I spent four nights in the excecutive suite of the new wing and i was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and excellent standard of this beautiful resort near the airport, which was not noticeable at all (no planes flying over or near the location). The hotel staff was always attentive, friendly and helpful. The beach was kept clean, the schools of little fish in the water indicating its purity. The restaurant Allegro's breakfast buffet offered a variety of different cuisine to choose from: tasty , fresh, appetizingly displayed. i especially enjoyed the local filipino treats like puto and bibinki. In addition i thoroughly enjoyed my vegetarian pizza at Delfino's and the refreshing thrist-quenching freshly-made juices at the juiceBar. I received two very relaxing treatments by Ms.Aileen at the Spa, with its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Housekeeper Ms.Rose was impeccable at making sure i always had new bottles of drinking water. Although i did not require her daily housekeeping, my room stayed clean , towels orderly and my laundry was in perfect condition , delivered on time. This beautiful Resort deserves a five star rating in my humble opinion. Bravo and Thank you Bluewater Maribago, i know where i will be staying when i come back to the Philippines in the near future.

My advice, do not stay here in July. The hotel allows the nearby teenage english students to stay, and they cause a lot of chaos and are unsupervised most of the time. (I am a teacher, little discipline) Unfortunately, this makes it feel more like a youth hostel, than a hotel. Second, is the noise, lots of construction work up until 10pm and some all night long, lucky the room's AC is so loud but without it you can't sleep. Third, be prepared for every single time you walk down into the lobby, sales people will pounce on you trying to sell condos. There should be no sales people within the hotel at all! The pool and beach are amazing and the customer service is very good, but not as good as Boracay. But, at times the atmosphere is rowdy and not peaceful. Lastly, the stock of the pool bar and beach bar is pretty poor, never has what you actually want, and it is overpriced. (food and drink) Would I stay again? No. Is it value for money? I guess so. I would pay a bit more to stay in a better resort closer to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were incredible. It's also kid-friendly, which we appreciated. However, the hotel is quite far from the beach, so it's not recommended if you're traveling with seniors. The food was a bit expensive, but we had a great time enjoying drinks by the pool area.

Hotel is quite strict on security (albeit a bit troublesome cause need to scan every time you enter), but feels safe! Service by all staff was great. Help came quickly too when we dialled for assistance. Location may be slightly far from attraction, but there’s a mall with plenty of food options 5 mins away by foot, so it’s ok. Oh! Gelato in the lobby taste really good :)

I came here for white sand beach. But in fact beach is so dirty... during 5 days I've been here all days were so many seaweed and plastic in the water. One day I even couldn't swim. Snorkeling is poor as well. Hotel is clean and nice. But there some things, I didn't like. 1. No shower at the beach. 2. Security doesn't do anything with annoying sellers at the beach. Literally every 3-5 minutes I was distracted by locals selling something. I came here for peace and calm. This is annoying so much 3. I asked at the reception can I take phone and pocket to the beach, they said NOOOO it's not safe. Keep all your things with you. How can I relax in such environment? What exactly security do there then? 4. The price for this hotel equal to Marriott, but quality is not the same. I feel economy through everything. Very thin toilet paper. Diluted soup in washroom. And breakfast ... First time in my life I saw cheese cold cuts size 2×2 centimeters. Literally. I paid a lot for this hotel and don't want feel economy vibe. 5. Evening buffet doesn't work everyday. Yeah, it cost not much... but anyway meat there was with bones or soooo hard to chew. Again this economy vibe🙄 was it hard to take a normal meat? Not the cheapest one 6. Check out at 11 am.... what? I've been at 25 countries and hundreds hotels. This is first time check out so early. I asked for late check out and what they gave me is 1 hour more. So basically just a normal check out time. Insane 7. The quality of drinking water is very bad. 8. Ice for drinks probably made from tap water. It's too bad. 9. I feel pressure from sign near elevators. ”Using the stair promotes good health”. I've got a knee injury, I can't use stairs. Didn't I pay enough to use elevator? Or again you wanna save some electricity? Why to put this sign? Again this economy vibe... So faithful for this place is 6.5/10 But any sense to come here? Beach is so dirty...

