Has a slight hiccup getting to the hotel as you have to use the underpass to cross the road. But other than that, enjoyed our stay here! Short 5 mins walk from station, hotel is located right next to the river and bridge! Very nice view, esp from the bridge. Room is tight but has long corridor to open our luggage. Bathtub was big. Convenience store just downstairs, walkable to many attractions and Aeon supermarket! Will be back!

However, for a hotel with this number of rooms, the outdoor hot spring is a bit smaller than expected (it just so happens that the largest open-air pool at Hanamaki Hotel is closed in winter). In addition, there should be more flexible transfer services between the four hotels. The Red Leaf Pavilion is connected to Jiasong Garden, and you have to drag your luggage onto the bus yourself. The service's responsiveness needs to be strengthened. Please understand that we have come from afar and want to experience different hotel styles.

Richmond Hotel Morioka Ekimae Located directly opposite JR Morioka Station, accessible via an underground passage. It's also convenient to walk along the sidewalk at ground level if you have luggage. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, and you can access it from the hotel with your room card. We checked in at 2:45 PM. We had booked a compact twin room (non-smoking), but the hotel upgraded us to a larger room with three beds. The moment we stepped into the room, two words came to mind: 'utter comfort.' There was plenty of space with three beds, a sofa, a small coffee table, and a work desk. The sink was outside the bathroom, with a separate wet and dry area. There was also a clothes dryer and a multi-functional charging cable. From the bedside, we could see Kaiun Bridge and JR Morioka Station. Morioka Castle Site Park was only about a 15-minute walk away. The Dendenmushi Morioka Loop Bus is also available for use. The dinner buffet is spacious, with many items and delicious, especially snacks and ice cream at first glance, but matcha Fernan snow and rose ice cream are unforgettable. The soup part, three can be added to the fun, but in fact, my personal experience is that the soup in the red leaf restaurant is more abundant, the new soup in the Hanamaki Hotel has only one pool, very boring; in addition, it is recommended to give a few more small towels, because everyone may soak everywhere.

The room is clean this time. It was a beautiful room. It was good to be a twin as a wide 々. However, it is a pity that I couldn't want a non-smoking room because there were only ”partial non-smoking” or smoking rooms on the reservation site at the time of booking. As a result, I was glad that I was able to call directly and change to a non-smoking room, but I felt that I wanted you to prepare a lot of completely non-smoking rooms. I feel unfair when I think that I could use it at a cheaper price in a smoking room. I am satisfied because the breakfast was very delicious in the buffet style. The correspondence of the staff was also kind.

Superb onsen hotel. We took sea view and it was superb with a small balcony. Room are very confortable and big. Onsen was excellent with an outside bath looking at the bay. We had dinner also and it was 5 star. Staff were super helpful (front desk, restaurant etc)

The staff were very friendly and even though I checked in late at night, they greeted me politely with a smile. The large communal bath was clean and the facilities were good, and there was a sauna too, so it was very comfortable. I stayed alone in a double room, but it was spacious enough and there was a sofa so I was comfortable. There was no information about a wake-up call, so I asked the front desk and they told me that one was available there.

It was much cheaper than travel arrangement services in Japan, so I made a reservation through this site, which I usually use when traveling abroad. I usually use hotels within the prefecture when I use Hokans, but I have used this one far more often, and this was my fourth time. The selling points of this hotel are its ”good location” and ”high quality breakfast.” Although it is located in the middle of a main street in the downtown area, it is close to the station, and there are convenience stores, supermarkets, and parking lots nearby. The breakfast is a typical buffet style, but all four types of curry are delicious, and the use of locally produced ingredients such as yogurt, hittsumi soup, and hitomebore white rice is a great point, and combined with the high cost performance, it is worth noting. There is no denying that the facilities are old, but they are not unpleasant and I would say that the quality and service are sufficient. I hope that they will continue to manage this good value for money and high quality.

Next to the train station. When compared to other hotels, there aren’t many amenities to use. But they do have the necessary amenities.

Breakfast was Good , room and toilet looks clean , just that surrounding has not much amenities.
