As for me,Sy suggest hotel ni jika bercuti di terengganu
I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Grand Continental Kuala Terengganu. The cleanliness was good and the rooms were comfortable. The location is excellent, very convenient and close to many attractions. The service was generally good, though there is still some room for improvement. The amenities provided were also good and sufficient for a comfortable stay. Overall, it is a nice hotel for business travellers with a great location and reliable facilities.
I had a pleasant stay at Di Citi Plaza & Hotel in Kuala Terengganu. The location is excellent — right in the city center, making it easy to access nearby attractions, shops, and eateries. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable and spacious room that provided good value for the price.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The Wi-Fi connection was stable, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly — a big plus in the hot weather.
Breakfast was simple but satisfying, offering local and light options. Parking can be a bit limited during peak hours, but overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade — the new room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a great experience and good value for money. Would definitely consider staying here again!
Would definitely recommend this hotel for short stays or business trips in Kuala Terengganu.
We enjoyed our stay. 5 days was too short! The restaurant food was better than expected and they have a spa inside the hotel. The location was perfect! I would like to stay here again!
Booked 3D1N with release turtle pkg, very worth it. Staff very friendly. Resort look old but consider clean.
Kids like the beach so much. Water and beach also clean and not much ppl during holiday season.
I recently stayed at Hotel Tanjong Vista in Kuala Terengganu and had a mixed experience. While the location was excellent—close to eateries, laundry services, seaview room and KTCC Mall—the overall stay left much to be desired.
Unfortunately, the room had a strong smell of cigar smoke, which was quite unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room also needs improvement, as it didn’t meet the standards I expected.
As for the breakfast, it was very basic and not up to standard. There was limited variety and the quality could definitely be improved.
That said, the hotel’s strategic location is a major plus, especially for those looking to explore the city or run errands nearby.
I was furious when checking out. I had accidentally injured my leg with two small cuts while out at sea with friends, so I returned to the hotel clinic for treatment. They assured me the cuts were superficial and nothing to worry about, and the on-site service was very pleasant.
We asked the medic about the price and confirmed it multiple times. They reassured us the treatment fee would be less than 20 RM, putting our minds at ease. So, we proceeded with the treatment right away: iodine cleaning, sterile dressing, and antiseptic ointment. After the cleaning, they also gave us two strips of medication (which we assumed were included in the 20 RM) for promoting blood circulation and reducing swelling.
However, when we checked out, the bill came to 181 RM!!! The medic then appeared in the lobby with a printed form, completely reneging on their previous quote. The new breakdown was 100 RM for wound care (iodine, bandage, labor) and 80 RM for medication!!! This amounted to approximately 300 RMB!!!
Unfortunately, as two young women in a foreign country with no audio evidence, we didn't feel comfortable arguing further. So, we reluctantly paid 180 RM in cash (we were rushing to catch our flight home and didn't get a chance to photograph the receipt), as we didn't want to jeopardize our departure plans for that day.
Our entire trip to Perhentian Islands and the hotel service had been wonderful, which made this incident at the very last minute even more frustrating. We felt completely ripped off, and it instantly spoiled our mood 💢. Had they told me the wound care would cost 100 RM upfront, I would have accepted it. However, the vast difference between the initial quote and the final bill left us utterly speechless.
This is a heads-up for everyone: always keep evidence of any incurred costs to avoid getting scammed.
With a stay at Tijami Villa & Resort in Setiu, you'll be 14.5 mi (23.4 km) from Merang Jetty and 17 mi (27.3 km) from Sutra Beach. This bed & breakfast is 20 mi (32.2 km) from Institut Teknologi Petroleum and 22.1 mi (35.5 km) from Pagar Besi Beach.
Take in the views from a terrace and a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access.
Local cuisine breakfasts are available daily from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM for a fee.
The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 8 guestrooms featuring microwaves. Private bathrooms with showers feature hair dryers and slippers. Conveniences include desks, housekeeping is provided on request, and irons/ironing boards can be requested.
Absolutely relaxing break during the long week end. Great place to unwind. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. I stayed in standard chalet, which is basic but met my requirements at the price I paid. Located next to the jetty, it is easy to access by boats. I recommend this place for solo travellers as well as families.
Front desk reception is very polite and helpful. Strategic location for business and shopping. Room clean and complete with amenities. Convenient with nearby bus terminal.

AAnonymous UserIt's normal but it's ok to have a place to sleep and rest for a while. But don't expect anything fancy. The budget hotel is really old-fashioned but it's good to have a coway. The bed is not hard, the shower tap water is fast.

MMiaSurayaOk for 1 night stay.
Bedroom is small around 25meter. Toilet is ok and can be better in cleaning. Parking is behind the hotel. The drawbridge is visible from the window. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The price of this room is affordable too.
LLalisa Amir1. Cleanliness: Truly impressed! Despite being surrounded by trees, the resort is spotless—no fallen leaves, even in the hammock and gazebo areas. Many resorts offer similar setups but lack this level of cleanliness. Big applause to the team—10/10!
2. Service: Exceptional! While casually chatting with staff at the beach, they recognized my name just by hearing the room number. It happened multiple times—amazing memory and attention to detail, especially during a full-house stay. I was honestly wowed.
3. Private Dinner – South Sea Experience: Our waiter, Bayu, was outstanding. Friendly, proactive (offered to take our photo), and full of integrity. He even apologized for a minor food mix-up we didn’t notice—rare to see such ownership. Truly commendable.
4. Surprise Gesture: After dinner, we returned to a beautifully arranged bathtub with bubbles and flowers—completely unexpected. Another thoughtful “wow” moment.
GGuest UserThe Peridot is a beautiful resort but is undergoing renovations so they don't offer any services at the moment. The pool is full of dirty water, the reception bathrooms are still full of lime and insects, there are workers (rightly) wandering around the entire resort and the breakfast is really poor: they offer toast with butter and jam and something savory. The rooms, on the other hand, are fabulous, spacious and state-of-the-art... ours was directly on the sea and offers L'Occitane products which in our opinion are excellent. The price for the current conditions is decidedly high.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is excellent. It offers great value for money and has direct beach access. While the room itself was a bit dated, having the beach right there made me totally overlook it! 😂 The pool was clean, and breakfast was just okay. It's truly perfect for a relaxing escape to clear your mind. 👍👍 Overall, I highly recommend it.