The hotel itself is great, and our family room was spacious and comfortable. The dining experience was excellent, with a well-balanced buffet breakfast and quick poolside service via a convenient QR code system. However, the check-in process was a bit drawn-out. After I thought I had completed everything, I was called by phone back to pay a deposit. They mentioned they would contact me when the room was ready, but I never received a call. I ended up going back later on my own, and while the staff did apologize, it was still an inconvenience. My only other gripe is the lack of valet parking, which I would expect at a hotel of this standard. Instead, guests have to walk roughly 250 meters each way to the car park, which can be uncomfortable in the heat. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were quite spacious and immaculately clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. One of the standout aspects of this place was the staff – they were incredibly accommodating, always polite, and ready to assist with any concerns or requests, which really added to the overall quality of the service. However, there were a few areas that I felt could use improvement. The breakfast, for instance, was a bit underwhelming. While it was decent, there wasn’t much variety in the selection. It would have been nice to see a wider range of dishes to cater to different tastes and preferences. Another thing worth mentioning is the pool. Although it was a nice feature to have, it was smaller than expected. Additionally, during the day it was too hot to comfortably enjoy a swim, as there wasn’t much shade or cooling features around the area. A few enhancements here and there could definitely make the experience more enjoyable for guests. Overall, it’s a good hotel with strong points in cleanliness, space, and service, but with some room for improvement when it comes to amenities and breakfast options.

Decent room for the price. A great location. Walking distance to Ayala business park mall. I have stayed there several times. Only issue I have is that every room I stay in, either the sink, shower, or both are always semi clogged.

Conveniently located above a commercial shopping center, Toyoko allows guest elevator access to Starbucks, pharmacies, restaurants, and supermarkets. Rooms have great views of the city and it is a perfect stay for an unfussy tourist. It is a budget hotel, so don’t expect grand buffets or fancy amenities. It is, however, clean and well maintained. Staff are super friendly, supportive, and go well beyond their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A mere 5km drive to the Seaport, Fort of San Pedro, and the Basilica.

TTheo StanI had the pleasure of staying at the Tsai Hotel and Residences, and it was an experience worth noting. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming staff and seamless check-in process set the tone for a pleasant stay. The location is fantastic, offering proximity to key attractions, dining options, and shopping areas, making it ideal for leisure and business travelers alike. The room was immaculate, with modern furnishings that combined comfort and functionality. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the spacious bathroom and the availability of essential amenities that catered to every need. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which was a great plus for staying connected. The hotel's common areas, including the lobby and dining spaces, were well-maintained and exuded a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious, featuring local and international dishes that appealed to all palates. The in-house restaurant staff was attentive and ensured a delightful dining experience. What truly set the Tsai Hotel apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, always greeting me with warm smiles and a willingness to assist with any request. While everything was close to perfect, a minor improvement could be enhancing soundproofing in the rooms to block out occasional street noise. Nonetheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall experience. I highly recommend the Tsai Hotel and Residences to anyone visiting the area. It offers excellent value for money, a prime location, and impeccable service that guarantees a memorable stay. I am looking forward to returning on my next trip!

GGuest UserWe stayed at Henann Tawala Hotel for a week upon arriving in Bohol, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean, living up to its 4-star rating. Upon arrival, the staff were very attentive—our bags were handled, and we were offered breakfast while our early check-in was expedited. One thing to be aware of is the 3,000 pesos per night damage deposit. If paid by credit card, any charges, such as room service or drinks at the swim-up bar, are deducted from it, with the balance refunded after checkout. The breakfast area is beautifully presented, with friendly staff who greet you warmly. After giving your room number and surname, you’re escorted to a table. However, we noticed some inconsistency in service—on some days we were offered coffee or tea, while on others we weren’t. There were also times when water wasn’t provided, so we ended up with double servings after fetching it ourselves. Consistency in service would enhance the experience, but the self-service station for coffee, water, and juices was convenient. Breakfast options were excellent, with plenty of variety to suit all preferences. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. One small issue was being asked to leave a yogurt behind when I tried to take it out of the breakfast area. I understand the rule to prevent excessive takeaway, but I felt a little flexibility could be applied for small items. The rooms at Henann Tawala are impressive—spacious with great bathrooms and lovely balconies. Among the best we’ve stayed in, they’re comparable to high-end hotels like Radisson Blu in Cebu or Seda Ayala Central Block. The reception staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged a reasonably priced van for our trip to Tagbilaran, and the driver was punctual, providing a comfortable ride. He even dropped us off at the right spot for catching a van to Anda at the Dao Bus Terminal. One nice perk of staying here is the short walk to Henann's beachfront property, where you can use the sun loungers shaded by palm trees and enjoy drinks served by the staff. However, you can’t use the pool there, and you need to pick up towels from Henann Tawala before heading to the beach. The beach is beautiful, but there are quite a few hawkers selling tours, which can be a bit of a nuisance. We found better deals on Facebook. The sea is warm, though there’s a fair amount of seaweed. I’d recommend snorkeling to watch your step, as there are starfish and possibly sea urchins. We only swam once. If you buy mangosteen from beach vendors (150-200 pesos), check for ants, as one of our bags was full of them! Just outside the hotel’s main gates, there’s an ATM and a laundry shop that charges around 400 pesos for 5 kg, returning clothes washed, dried, and folded by 5 pm. It’s much cheaper than the hotel’s laundry service. We also tried the Kajun Restaurant nearby, which offers excellent chicken sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes in an American diner style. On the beachfront, our favorite restaurant was the Oasis Resort’s upstairs bar and restaurant, which has a cooling breeze and a great view of the beach. Every dish we tried was fantastic, and we highly recommend it. While our stay at Henann Tawala was wonderful, Panglao itself felt quite touristy. There were many Korean tourists, and a lot of locals trying to sell tours and services, which sometimes felt overwhelming. Prices were higher than we expected, especially for things like tricycles, which cost 150 pesos per person compared to the 12 pesos we paid in the provinces. Restaurant prices were also inflated, and even basic supplies came at a premium. If you prefer a quieter, more authentic experience, I’d recommend visiting somewhere like Anda. It has a more laid-back, provincial vibe, with friendlier locals and a slower pace of life, making it a peaceful alternative to the busy, touristy atmosphere of Panglao.

