The service at Amanoi was fantastic, meeting the high standards expected from Aman. However, some issues, particularly the unexpected noise, impacted our stay:
Noise Disruption - Most Disappointing Aspect: Our first morning was serene, but on the second day, we were unexpectedly awakened by loud machinery noise from a nearby park as early as 6–7 a.m. The disturbance continued throughout the morning, interrupting even our attempt to rest after breakfast. Many guests travel all the way to Amanoi to find peace and tranquility away from city noise, so this was especially disappointing. Although the hotel eventually offered a small compensation after we raised the issue, it would have been preferable if they had addressed it proactively.
Location Issues: The location listed on Trip.com was incorrect, causing our Grab driver to drop us at a different place. The driver then charged extra to get us to the correct location. Accurate location information could prevent this inconvenience for future guests.
Limited Dining Options - Lack of Pre-arrival Information: Amanoi has only two dining options, with the BBQ restaurant open to the public only on Saturdays. Unfortunately, this detail wasn’t shared with us beforehand, so we missed the BBQ night and had to dine at the same restaurant both nights. While pre-arrival communications were focused on add-on cost services like transportation and visa fast-tracking, providing essential details such as dining schedules and locations would have greatly enhanced our planning and experience.
Language Accessibility: My mother reads only in Chinese, and we were given a Chinese menu only during our final meal out of four. Having this option from the beginning would have significantly improved her dining experience.

The hotel facilities and proximity to the beach were amazing. Breakfast delicious and rooms spacious and inviting for families with children.
As written in other reviews, the hotel only provided 9 beach umbrellas with seats and they were mostly taken by other guests, meaning that we often had to pay for other seats despite being Havana guests.
We wouldn't stay here again for one big reason of noise. The paradise club opposite Havana totally ruins this hotel. It has live singing until past midnight, and the club itself doesn't close until 2.30am.
The pool looked fantastic in the photos but in reality it was windy on the 5th floor and the water was cold. We found the beach water so much warmer.

It was conveniently located opposite the beach. Plenty of food options nearby. We asked for a quieter room but it doesn't face the beach so we had a good sleep for the 4 nights we stayed there.

I had an amazing experience staying at Vinpearl Beachfront Nha Trang. My room had a stunning panoramic sea view, absolutely breathtaking to wake up to each morning! The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making my stay very relaxing.
Check-in and check-out were fast and seamless, with friendly and professional staff who made the whole process effortless.

The hotel is very clean and in good location with many restaurants nearby and the sea front. Good gym and pool facilities and a very extensive buffet breakfast which caters for all dietary needs and tastes and very plentiful. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable and professional and always eager to help. The room we stayed in a suite was adequate for our needs and a nice hot shower available. No complaints or negatives and would definitely stay here again.
Private Villa was very nice and modern. Private pool and view was amazing.
Rest of the hotel area with public pool and dining area was not more than average. Layout for mass tourism.
Staff was very friendly and helpful as far as they understood English.
Breakfast buffet was ok but dinner buffet and also the a-la-carte restaurant was a nightmare - especially for the requested prices.
I recommend everyone to drive to the cable car island station: there you get more choice, better quality and all this for 30-50% of the hotel price.
All in all the private villas are nice for a family vacation but the main building (normal rooms) I suggest to skip.

Great pool, but better come before 8 am to be sure you have a sunbed. Nice small gym. Delicious breakfast and they change main dishes everyday, but have cleaning issues. The floor is not clean after their cleaning and I always find black hair in my room....I'm blondy, so cleaners leave their messages to me on the floor😄. Also it's a bit far from the sea, 10 minutes walking, and the road , as everywhere in Vietnam is not safe to cross, but to get to the seaside you must cross 3 roads. Also my room window was facing the....wall.

