Visiting the East Gate of the Forbidden City and Zhongshan Park after the snow

After two consecutive days of heavy snow, I went out to enjoy the scenery in the snow on the weekend. Along the East Gate, I admired the scenery, looking at the snow-covered walls of the Forbidden City and the frozen moat, which presented a unique view. I took photos at the silver-clad Meridian Gate, feeling the majestic grandeur of the Ming and Qing palaces, and then went to Zhongshan Park to tread the snow, admiring the pavilions, terraces and towers against the backdrop of the snow scene, watching the magpies foraging in the snow, very quiet and comfortable, relaxing the body and mind.