ННаталья ДроняеваOur stay at E L Westensee Resort exceeded all our expectations! This place is ideal for those who are looking for a combination of coziness, comfort and excellent service. Our villa was simply magnificent: spacious, stylish and very cozy. Snow-white bed linen and impeccable cleanliness created a feeling of real luxury. The hotel staff are real professionals! Very responsive, sincere and always ready to help. When we decided to rent a bike, it was delivered right to the hotel - new, powerful, for only 500 pesos per day. It was incredibly convenient for trips to Alon Beach (only 7 km) and to local attractions. I would like to separately note the breakfasts. The food was delicious, fresh and prepared with love. A real pleasure to start the day with such dishes! We were pleased with the proximity to the street with cafes and restaurants - literally a few minutes walk. This allowed us to try many local dishes and not depend on transport. Special thanks for organizing an early breakfast before our departure - everything was ready at 5:30, and the transfer to the airport was waiting for us on time. E L Westensee Resort is a place where you want to come back! The warm atmosphere, perfect cleanliness and caring approach to each guest made our vacation simply unforgettable!

MManilyn VallartaWe love this place, the staff is friendly and we requested a buggy to send us to one of their restaurant on a heavy rainy night from our villa The buggy guy didn’t make a fuss about it. GGuest UserThe overall experience is good. Here are some of the highlights of our stay here in Solea Mactan: Great points: *Diverse and fun amenities which everyone can enjoy. From pools to beach to recreational activities. *Staffs are accommodating. They are patient with our requests and always smiling. *Foods are great! All are tasty. *Hotel room is clean and hotel attendant always make sure that our rooms are clean. *Freebies upon entrance for in-house guests. For improvement: *Bed requests. There should always be flexibility when it comes to guests bee choices especially for couples. *Toilet flush. Flushing the toilet is sometimes challenging as the dirt slowly gets flushed down. This needs to be fixed. *Leakage of water from shower room. There is a little amount of water leaking from the walls of the shower room to the outside wall facing the main room. For fixing as well. *Slower request accommodation. This does not happen most of the times but there moments that our requests takes time to be done. There is one instance wherein we requested for a “make up room” but was not attended right away. We had to call again on the front desk for this to be accommodated, though they are still courteous and apologized on the request delay. The experience is great and would recommend this to our friends but we hoped that the things needed to be fixed should be done asap for greater stay. Thank you Solea!

GGuest UserGranada is a special place to stay. The owners are on the grounds and personally assisting with the guests and things around the resort. Food menus are set for every other day, which is unique. The food is delicious! A mix between local and foreign cuisine. They’re accommodating with minor changes to each meal if you request it. They also asked if we wanted our Mel served in our room, which is very cool also! Adults only, so it is a quiet place. Pool is 24 hours. Check out time can be flexible if requested and the room isn’t booked for your check out day. This is a great place for couples who want a quiet and relaxing place to stay. It’s nearby Oslob, the place to see whale sharks. If taking a bus from Cebu city, the trip is about 3.5-4 hours depending on traffic. The beach is relaxing with very natural sand composition and the sand isn’t connected to the water, it’s above it. Bring water shoes as the water is natural with coral. Great for snorkeling! At night we found a giant hermit crab on the beach! First time to see one so big!