Despite being well-presented, this establishment exhibits signs of aging. The room was spacious but require some renovation. It also required a dedicated cleaning crew for daily upkeep as we did a wipe down ourselves and the wet wipes were filthy.
We were taken aback to find that our room had not been cleaned after we left that morning at 8 am for an island hopping tour, returning only at 4 pm. Upon inquiring at the reception, we were informed that the cleaning staff concluded their duties at 4 pm that day.
However, the location is excellent. It is just a stone's throw from the renowned beach, with numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, and grocery shops in the vicinity. Additionally, it is within walking distance of a shopping mall and a night market as well.
Great value for the money. The villa has a spacious living room, great for working; a nice small side garden. The territory is nice, green and well maintained. The staff is professional, it's great to see their sincere smiles.
Will try to come here with the whole family next time for the vacation.
Our family’s stay at the Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa on Hon Tre Island was a blend of breathtaking natural beauty, luxurious accommodations, and a few areas needing improvement.
The island itself is a tropical paradise—picture serene, crystal-clear seas teeming with vibrant marine life, coconut palms heavy with fruit, and lush groves of mangoes and bananas.
The air is perfumed with the scent of exotic flowers from the island’s diverse trees, creating a serene backdrop that feels like stepping into a postcard.
The resort itself is visually stunning, offering a range of accommodations to suit different needs. The villas are a highlight, with spacious double, triple, and quadruple bedroom options, many featuring private pools that elevate the luxury experience. The main building offers a variety of well-appointed rooms with modern amenities, catering to couples, families, or solo travelers.
The expansive beach, paired with jaw-dropping sea views, is a standout feature, perfect for soaking in the tranquility or enjoying water activities.
Dining at the resort is a delight, with a wide array of options to satisfy every palate, including thoughtfully prepared halal dishes. Whether you’re craving local Vietnamese flavors or international cuisine, there’s something for everyone. However, the “Sands” restaurant had a notable downside: the far corner, where dirty dishes are collected near the coffee machines and Vietnamese coffee station, was unpleasantly odorous, with dirty walls and shelves that detracted from the otherwise pleasant dining experience. Management should address this promptly to maintain the resort’s high standards.
Service was generally acceptable, but there’s room for improvement. While some staff members, like the exceptional Lisa at reception, were superheroes—quickly resolving issues with clarity and professionalism—others seemed undertrained.
The guest relations team, in particular, could benefit from better selection and training to match the resort’s luxury positioning.
Housekeeping was a mixed bag; we observed some staff working diligently, but the cleaning quality in our villa was inconsistent, with noticeable lapses that left us disappointed.
Facility-wise, the resort’s infrastructure needs attention. Shower heads and bathroom faucets were subpar, and poor drainage in the showers caused water to pool, which was frustrating. Additionally, the beach, while stunning, was littered to a surprising degree—comparable to a public beaches like Miami’s. Given the resort’s emphasis on nature, we were surprised by the lack of regular beach cleaning.
I recommend management invest in sand-cleaning machines and implement a routine maintenance schedule, perhaps every two weeks, to preserve the island’s pristine beauty. A gentle reminder to guests: please help protect this natural gem by keeping it clean!
Overall, the Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa offers a luxurious escape in a breathtaking setting, with diverse accommodations and dining options. However, management must address staff training, facility maintenance, and beach cleanliness to fully match the resort’s potential. We’d return for the stunning views and Liza’s stellar service, but we hope to see improvements for an even better experience.

AAnonymous UserOur second stay at Swandor Cam Ranh and it was even better as we went during a better season. Perfect sunshine with pools and the beach. The shows were great and the food just as good as last time. Special mention to all the Animators team, Mark and Yulia and Mani from Cuba. The activities they organize made our stay even more fun. Their energy levels boosted all of ours as well!
GGuest UserThe room was excellent, newly renovated, and the location was perfect – very close to Nha Trang city center, lively yet surprisingly peaceful. We stayed for four days with our child, and every staff member was fantastic, offering truly sincere and caring service. A special shout-out to the kind gentleman who helped me book a bus ticket to Ho Chi Minh City; his service was truly exceptional. I had no cash or cards, and he not only guided me to an exchange but also booked the ticket for me during his shift. The next day, he even ensured his colleagues were briefed to follow up carefully. For us, being in a foreign country and unfamiliar with the area, this was an immense help. I regret that he wasn't working the day we left, as I really wanted to thank him properly. You can book this hotel without hesitation; they will solve all your problems and provide genuine service. The breakfast was also great, with different options daily. They are very friendly towards Chinese guests. Highly recommend! 👍
GGuest UserA lam was magical, such a beautiful place to enjoy the beauty of Vietnam. Beaches, activities in the resort- hiking, fun fishing, swimming, the food was incredible. Both local Veg and meat options were delicious and fresh. The Italian was good too. The viet coffee is a must try, deserts were amazing- we tried the viet coffee crème brule and tiramisu, the apple crumble was a winner! The jungle spa was a nice and natural environment to destress after your flight and travels. The boat pick up and transfers were organised for us as we preferred. The service was amazing. They helped us check into our flight on priority as we had a last minute flight change. Thom’s service was impeccable! ✨ highly recommended stay for luxury and peaceful at its best!

