Location: The hotel is located across from Lake Te Anau which also leads to Manapouri which is our intended destination for Doubtful Sound cruise.
Parking: The 2 BR cabin was conveniently located at the front of the park (which is huge) and parked right in front of the cabin.
Rooms: The cabin is split into 3 distinct areas - 1 large bedroom with queen bed, 1 bathroom in center of cabin, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds - since I was with family we had the whole cabin with the bathroom in center of the 2 cabins.
Facilities: It was nice that they have fast Wifi and laundry rooms across the park. Used the laundry facilities and it was well maintained. We also rented their lockers to store our luggage as we had to take an overnight cruise at Doubtful Sound.
Grand location close to lake and town.
Showers difficult to find, even with the map (which was generally helpful)
Nice quiet spot with some great night skies.
No TV although it said the cabin came with one.
For our needs, did the job and a most comfortable space.
High cost performance, parking space is very convenient. But the exhaust fan can't be turned on and it's a bit stuffy. The surrounding is very convenient, go to the supermarket and take the fjord bus.
I can absolutely recommend this place..it was delightful and very reasonably priced, possibly because it is not on the waterfront, but the cabin and service well and truly makes up for it's less than prime position. Could have stayed there for much longer.
We spent one night, having driven down from Wanaka and intending to continue to the Milford Sound tour the following day. Donna was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed and were comfortable. The history of the building was fascinating, and the antique decor and trinkets added to the charm. Breakfast the following morning was great- wonderful scrambled eggs. Thank you!

We had a spacious room, room has fantastic sea view, room is 1 minute walk to the beach, can see dolphins in the evening. Motel near to the Penguin walk area and few hiking trails.Kitchen has stove, hot plate but no oven. Only knew the washer available on common area after check out. As our car break down, friendly host allowed us to use the common toilet and offer us drinks while waiting for technical.
The room is very good, the living room is comfortable, the parking is convenient, the landlord warmly gave us milk 🥛, the night is very quiet, the sleep is very good, the bathing place is also a very good place for dry and wet separation.

We had a wonderful stay at Aden Motel. The room had all the necessary amenities (electric blankets, heater, warm shower, fully equipped kitchen) for a good night’s rest, along with parking right at the doorstep. Met Irene at check-in and David when checking out - a very friendly couple and excellent hosts! The lovely painting of an autumn tree was also a nice touch (didn’t get a photo unfortunately). Overall, we highly recommend Aden Motel.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a very central location and has its own underground paid parking lot. Parking is free at the door at night. The oysters in the nearby town of Bluff are delicious. There is a very popular local restaurant that is great and requires advance reservation. New Zealand's express hotels do not retain guest information, only verify the reservation name, and pay great attention to privacy.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit dated and could use some renovations, especially in the rooms, to improve the overall comfort for guests. Moreover, the wifi was very poor, cannot be used the internet at all, should improve! However, the front desk staff provides excellent service in the morning, and they offer great recommendations for local attractions.
GGuest UserExcellent! The hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy. It's beautifully situated right by the lake, offering picturesque surroundings. Being conveniently close to Milford Sound is a great advantage, as it allows you to easily drive there and secure a free parking spot. On top of that, the accommodation is much more affordable than staying in Queenstown.
圣圣代千层雪A motel run by a Chinese mother and daughter is 3 kilometers away from Invercargill city center. There are fast food restaurants and two large home appliances cities. The room itself is not large, but the bed is a good size. We only stayed for one night, so Yes, you need to take a bath or detergent at night

GGuest UserWas priced very cheap - room clean but very dated , camp kitchen needed a good scrubbing, broken amenities and no washing machine working - BUT hospitality was great and restaurant attached gave us one of the nicest and cheapest meals we had - took some famous sausages to cook away with us.
We were in hostel so was cheapest accommodation they had - 4 people room was only $100
