Good location for aurora chasing, can see aurora just outside your room. Clean & helpful staff. Have common area & kitchen that you can cook for yourself, what is need to prepare is to buy food before going to Abisko as there is no shops nearby.
Around 6 mins walk from the train station but it would be great difficulty when you have heavy luggages and under heavy snow. Better to provide free shuttle for those needed.

Room was slightly small but it's located conveniently at central Kalix. Checking in and out was smooth. Staff was friendly.
It's a heritage hotel which existence is more than 50 years. There's a stuff bear on the staircase near the lobby which is good for a candid photography.
Breakfast was typical Swedish and it was by good.

I came here from Taiwan to see the aurora. The environment here is very beautiful, and I participated in many games, including BBQ barbecue aurora, and I went to the dog sled next door to participate. I think it is very good here. I really recommend it to everyone!

Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick on the day of check-in and we couldn't see the aurora. The hotel has glass houses and cabins. The glass houses look very simple and have low cost performance. You must book all kinds of snow sports in advance, otherwise you will not be able to book them. I played all the way for 6 days, one city every day, thinking about going there and booking all the activities for the next day. In the last 6 days, I didn’t play a single activity. GGuest UserIt was very cozy and beautiful Swedish hotel. I loved it very much and it was way cheaper than I expected in Sweden.
The breakfast was everything. It was just amazing service they had and I would love to comeback again.
I would definitely recommend to lot of Asians.
It would be nicer if the reception is working longer and didn’t need to call in Swedish number.
But other than that it’s very nice hotel I would recommend ❤️

This stay far exceeded expectations! The front desk was very efficient and actively recommended the surrounding niche food. The room was cleaned spotlessly, the shower water pressure and water temperature were stable, the sound insulation effect was also great, and the night was particularly stable. The breakfast is rich in variety, the ingredients are fresh, highly recommended!

◦ Parent-child family: It's so worry-free to bring a baby! There are children's picture books and small toys in the room. Children's tableware is also provided for breakfast. The waiter also took the initiative to bring a small cake to the child. The hotel is ten minutes walk from the park, parking is free, very convenient.
◦ Business travel: a great choice for business trips. The room is soundproofed, the office is completely undisturbed late at night, the desk is big enough, and there are many charging ports. Breakfast is open at 7 o'clock, and you can eat enough in the early flight. The front desk helps to print the documents in a timely manner and must be praised.