GGuest UserThe staff is much friendlier than the previous hotel we stayed in. Most of them are able to communicate in English. All restaurants offer good food, but the morning buffet and Sino kitchen are especially 😋 great. The overall antique wood design is very appealing compared to the pseudo-Western mansion-style villas in other resorts. The pools are also quite well maintained. It would be better if they were more heated in the winter, though!
MMamaGWe had a great time here. They had so many pools that it was never really crowded at the pool. It was a nice walk to the beach. Beach sand was nice. Breakfast food was great. The grocery store carried lots of Korean food which was, a bonus for us. The bar had nice cocktail. It was pretty close to the airport so it was very convenient. Only complaint I had was that because of the weather, they would not let us go into the ocean. We stay there for six days and we couldn’t go. I think some days the wave was pretty low, but bodyguard would not let us go in. Once the wave reached Irene, he was yelling at us to come out. Ocean water was so beautiful. I think the resort should have the guest signed the waiver and swim at the ocean on their own risk. Because our family is a good swimmer we could’ve totally enjoyed the waves. my family was so upset because of this because we went there for the ocean. They had a good size waterpark and mini golf. They had a lot of things that Kids could do. So we were never bored.
GGuest UserWe got a very relaxing holidays at this hotel. Room’s settings made you feel like at home, cozy and spacious with a pool. If you are looking for a quiet holiday retreat, it’s the perfect spot for you. Far away from the busy city. Location is perfect less than 10 minutes from airport without any noise as it’s a small airport. Check in is smooth and fast, within no time after you landed, you are already in your room or swimming at your pool.
Daily Spa massage is professional, therapists are efficients and the whole area is well managed. You just need to contact them to book in advance your schedule during your stays as soon as you booked your room.
Yoga’s place is in an amazing setting, yoga’s teachers need to improve their English skills.
Gym place is ok. Can improve a bit more the setting.
Breakfast a la carte at Breeze restaurant is nice and professional. But the breakfast at other restaurant call Fresh restaurant needs to be improved in terms of locals foods variety( very few local dishes to discover…) and services, sometimes can be hard to find a table or waiter to attend you, due to lacks of management.
As the hotel is far away from city, no other options for dining around, we decided to stay and used all our meals at the hotel, which is fine for us as we don’t want to wandering around neither. But sometimes we feel it’s a bit limited, as there is only one restaurant is open most of the time and the Breeze restaurant is open only on weekends… and on Wednesday we have to opt for bbq dinner buffet and nothing else as the only restaurant is open for that bbq day, if you’re not keen on bbq, then you are free to go somewhere else to eat out of the hotel or stay in your room to order a la carte, which give us a feeling of being trapped.
Kid’s club and activities have to improve, especially for kids above 6 years old. There is a farm but it’s about 20 minutes wandering and discovering are enough to spend there. Especially when it’s hot. Not much more to do. Same as spa, we can’t order a foot massage or anything for children below 16 years old. Even if it’s private order. Kind of limited for family with children, as this hotel is a resort.
The Staff in general are courteous, friendly, smiling and have very good attitude. The surrounding areas and equipment are well maintained and clean. Buggies are available all the time to drive you from your room to others spots within the resort, they are friendly and thoughtful with guests.
All in all, we do remember about the friendly hospitality of the staff at the hotel whom made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
We will be back again soon. Hope those small details will be implemented and improved by then.
Cheers
EElenaI am really happy to stay in this hotel! Very friendly and amazing staff! Thank you to Jun, he works professionally and helps to make your staying in hotel enjoyable and cozying.
GGuest UserThe main benefit is definitely the location, it's not far from the the downtown of Nha Trang, so in comparison to other resorts, here you can order a taxi and get to the city center within 10-20 minutes. The resort itself is great, everything is new and clean, very scenic view from the lobby, the staff is polite and caring. Breakfasts are tasty. The terrirory (beach and alleys) is not big, but on the other hand the resort has two swimming pools, so it was easy enough to find a sun lounger even during busy hours.
I would recommend this type of vacation experience for families with children, as imho for couples and lone travellers this kind of resort would be a little bit boring and for the families with kids all conditions are provided: children can enjoy the swimming pool and parents can chill under the sun.
AAigerim T.We had one of the best holidays in this resort. It’s situated outside of the Nha Trang downtown which makes it very calm and relax area too, situated on the cliffs, having big area to walk around, not big pools but very scenic. Resort has the greatest staff to answer all your needs and just for a small talks too. Most of all I loved its spa, which has wide variety of services that will make you relax very well. Breakfast is great and very tasty, restaurant food too. Resort organized nice dinners for Christmas, offered Christmas spa packages too. Would love to come back there once again.
