Zhong Shan Park

This park was just what we needed after a very busy morning at the Palace Museum. The gardens are pretty and it was relatively quiet after the crowds outside. A minimal entrance charge. This was where we found the only children's playground during our time in Beijing to the delight of our 3 and 5 year olds. The entrance charge for this was well more than the park but worth it after we had all walked through the palace museum. But instead of a tourist attraction, I think it's more like a beautiful normal park, where you can take a walk with your family after dinner. Though it's definitely not as famous as Tiananmen Square, it shows the beauty of this old town-Beijing of its own way. So if you've already gone to the Tiananmen Square, just spend some time at the park too. It's a place worth visiting. #beijingtrip #urbanexplorer #palace
