there’s a huge window between the bedroom and bathroom, esp when staying with a friend.

The room is spacious, very clean and cozy, with a window to the outside that provides plenty of natural light. The breakfast, although offered à la carte, is excellent and varied. In addition, the staff is very attentive and always willing to help you; if you need anything else during breakfast, they do not hesitate to assist you. Overall, this hotel is a very good option for a short stay at the beginning of your visit to Sri Lanka. Its pleasant atmosphere and the attention of the staff make the experience even more pleasant.

We absolutely loved our stay here, we had a free upgrade to one of the newer rooms on check in the service is fantastic in all areas of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent with so many options, dinner in Mambos is a must to enjoy good food, the live music and dancing. And our personal favourite was the Traveler’s bar, the staff are extremely attentive and the views and atmosphere are spectacular.
