The most enchanting Miao Village — the human fireworks of a thousand households

I arrived at the Qianhu Miao Village, an ancient settlement located in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, China, as if stepping into a mysterious and beautiful painting. Upon my first visit to the Miao Village, I was captivated by the stone buildings. These structures are paved with bluestone slabs, with soaring eaves and unique shapes. Under the setting sun, the buildings of the Miao Village exude a simple and mysterious charm. On the streets, the Miao people wear traditional costumes, don silver ornaments, and waist-long skirts embroidered with totems, fully displaying the traditional culture and customs of the Miao nationality. In the village of the Miao Village, traditional handicrafts such as Miao embroidery and silver ornaments can be seen everywhere. Skilled Miao women are hand-embroidering exquisitely patterned embroidery, occasionally humming Miao folk songs, making one feel the strong cultural atmosphere. At night, Qianhu Miao Village becomes even more charming. As night falls, the entire village is lit up, with every Miao household lighting bright candles. The fine, long lines of light weave through the village, outlining another enchanting aspect of the Miao Village. Miao men and women sit together, tasting delicious dishes, talking about the various aspects of life, and from time to time, the sound of beautiful singing can be heard, as if one is in the happy world of human fireworks. During my days in Qianhu Miao Village, I not only experienced the local customs of the Miao people but also felt their reverence and inheritance of traditional culture. The people here are warm and hospitable, natural and simple, their smiles brimming with happiness and joy, making me feel as if I have found the tranquility and happiness of primitive life deep within my heart. Qianhu Miao Village is an enchanting place that showcases the unique cultural charm and the beauty of human fireworks of the Miao nationality. Here, I saw not only the scenery of the Miao Village but also experienced the soul of the thousand-year-old Miao Village, the simple and profound cultural heritage that makes this place so captivating and unique.
